Our clinic is situated in the Richmond Heights professional building on the S side of New Richmond, WI just E of Highway 65 next to County Market.

Hoof and Paw Veterinary Clinic is a mixed animal practice. We provide health care to bovine, equine, canine, feline and alpacas. We provide referral for exotics. The primary purpose of the Hoof and Paw Veterinary Clinic is to supply a Gold Standard of health care for your pet by treating your pet as we would our own.


Dr. Lisa VandeBerg grew up with horses and showed in halter, and English and Western pleasure in 4-H, open and Quarter horse shows in Wisconsin and Minnesota. She has a B.S. in Biology from UW-River Falls and gained her veterinary degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1992. She completed a year long internship in equine medicine and surgery at Kansas State University in 1993.


In 1984, Dr. Greg Palmquist moved to Grantsburg and purchased an existing veterinary clinic previously owned by Dr. Branstad in Grantsburg, WI. He practiced companion medicine and developed the bovine and equine practice in Grantsburg, along with other doctors. In 1995, Grantsburg Animal Hospital was remodeled and doubled its size at the current location at 886 South Pine Street.


Our new location is 2504 Mall Drive, between Hancock Fabrics and DollarTree/Harbor Freight Tools, just two blocks N of our previous location. Our new facility provides over twenty five luxury dog boarding suites with a huge exercise yard, separate cat luxury condos with a view to the outside, additional grooming services, doggy day care and a 2nd surgical suite.
