Fishers Veterinary Hospital was opened by Dr. David Brown in 1979. The Carmel Clinic was opened a year later. In 1988, the Fishers hospital moved into a new facility on Allisonville Road N of 116th Street, and in 2002, the Brookschool Road clinic opened to cover the requirements of the fast-growing E side of Fishers and Indianapolis' Geist area.

Having been set up in 1946, Northside Animal Hospital is the oldest tiny animal practice on the N side of Indianapolis. Our practice celebrated its 50th year recognition for membership with the American Animal Hospital Association in 2000, and remains a member today. Such membership holds our practice to a higher standard and inspection scrutiny than non-member hospitals.
