Dr. Carl Binford graduated from Texas A&M University in 1977 with a Bachelor of Science and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. He was President of the Dallas County Veterinary Medical Association in 1986.

Carrollton Animal Hospital was opened in 1972 to supply veterinary medicine to the residents of Carrollton/Farmers Branch /Lewisville and the North Dallas area. The hospital is owned by Dr. Michael W. McGuire and provides medicine and surgery for dogs, cats, and tiny exotic pets.


He spent three years in the US Army stationed at the US Naval Academy in Maryland. He bought his 1st Veterinary Hospital in Carrollton, TX in 1984. He enjoys tiny animal medicine including all kinds of tiny animals including exotics from reptiles, marsupials, ferrets, rabbits and rodents to birds, monkeys and potbellied pigs.
