Backstretch Veterinary was established in 1988 by Dr. Erica Fuller and Dr. Sue Montgomery. In 1998, Dr. Suzanne Loheac joined the practice when Dr. Montgomery decided to pursue a career in public health. In 2003, Dr. Fuller decided to move on to a new career in law, so Dr. Loheac took the reins. Over the years the practice has gone through many changes.
Margo Roman, D.V.M. graduated from Tuskegee Institute of Alabama in 1978. She was a student of the International Veterinary Acupuncture Course in 1976. Her internship from 1978 to 1981 was at Angell Memorial in Boston, MA. She attended the University of Florida for undergraduate where she did research in the tobacco mosaic virus.
Dr. Lisa Danielle Dani Cimino has been practicing high-quality companion animal medicine in the Metrowest Boston area since 1997. She has special interests in ophthalmology and geriatric medicine. In 1997, Dr. Cimino graduated 1st in her class at Michigan State University's College of Veterinary Medicine in East Lansing.
