Dr Pillsbury and staff are outstanding! We had an emergency with our Springer beagle during the Covid wave and they took her in right away! We have now switched vets and both of our doggos love going now! Check out how happy Champ is to go get his shots today! I can't recommend Cody any stronger!

Loved it! Took good care of my dog. And they were so nice to us I sent my sister there with her dogs emergency. They are our vet now. Great, caring staff.

Stopped in on a whim fee driving by, desperate to find a place who could fix my little boy kitten, everywhere I've called is so backed up. They were so helpful, actually gave me an appt within a week but I casually mentioned I was disabled and recovering from surgery that's why I had lost track of time for my kitty, and Kelly was so helpful and told me about a program where I could get it done for free. They were just so nice and helpful!

What a great pet hospital. They always answer the phone, they are patient, they are caring, they provide realistic helpful advice. Also if you need to make an appointment they can actually get you in for an appointment in a few days as opposed to some other places where they have a few month waiting period. Also, during Covid, they let you go in with your dog as opposed to waiting outside in your car which can help if your dog has anxiety, as mine does. Highly recommend.

Critical: Quality, Reliability WOULD NOT RECOMMEND FOR EXOTICS. I took my rat here twice with a respiratory infection, over 200$ later & nothing is solved, I can now hear him breathing, I will be bringing him to another vet ASAP hopefully he'll make it to his next appointment. Very sad I trusted them.

Dr Pillsbury is an amazing Vet. I have been bringing all my pets here since 2004. Very knowledgeable, respectful staff who emphasize what's best for the animal.

SMALL DOGS ONLY. Small dogs I'm sure do fine here because they're easier to handle. My dog was 65 pounds, and I think his breed may have been frowned upon. But here's my story with a mid size dog. I've got a Pittie Mix that I took here a bunch of times. He's not aggressive in the slightest, but he is terrified of the Vet. Now when I think of a Vet I think of somewhere you can take your dog, and your dog will be safe and in comforting hands.

A vet should love animals, and treat them gently and calm. My dog was treated sort of like he was a jerk: - One time he was afraid to get his blood taken, so he was trying desperately to get away. No growling, no biting, just trying to crawl away. The Veterinarian was VERY annoyed and getting agitated and almost started complaining. So I felt kinda like I was putting her off, so to help I started talking to my dog petting him telling him "Hey it's ok Buddy, it's ok.".

The Veterinarian almost scolded me saying "DONT TELL HIM ITS OK HE KNOWS ITS NOT OK." - The next was post Covid, my dog was attacked by another dog. I took him to the emergency vet, he had a bunch of stitches. So Cody Pet called to check in and ask that we come there for removal. So when the time comes, I take him. I need to wait in the car, so I hand my dog off, and goes inside with the same woman who got made last time.

No more than 2 minutes later, she came out, yelled "No go!" Literally threw the leash my way and started walking away inside. I said "No go, what happened?" Her response, while walking in the opposite direction - "No go!". So I'm standing on their walk way looking at my dog with stitches in his ear with absolutely 0 explanation as to what happened. - The final straw was, I asked for a copy of my dogs records so I could show the town I just moved to that he had all his shots, for a license.

I sent them a message on their Facebook page explaining the situation, and asked if I could get a copy to show the town. No joke the message I got back was - "No." I feel bad leaving the harsh review because ONE of my dogs checkups was done by a younger Veterinarian and she was incredibly sweet. She talked to my dog and was scratching and petting him and giving him treats.

My dog never even realized she was giving him shots AND drawing his blood, she was that gentle and nice. But those experiences sadly turned me off completely, and more often than not I get the grumpier older rude ones.

Doctor Pillsbury misdiagnosed my dog who had a tumor in his throat and said it was a hairball, gave him a laxative and called it a day. His symptoms got worse so we took him to Tufts to get a second opinion and they said that if we didn't take him to them within a week he would've SUFFOCATED. I've never been so horrified. I would've found my dog suffocated to death on the floor from a tumor if I listened to her.

She also tried to push an arbitrary eye surgery for him to "widen his eyes" because she was convinced his vision would've been impaired in the future. It never happened. I wish I could give her a one star. Taking your pet here is dangerous. BEWARE.

DO NOT BRING YOUR ANIMAL TO THIS PLACE! The doctor is absolutely heartless and is all about the money. I brought my Yorkie there who needed a urgent refill on her prescription. She was nothing but rude and REFUSED to fill it. I brought her to Raynham Animal Hospital in which refilled it on the spot and could not believe that Cody Pet Hospital would not.

I brought my mouse there because she wasn't acting right and had really dry skin. They told me she looked totally healthy and called her cute and even took a picture for Facebook. They tried to charge me for a ten minute photo session and "nothing wrong" luckily I had never been there and got a discount. My mouse died not 5 hours later. First and last time I ever bring an animal there.

Called to have my Pet examined, not the first time as they had both my pets information in their system. The exam would cost $65, no problem, my cat needed a check up. The vet convinced me to go with the senior wellness exam, a series of blood tests to check his overall health. Again I have no problem paying $315 because it seemed like the best thing at the time. Results were overall normal with exception of his thyroid being a little high.

During the exam she asked if he had a rabies shot this year and I said no. She said she wanted to see about his test results before giving any vaccines, I agreed. The vet told me thyroid pills ran about $40, okay, if he needs it I'll absolutely buy it for him. I go back a few days late to pick up the pills they're 59.00 +tax. I don't complain it's not the receptionists fault.

Now my cat is doing much better, WITHOUT the thyroid pills I will add, he was just bored with his food so a simple change brought his appetite back. I call for his rabies shot the vet guilted me into getting and they tell me they don't give shots without an exam. Just to humor myself I ask how much an exam would cost when he was just seen and they tell me $85 plus $30 for the vaccine.

They had no record of him being seen and I politely said I still had the printout and receipt but they have a "no exception" policy for this type of situation. I'm sorry at this point I can only assume they're in this business to nickel and dime their customers and pin their emotions against them to upsell unnecessary services. You want a veterinarian who has compassion for animals and she simply isn't.

Competent, friendly and fair pricing. Initially started here when we adopted kittens they were the free place to go to get 'em "fixed". Made the switch from our usual Vet as I really like these folks!

Very disappointed in my experience with this vet. They were afraid of my dog (who has never bit anyone and I got him when he was 8 weeks old and is now 5). If you can't bring your nervous dog to the vet where else can you bring him?! Very unprofessional and rude. Also just got him testing for his stomach to look for any bacteria issues. Everything came back negative so I wanted to switch his food. I was urged to buy antibiotics from them anyways. It felt like a money scam to me. Why would you treat something that's not diagnosed? Switching vets IMMEDIATELY.

Cody Pet Hospital is absolutely amazing. My cat needed surgery and they went above and beyond to make sure he was comfortable at any time of day/night for the days after his operation. The staff is nothing but nice and I highly recommend this place to ANYONE. They are reasonably priced as well! I will be going here for years to come.

We have been bringing our family pets to Whispering Pines for ten years. Currently, we have two cats and one dog. Over the years, we have had appointments for well-care visits, sick visits, surgeries, emergencies, and terminal illness care. Through it all, we know that we can count on the staff to outline our options clearly coupled with their professional opinions to guide us in our decision-making, and to provide our pets with loving care.

During difficult times, our vet was always available to see our pet the same day, and she followed up with close communication through phone calls and emails for updates about our pet's condition. We have found their pricing to be consistently fair, and estimates received prior to procedures to be very accurate. The technicians are outstanding, and when we have needed to leave a pet for a hospital stay, we know that we can rest assured that they are in good hands!
