On 3.4.22 we took our 10.5 year old dog in for teeth cleaning and some x-rays. Although Dr. Manning didn't see anything on the x-ray that was concerning, we still opted to send them to a radiologist to have a look. On 3.7.22 I received a call from Dr. Manning with some "bad news". Our dog had a severe, inoperable tumor in her shoulder and she would probably only last a couple weeks.

On 3.26.22 we finally said goodbye to the best dog we have had. Between 3.7 and 3.26 I did not receive one single piece of communication from Wake Forest Animal Hospital or Dr. Manning. My wife called on two occasions, but there was never any outgoing communication during that time. I am so disappointed in the bedside manner of Dr. Manning. I am not sure how many terminal diagnosis your office has to deliver on a daily basis, but I pray that you treat other animals that have been your patient for a number of years with more care and respect than we received.

We will not be returning to Wake Forest Animal Hospital. To anyone thinking about bringing their animals here, I would recommend you look for other vet services, especially for older pets.

Always have a great experience here, my dog isn't the biggest fan but her fur parents are! I called in for flea/heart worm medicine and it was immediately ready. The employees are always friendly and welcoming, we moved a good distance away and will continue to bring our dog here because how much we love this place.

Nice professional service. Good clean facility. Price seems a little high, but they offer alternatives to obtaining medicine and you can build up award points

I will start off by saying my previous encounters with WFAH with my previous dog was amazing. I had brought in my new dog (English Mastiff) for an emergency visit on 11/16/2021. Our appointment started with Dr Manning, he was pleasant at first until it came time for a fecal test. I explained my dog could become anxious but means no harm (requested medicine for him prior to the appointment). Dr Manning requested we put a muzzle on our dog, he then became more anxious once the muzzle was on and was moving frantically in the room. Dr Manning tried to hold my dog still and started to scream at my 15 year old son "Don't just stand there and watch.

He is your responsibility" I stood there trying to calm my dog down and in shock. Once the test was completed Dr Manning lifted up from the floor and addressed my son once again stating "Have you ever taken this dog to an obedience class?" My son horrified responded "No" Dr Manning then said "Why in the hell not? This dog is a liability." Note, all this is being said to my 15 year old son as I'm on the opposite side of the room.

He proceeded to ramble on and on about obedience class etc etc. After I left the examination room I walked to the front desk to request to speak to the manager. Receptionist was helpful and accommodating. I then spoke to Cesar who was very kind and understanding. Once I left and had researched Dr Manning is the owner of the hospital, I then decided I would never put a foot in this place again nor recommend them as I have in the past. Dr Manning should be ashamed of himself.

We love WFAH! We've been going there since we moved to NC 9 years ago. We've taken our 4 dogs there at different times to see Dr. Manning and Dr. Mullin and we feel both vets are knowledgeable, compassionate, and truly care about our dogs. It's comforting knowing our dogs are, and always have been, in excellent care.

If I could, I would give ZERO stars! As we are still trying to come to grips and cope with the loss of our beautiful Ali after having her for only 8.5 years, we are trying to look back if there were any signs/symptoms that we should have noticed.and made our regular vet at Wake Forest Animal Hospital aware of, but there were none. A terrible cancer had been there for a while with no symptoms. Ali had surgery at WFAH on Thursday and died the next Tuesday .

The surgery at WFAH was minor with the removal of what appeared to be a just lipoma (we were told)on her left side.at this point we still don't know if it was just that even though it was sent out for pathology but nobody has contacted us with the findings. Ali seemed to be recovering well after the surgery, but started coughing on Saturday evening and by Sunday morning was at Blue Pearl Emergency Vet.

The devastating diagnosis was given to us on Tuesday midday of an advanced hemangiosarcoma. On Tuesday evening my beautiful girl had peacefully crossed the rainbow bridge. WFAH was notified of what was going on all along, but they never tried to contact us to see how she was doing or help us go through this horrible diagnosis. After all she was their patient.

We will no longer bring any of our dogs back to WFAH because we have yet to receive a call regarding what happened to Ali. We are painfully aware that the diagnosis was given way too late to make a difference, but ALL we needed was for WFAH to show a bit of interest/care as we were loosing Ali.

Critical: Professionalism The actual medical staff are fine, but I've never encountered more rude and judgmental receptionists. I've been here several times, and every time, the receptionists have a nasty look or attitude to give you. This is also the only medical facility that doesn't require at least their employees to wear masks. Do better.

Best vet's office around Wake Forest, hands down! After we brought our new puppy home, we inquired in a social media group about vets that people liked in the area. Then we started calling around to narrow down our choices. The difference when we called WFAH was night and day. Sweetest lady answered the phone (Kim), very professional, but also friendly and pleasant and excited to meet our new fur baby.

To be honest, she was the reason we chose this office. After taking our puppy for her first visit, we know we made the RIGHT CHOICE! Loved the doctor (Dr. Mullin), techs, receptionists - everything about this place. And the location is perfect for us as well. Stay awesome guys - your staff is the best!

They are the very best vets around. The most caring I have ever found. Dr. Manning even called us on a Sunday to check on our dog that had bladder surgery. Very kind and caring!

I had a last minute need for our pets records after hours to board him. They emailed the full records within minutes of the email request. after hours. In addition to that, their service is top notch in the hospital and treat your pet as if it were their own. Lifetime customer. Thank you!
