Was treated very well by everyone, Sophie is better bad back from jumping off everything! Hope the meds work Before forced to go to the band of thieves vet we use in Madera! Nothing is perfect because it's expensive to own an animal that has issues. It's cost us Over $10k plus our three papillons and some of the major costs were from an inept pet eye Dr in Fresno that cost after his botched eye surgery of $2,200 another $7,500 at Davis and another Fresno vet who moved us there and both told us the Fresno surgery was botched

Not the best place to go, if you know what I mean, BUT as far as Emergency Vet, the service was fairly fast. Staff extremely friendly and nice. Considering NO ONE ever wants to go to an "emergency vet" for anything but if you HAVE to take hour pet here, it's a good clean receptive place.

Quite pleased with the services and care given to our two, large dogs (on 6-12-22). Professional, attentive, and friendly in all regards. My first experience with an emergency vet setting and really, it was no different than a human hospital.people crying, speaking softly to each other/staff, immediate relief being seen, etc. I'm thinking easily, that this staff is that of 'unspoken, invisible' heroes and our thanks and appreciation are profound.

Please do not bring your pets here. I went in for an emergency visit for my border collie husky. He was projectile vomiting, dehydrated, blocked up, and just lifeless overall so I brought him down. I sat in the waiting room for 30 minutes before anyone even came to the counter. Long story short, it was 4 1/2 hours in total before they even took him back to look at him. Again. my dog was lifeless and I was carrying him at this point.

They took X-rays and found out that he ate a rock. The X-rays and exam alone were $1k and they quoted me $8k for the surgery. They told me I had about two hours or so before they had to begin or he would not make it and they would have to euthanize him. I called Waterhouse vet and they got him in right then and there, gave him fluids and told me to come back in the morning for surgery at less than half the price.

My dog is perfectly fine and happy now. It absolutely TERRIFIES me that they gave me that deadline of two hours when all he needed was fluids to get him through until he could get the surgery the next day. I would not trust 24/7 pet vets with the life of a fish.

I should of read the reviews before coming here but when your animal is sick & your vet can't see you you just go to the ER well I waited here for over 2 hrs Ive called around and everyone is busy so I have no choice but to wait. I get they go by emergency but there seeing dogs with ear infections while mine can't see and is just laying here hardly moving wth.

I think they need to get their priorities straight not to mention the people that work here look like they are still in school and there rude. So please do not bring your pet here

It is honestly a hit or miss when you take your pet here as far as what to expect. A couple of the veterinarians I absolutely love while others should have chose a different profession. When my mother's dogs were attacked, they were wonderful, especially with one of my mother's dogs being epileptic. When we had to put our dog, Bubba, down last year, they were amazing, the veterinarian was compassionate and waited until not just I was comfortable, but Bubba was to. However, when our other dog, Larry, had to be put down just two months later, the veterinarian was far from nice and made it that much harder for us. Still the only emergency vet in town that I would go to.

Understaffed. Had a father and a son in the waiting room for longer than I was there (45 minutes) and their kitten they brought had died while they waited the 6-8 hour wait to even be seen. I've never had a problem getting in and out with my prescription but today was a poor example of their establishment and should definitely look into hiring more people. I ended up leaving without my prescription for my dog due to having work. Very saddening after giving such praise to this establishment.

I have been bringing all of my dogs to Dr. LeAnn Dumars since the day she opened her practice. When She built and moved to Pet Medical Center & Spa. I wouldn't have considered going anywhere else have I had 6 dogs all rescue that have been their patients over at least 35 years. I'm disappointed & broken hearted that Dr. Dumars has retired.

The vet techs are amazing but the New Vets are good but certainly not the quality I expect. The prices have gone through the roof - literally! Not nearly as accessible for patients. The office staff attitude has plummeted. The once considerate staff is now very curt and not at all compassionate. I literally just talked with them 0--compassion. I finally asked to speak to the office manager as the young lady I had been speaking with made me feel like I was annoying her & she truly was abrupt.

I apologized that I had bothered her. Office manager was to have called me in just a little bit. 4 hours have past. NOTHING! Bottom line. I'm done with this practice and completely sad. If you have a spare $1,000. Go there.your pet will be very well taken care of just don't expect anyone to take care of YOU, be prepared to have LOTS of $$ in your ATM.

TERRIBLE! I took my dog there to put him down because he was old and dying. He was old and his time was up. Well they put him to sleep and I wanted him cremated and I wanted his ashes back. Of course they wanted $600 so fine I payed. They said it would be about two months. SoThree months go by and I never heard back. I finally called and they said it would be a few more weeks.

Fine I waited and nothing. I walked in and they gave me the run around that he was at the pet cemetery so I called and they lied he was not there they didn't know where he was they LOST MY DOG! Two more weeks go by and they found him in the freezer. So another two weeks go by and I finally had to coordinate everything with the pet cemetery so four months later I finally got my dogs ashes back. Anyways I thought I would maybe get an apology or maybe even a discount but nothing. Take your pets somewhere else!

I went to this place in a panic when my dog had what seemed to be a seizure and when I arrived her breathing was labored and in need of immediate assistance. I checked in and waited for about 30 minutes before the clerk finally said she would get us in a room shortly. Well that was far from the truth. We sat and waited for another 45 minutes and another woman came in frantic needed help with her cat that also had labored breathing.

The clerk went outside to help bring the cat inside and the cat was rushed to the back. Another man came in with his Dog and her puppies and was immediately asked for his payment so that they could check in and be seen. The difference between me and them is that I am BLACK and they were WHITE! It's sad to say but this was discrimination at its finest and I must say on another level.

I walked outside to get some air and waited to be called but nothing it was almost as if we weren't there. If your BLACK don't take your pets to this location because clearly there is Priority for others.

My German Sheperd has a growing mass on his chest and was bleeding out. Blood everywhere. Was 8pm finally got called in 3 hours later went into the examination room and waited 2 more hours just to have the vet look at him for 2 min while my dog is still bleeding out leaving trails of blood everywhere in the room. I'm talking POOLS of blood. At this point its a miracle how my dog is even moving around. Waited another hour to give me a $4600 bill with no payment plan. They have no sense of urgency whatsoever. Don't come here if it's urgent.

Unfortunately, I had a terrible experience here. Everything was so nice until I talked with the vet. The employees were very nice and helpful not only to me, but others that came in. I didn't mind waiting either, as there were other animals who were in way more critical condition than mine. Anyways, like I said my problem was with the vet himself.

He was incredibly rude to me and completely disregarded why I came in. My cat has FIP and was treated for 3 months by a different vet and was not in my care, then released back into my care after his blood work cleared. So, I had my cat back for one day for the first time in 3 months and he wasn't feeling well. Quite literally just sneezing and coughing.

I just wanted him checked out and get on some antibiotics. This vet was talking terribly about the vet I took him to, the vet that saved my cat's life I will add. When I tried explaining more about my cat he told me to stop talking. He insisted my cat relapsed and tried to charge me $850 for a full blood panel and get a X-ray. Even though he had blood work done yesterday to be sent home.

He tried to get a hold of my other vet, even though I told him it was her day off, to get the blood panel results. I left after that and took my cat to a different vet. He was just impatient, rude, and misogynistic. I hope he doesn't talk to his staff the same way he did to me. Surprise, my cat ended up just having respiratory issues and got put on antibiotics.

Despite my grief, I want to write this as soon as possible so I don't forget how much appreciated the staff and services here. Late Wednesday night we rushed our beloved Alex cat here. Unfortunately, he passed away on the way to the facility. We had called on our way to let them know our cat was convulsing and we were en route. When we arrived, they immediately buzzed us in the locked door.

There was a sign on the door stating masks required. When I said I thought Alex had already passed, they whisked him away to confirm and showed us into a room. I cannot express how much it meant to not be left in the waiting room (there were a couple people there waiting on their pets). You don't think about those things ahead of time, but looking back in it, it's the first of many considerations they gave us.

Throughout the hour or so that we were there, the doctor, assistant and receptionist treated us with so much care and understanding of our grief. I am really grateful. Our Alex was a loved member of our family and these people understood that. We knew to come here because at the start of the pandemic, my mom and I brought her sick cat here and we received good care with detailed instructions and information for her vet during regular visit. They definitely follow COVID protocols so be prepared to mask, social distance, limit persons who can accompany your pet, etc.

NEVER TAKE YOUR PET HERE. it's a money gobbling machine full of idiots. The "vet" was an imbecile who diagnosed my dog with a sprained back, which would not show up in an x-ray but insisted on them despite that fact plus had diagnosed her with conjunctivitis. How does an x-ray have anything to do with an eye infection. He also did blood work, which came back perfect but ordered gabapentin, a stool softener, and an antibiotic. Idiots, TOTALLY idiots. Plus the doctor barely spoke discernable English and had food stains all over his scrub top. GROSS MONEY GRUBBING A-HOLES.

*DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE* I hate this place. I would report them to the police if I could. Dog came in last night. Dog was checked for bloat. He was xrayed. We were required to give an $850 deposit prior to treatment without seeing our dog. We did. Then the vet tech gave us a $3500 estimate for treatment. One of the estimates was $600 for "miscellaneous" like wtf?!

We were told our dog was fine but Vet wanted him to stay the night, which was $3500 (with an array of other treatments + the $600 for the miscellaneous). We decided to not keep our dog there. We signed a doc that said we were going against the Vet's advice. NO DISCHARGE PLANS. NO MEDS. NOTHING. Next thing we see is our dog gets rolled out on a roller, he was not responsive, not walking, tongue sticking out his mouth.

The Vet tech says, "Oh he just doesn't want to stand right now." This was NOT him just not wanting to stand. Dog gets loaded into car. I have to carry him/drag him into the house. My wife and I are freaked out and scared the entire night. We get dog to regular vet this morning. Here is the kicker. Vet says dog was given a dangerous amount of sedative and the mixture they gave him was extremely dangerous and potentially deadly. Furthermore, the regular Vet says the $3500 treatment plan included more sedation meds. It could have been deadly to keep him there for the night. I am beyond mad. Please do yourself a favor and take your dog elsewhere. DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE.

Super grateful for a 24/7 hospital! Staff is very warm and welcoming. One my pet passed away at home, I didn't know what to do. I called them and they received me with arms opened. They helped me take care of my beloved fur baby's body, explained the cremation process, and gave me the respect and condolences my heart needed. Please people be understanding that this is an ER; you will wait long hours and they see patients on a critical-status order. If your pet is having a minor allergy or non emergency concern, I would suggest to take your pet to their vet the next day.

Want to thank the staff at 24/7 Pet Vets for the quick and caring service for our pup who had an allergic reaction to something unknown. All the staff was professional and clearly stated all costs and services that could be provided. Fortunately the IVs helped end the reaction and we walked out with our fur baby less than two hours later. Thank you to all at 24/7. Appreciate your commitment to our four legged children

Came here because my dog was being lethargic and shaking. Paid $850 for them to hook her up to an IV drip then they said they need another $1200 to diagnose her and they wanted to keep her overnight and they would call me at 8am to tell me the diagnosis. I said ok they kept her the night. I recieved no call in the 8am so I had to call at 10am to ask what was going on.

A few hours later the vet called me and said he couldn't figure out what was wrong with her and that he wanted to keep her another night for another $2400 and he said I know it's expensive but this is the world we live in. Couldn't believe he had said that. My dog passed away later that night. I wouldn't bring your pets here. All they cared about was the money and they made that very clear to me. Don't go here!

I have a Cat and a Cat and a Cat That aren't getting any younger. So If I lose one, it doesn't hurt so bad.anymore. Yeah, I will complain about it. I'm home with my cats 24/7. On the flipside, The vet sees my animals for one fleeting moment Out of their lives, and I expect them to get it right the first time? The darndest things that Vets say.

If I were to sit back and think of all the things that Vets said that didn't make any common sense, I would still be connecting the dots and nothing would get accomplished. All this trial and error comes with emotional and financial pain. It clearly says so in teeny tiny print on my cats birth certificate.

First time going to this place and let me just say it was absolutely WORTH IT! Doctor and Staff were soooo professional and caring! they treated my puppy ( Laydi ) with so much love. They were so gentle with her & also took her in fast! They kept me updated at all times. They also answered ALL my questions very nicely. Angelina was the person who i spoke with and she was very kind. thank you so much for your help

Someone should tell them that pet owners can hear them through the door joking and laughing that patients don't have enough money to save their pet's life. Besides the fact this place charges 2-3 times more money than other vets. This place is truly awful. They in no way care about pets, they only care about your bank account. The staff is unbelievably rude.

They insisted on doing tests my main vet just did a week before. Then told me I was wasting their time (when my pet was the only patient there) because I was looking over the price estimate and refusing redundant tests. That I should just tell them how much money I have so they don't have to waste time printing another estimate "that I am just going to refuse". (They had only printed the two page original estimate) Then immediately left the room and loudly laughed and joked about my financial status.

The nurse got very rude when I pointed out that half of the multiple thousand dollar estimate was listed as vague "injections" and "miscellaneous". She said if I didn't agree to the whole estimate they wouldn't do anything. When I pointed out that a CT scan of an irrelevant body part on my pet was included she just said that it's a package deal and non-negotiable.

When I was resolute and said I didn't want their frivolous tests because my main vet had already done them, and that I only wanted one therapeutic measure to be taken the nurse seemed really annoyed. The male doctor was nice enough. But the short heavy female nurse/receptionist was beyond rude. I only caught a glimpse of the other tall heavy female employee.

But I did hear her through the wall coach the other on how to try and get the most money out of me. Then laugh and joke when she heard I didn't have thousands of dollars the waste. TLDR These vet office is run by heartless vultures, they do NOT care about pets. They only want to emotionally manipulate and price gauge you.

Went there because my 51/2 week old, hand-reared kitten was bleeding rectally. Explained the condition several times to several different people. (I'm not talking blood in stool. Im talking all dark red red blood no stool) it took 2 hours to get me into a room but only 20 mins to take my exam payment. After another hour of sitting there waiting to see a doctor.

I took my kitten and left to someone who would help. The only thing nice I can say is everyone was polite and they refunded me my money. However, this was a critical matter and I sat there for hours with no concern or help for my animal. For a place that is supposed to be there for these things. You guys failed.

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST. There seems to be no sense of urgency with their employees. Expect to pay Double the normal vet cost. They tell you 3 hours wait, 7 hours and $1200 later to finally be told they were going to just give her a shot of steroids. $1200 for just a shot. They will rip you off and it seems the are more concern about the money then your pets health. Turns out they gave the wrong medication to my pet.

When I took my pet to my normal vet for follow up they told me that the medication provided wouldn't have helped her condition. Trust the reviews and go elsewhere if possible. I'm not sure how anyone could have a positive experience here

I had a great experience here. The staff and doctors were amazing, efficient, and moving as quickly as they could. They took great care of my Frenchton puppy. We came in about 9pm were in the room by 9:45 and left at 12am. There were about 4 dogs ahead of us but I thought the turn around time was fairly quick! Once we left the lobby was filling up! I don't recommend going in past 12am because their lobby was getting full.

My dog was coughing like she had something in her throat, they got me in fast. They were so friendly and nice! They were transparent about the costs. The vet was so sweet! She really made an effort to care for my dog. She tried playing with her and let my dog lick her face, it was so cute. She was amazing. Also I was so surprised at how clean their facility was.

I was skeptical because it is not on a good side of town but it was SO clean. Hopefully I don't have to go back again but they were so sweet. The front desk gentlemen was very very nice too. 10/10 recommend.

Hard working and dedicated staff. They are compassionate and kind. I had to take my dog in and there was a bit of a wait which is to be expected. They bump emergency cases to the front of the line which sounds not great but if my pet were having an emergency I would appreciate that. They are doing their best regardless of covid causing staffing shortages.

My dog was supposed to stay overnight but they called me after her surgery and said I could bring her home. I was so grateful to the staff. They were also very honest about pricing and options. They really are an asset to the community.

If I could I'd give it 0. Brought my dog in because she has bleeding open wounds, needs stitches, and antibiotics. They keep saying they are going to prioritize critical pets first! Update: now 10 pm saying my baby hasn't even gotten her wounds stitched because they have been backed up with other pets that's she is just on pain medications and will begine her procedure at 1 or 2 in the morning. This place is a joke. Never bringing her here again.

Brought my 12-year-old border collie mix here who had been getting progressively sicker for the last week and it was clear to me she was needing emergency care or she didn't appear she would make it through the night. We came in at about 6:30 pm, and the front reception area took her into the back immediately and they were very nice. The doctors on duty were compassionate and caring and I could tell they didn't like telling me her prognosis, which was not good as it appeared to be bone cancer, and she was clearly in a lot of pain and going downhill with the temperature at 104 and a very high heart rate.

Because she had no or little chance of a recovery they recommended humane euthanasia, which I agreed to. They let me stay in the room with her while they gave her the shots and I was able to say goodbye to my sweet friend that has been with me for 12 years. Staff overall was very kind and the only reason I removed one star was the price was over $1,200, which seemed odd considering I'd had x-rays and tests at another veterinary clinic just the day before, and I brought all the paperwork with me from the previous examination, so I couldn't understand why I was being charged for essentially the very same tests again that weren't necessary.

It is frustrating how so many veterinary clinics in Fresno seem to price gauge and upsell the clients, especially in a town with such a poor economy with many, many poor people. $1,200 seems high for an outcome of a dead animal. But it is what it is.

I honestly don't know why this place gets a bad rep? They checked me in immediately and took care of my fur baby right away. The receptionist were immensely helpful and kind, took the situation right into their hands and got my puppy the help she needed. Receptionist with the curly hair was a total delight, sweet girl. Of course the treatment was a pretty penny, but honestly, so long as they helped my puppy and got her feeling well; the price doesn't matter.

By the way, she swallowed a small plush cat toy and they fished it right now. Induced vomiting. They even let me keep it! Lol. Definitely keeping a better eye on her. Regardless, both the vets and the techs were amazing and I am so grateful towards them. They were simply amazing!

I have taken all 3 of my pups to 24/7 Pet Vets. And each of them received the absolute best care. It is busy at times. It's an EMERGENCY facility. But the staff works tirelessly and professionally. The doctors are amazing. One of my pups had acute pancreatitis. 24/7 Pet Vets kept him over night and kept me updated. It was touch and go, but due to their expertise and care he pulled through.

They SAVED his life. That same little fella developed a tumor on his spine. They referred me to an oncologist in LA. Again they SAVED his life. Can't say enough about 24/7 Pet Vets!

I came into this vet around 7pm last night and had waited about two hours. They service critical patients first which is more than understandable and although I could not be seen due to an emergency surgery (very sad) the staff was more than amazing. Within the two hours that I was in the office the young man at the front was the most attentive that he could possibly be to each and every person that came in.

He also made sure to dedicate the extra care and compassion to those who had to say goodbye to their pets. Seeing this was both heartbreaking but heartwarming because I could only hope for vet staff (especially an emergency vet) to lend out that type of empathy in such an unfortunate situation. Overall I definitely would come back to this vet if ever needed and if you're looking for a positive experience in unfortunate situations you can count on 24/7 pet vets.

I came here about a month ago during night shift and it was packed after waiting 2 hours I finally left because I didn't realize it would take this long. Also you cant just walk in you have to be buzzed in but theres NO RECEPTIONIST AT THE FRONT. Several people have had trouble coming in. Back this morning 8 in the morning no other person is here. (IT STILL TOOK 5 HOURS.) The entire staff is in the back, and the one nurse you see pass by every 30 minutes or so MAKES IT A FACT to not make eye contact, or speak to anyone. SUPER UNDERSTAFFED & DOESN'T COMMUNICATE.

My husband and I just moved to California when our pup had her first litter. It did NOT go to plan and our girl Velveteen ended up hemorrhaging into her abdomen through her ruptured uterus. When I left her for overnight care and surgery, she was lethargic and not acting like the Velvet I knew. Since her care, she has fully recovered and is being a wonderful mama to her pups.

The doctors, techs, and receptionists were all so wonderful. It was such a whirlwind of emotion and fear for our girl's life, but they took the time to explain things and give us updates. Without the skilled staff, Velvet wouldn't be with us today. The names I remember are Dr. Kennedy, Dr. Polly, Dr. Shaw, John with finances, and Jessica at reception, but everyone I interacted with were so helpful and gave my girl the best care possible. Thank you can never be enough.

Absolutely terrible service. I've taken my dog here once before and was charged $500 for two stitches. It had to be done there was an open wound. They did pretty well with my dog so I trusted them enough to go back. Today my small puppy began to exhibit signs of poisoning while I was out of town so I asked my partner to take her in to be checked.

Five ours later they had still not seen our dog. Not only that, they refused to even see her until we called (and paid for) the pet poison control hotline plus charged us another $65 on top of that fee to have us wait in the car. She was showing signs of dehydration before they were told to wait in the car. The puppy began to vomit (in the car) and I told my partner to go to another emergency vet.

They saw her immediately and were very concerned that she wasn't seen immediately and given fluids. She was extremely dehydrated by the time she got to the other vet. She wasn't drinking water and had thrown up multiple times. If my partner would have waited here the puppy would have died in the car. I will not go back to this place and I would definitely recommend against it.

On top of the clear lack of care my partner said that the woman at the front desk was extremely rude and kept telling him that the dog was fine. We know now that the dog was absolutely not fine and it's unprofessional and unacceptable to have a receptionist make this claim without examining the dog at all.

Please, please do not use this "Emergency/Urgent" Non-Caring facility! I wish I would have looked before coming in, I learned my lesson & my poor babies paid with their lives! I'm an AKC breeder for the past 20+ yrs. I think that puts me at above average knowledge of animal husbandry. We arrived at 9pm with 8 puppies. By 2am they had examined 1 pup, only running parvo test.

The staff was so lax a daisy it was extraordinary. I let them know that they came from a parvo free, with zero exposure to outside dogs, that we had lived on for 20yrs. I stated that I thought it was a very fast moving, aggressive acting coccidia, brought on by the heat & 6wk deworming. Before walking the 1 puppy in the door it was a $1000. By 2am it was estimated at $3000 for the night& then they would start working on the other puppies!

They made me sign a release with the AAHA Accredited Standard of Veterinary Excellence - 12575 W. Bayaud Ave., Lakewood, CO 80228 aaha@aaha.org 800-252-2242 - just in case someone else needs to know! We arrived at our vets the next morning at opening. Just as they walked them in the 1 that 24/7 worked on passed. They admitted 2 more & start IVs, & fecal testing came back positive for coccidia.

They started remaining puppies on proper medicines but because of 24/7 lack of care & over appreciation of money I lost a total of 3 precious babies. Here are a few pictures I took less than 5 days before needing to visit 24/7.

We came here due to an emergency. Our dog was attacked by another dog. He needed emergency surgery. They were so sweet and helpful. But as everybody knows health care for dogs is very expensive. But they were there for us and I'm grateful. Thank you guys so much.

They are expensive and you should only come if your pet has an emergency because they will see the pets from worst to best condition and they're always open. You can tell that they do indeed care about your pet and the doctor I met seemed like she really cared and knew what she was doing. The nurses are very helpful too and they can even refer you if needed to somewhere else if your pet is stable.
