We have an onsite pharmacy to provide the majority of the medications that are needed for our patients. Conveniently, there are several pharmacies within a short distance from our clinic. So if we need something for your pet that is not on our own pharmacy shelves, we can write a prescription and easily get the medication that is needed to treat your pet. When your pet is sick and needs lab work, we want to know the results immediately. That's why we have a complete in-house laboratory that allows us to run the tests necessary to diagnose your pet so that we can effectively treat them.
Dr. Reid started the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Center in 2004 with the intent of providing quality surgical and medical veterinary care for area pets. She has seen her business flourish as it has become established in the community. She started in the veterinary field as a licensed technician, having graduated from SUNY Delhi and worked in private practice for 6 years and at the Rosamond Gifford Zoo for 6 years. In 1991, she was accepted to Cornell where she obtained her DVM degree in 1995.
