These doctors saved my boy's mouth! He had juvenile Hyperplastic Gingivitis and now it's super controlled and he stands a great chance of growing out of it. Awesome doctors, they do the best work and are very kind. Good pricing for veterinary dental work too, and they work with pet insurances and you to make claims easy. 100% recommend!

First impressions matter and unfortunately, customer service is not a strong suite of this office. I have contacted this office via phone over 10 times, leaving three voicemails, and written one email in a matter of 3 weeks. I have received one return phone call 7 business days after my initial voicemail, directing me to contact them back via phone to schedule.

I understand this location is booked through the summer, but please be transparent with your potential patients and customers instead of providing a poor customer experience. This will not go unnoticed through online communities and word of mouth. This was a highly rated animal dental services but I would not recommend this business to a friend.

Veterinary Dental Services emphasizes the "Services" part of their name! Highly recommended for the care and kindness the showed me and my family. Sadly, my cat Violet was diagnosed with stomatitis and needed all her teeth removed. VDS met with me did an exam and would have scheduled the extraction for a few days later, but I wasn't ready to go forward with what seemed like a drastic option.

A few months later, Violets mouth hadn't made any improvements despite all the in-home care we tried, so I called to schedule the extraction. They did a great job working with us. Right away they told me that they would contact me about 2 weeks out with details on preparing the cat, and a call the day before with final instructions on fasting (Violet needed general anesthesia).

On the day of the procedure, we showed up and they walked my daughter and me through the procedure. The technician, Jordan was kind and friendly, and put both of us at ease. They called us mid-operation to tell us how it was going and to confirm that all teeth needed to be removed. At the end of the day we returned to pick up Violet. They had a sheet of instructions and required medications for us. Jordan was still there, after a nearly 10-hour day, and still cheerful and helpful.

She walked my daughter and me through all the post operative care, showed us pictures of Violet's mouth both pre- and post-operation, then brought the cat out to us. On the second day after bringing Violet home they called to check in. I hope I never need their services again, but if I do, I will not hesitate to call them.

They are the most professional service we have had our dogs treated by. There isn't a step they take without completely explaining it to you. They also have a quality control aspect that I have never seen from any vet service we have been to.

They did dental work that my adopted dog needed. I'm very thankful, but they mutilated some skin on his head, a burnt bubbled skin/burn moles. They said it was "an accident or something", and asked me sarcastically if "that would be okay(?)". If they had spent 15 more minutes getting to know me, I'll bet they would have been comfortable with me and would not have marked him like that. The proceidure was during Covid pandemic, but the doctor could still have waved at me from inside the facility. I never saw her face.

Absolutely AMAZING staff at Veterinary Dental Services. Our dog has struggled with Veterinary appointments in the past due to some bad initial providers, and his level of stimulation and anxiety can go through the roof. The staff there are incredibly patient, understanding, and flexible with their game plans to support dogs coming in. They made Bruno's appointment very manageable, and go way smoother than expected. I cannot reccomend their staff enough!

This speciality hospital is absolutely amazing! Dr. Shope is compassionate and brilliant and at the same time, down to earth and easy to talk with. The other staff members including the other vets, technicians, and receptionists are friendly and professional. For anyone wanting to know if dental specialized care is worth it, IT IS! Dentistry for animals is complex and requires highly skilled professionals who keep up with advances in care.

Their medical and surgical equipment and imaging abilities are astounding! For pet owners who have veterinarians that don't love dental procedures or are confronted with oral issues "above their pay grade", this is the place for you! Also, their prices are extremely reasonable and very, very worth it!

Dr. Ogden and her wonderful staff had squeezed my little dog Buddha in for an emergency appointment for an infection in his ears and on his paws. Thank Goodness for Dr. Ogden! She was sooo nice and soooo thorough! We didn't feel like she was rushing at all! She was recommended to me by Dr. Cornejo at Tuft's in N.Grafton and boy did she have it right! My little guy is already feeling much better! Thank You Dr. Ogden, Kaley and staff

The facility here is unbelievable, it is gorgeous. And I have no doubt they would have the capability to perform. I even have heard multiple great reviews of them. When I brought my dog in for a consult, I decided to go with my regular vet for the dentist cleaning because I felt the cost of this cleaning was exasperated for the same services and quality.

I even felt as though the anesthesia type they were using was worse for my 6lb dog. The doctor cut my visit short because she had other clients. I did not "feel the love" at my consult.

Will update after services, but be warned of a six month waiting list for needed services like root canal. Edit: Saw the vet. Very professional. This place is expensive but you pay for exceptional quality.

Critical: Value I just called.my vet was 300-500 for a full cleaning and X-Rays. this place wanted $1300-$1500 for a cleaning.$200 for a consultation. I don't need a consultation. I want it done.just not in the ballpark.

I searched long and hard to find a Dental Vet to look at my Ava's oral mass. Dr. Shope was wonderful to us, giving a very clear explanation of possible surgery, care, cost, outcome. She could not have been kinder, I think she might be an angel underneath her labcoat.

Excellent dental care and helpful staff. Worth the extra money for our senior dogs to have a safe anesthesia experience.

Well it was an introductory visit that went very nicely. I'm confident, after speaking to the Veterinarian, that we came to the right place. I'm trusting my Yorkie to have a procedure performed at the end of April. I feel confident she will be treated well and with great knowledge. I was also given a couple of scenarios that could possibly occur during the procedure which I'm pleasantly surprised to hear. So I'm staying positive for my pet and our new Vet and her team. I took my dog, Bruce, here to have a strange defect in one of his teeth investigated. The team was exceptional and he was so we'll cared for! He didn't want to get in the car and leave his new friends afterwards! I highly recommend them if your pet is in need of advanced dental care.

5 month old golden retriever retained baby tooth extraction on Feb. 24, 2017. Invoice: 429339 I didn't want to take any risks having my dog 5 month-old Golden Retriever's retained baby tooth extracted. So, I chose Veterinary Dental Services "few and far between" specialty practice and a one day event given the facility is 52 miles from home. I trusted in reasonable fees - given a policy of no fee quoted prior to in-person consult.

In hindsight, I was setting myself up for unnecessary expense and a full day away from work. COST: $1614.37. By comparison: a local vet quoted me $800 and Boston dentist $1k-$1,200 for a porcelain-fused-to-metal crown. Pet Insurance is no relief: Embrace Pet insurance covered a total of $60 (paying $390 for a wellness policy). Wow - that's an awesome fee for pulling a baby tooth from my pup. SERVICE EXPERIENCE: I was asked to arrive at 8:45 a.m. sharp (left my home at 6:30 a.m. to make it) to find there was another procedure scheduled before hers.

My pup was kenneled until early afternoon and I lost a full day's work for the 12 minute actual extraction procedure. Surely a 3 hour window for my pups care would have sufficed. My bad for not insisting on a range of service fees for the procedure. I ended up paying an unreasonably high bill for services other professional vets offered closer to home at a reasonable price.
