Proformance Canine took excellent care of my dog for TPLO surgery. Dr. Huss explained the procedure and gave detailed recovery care instructions. The staff provided excellent communication. We never felt like they treated our mix breed family dog any different than their higher profile patients. She is now 6 weeks post op and walking a mile a day.

Thank you to a great Doctor and wonderful staff for making my dog get better. Everyone was so patient and kind through the process.

Rebel had ccl surgery and the dr and the staff were incredible, they informed us of everything going, answered all our questions, and when my boy let them take him in with out us, I knew he was in good hands, if he trusted them I knew it was going to be a great place

Had an excellent experience here. Dr Huss has tons of experience and handled my 4yo dog's TPLO surgery with ease. The staff were super friendly and knowledgeable. They had an answer to every question and we never seemed tight on time. A huge positive for me was that each phone call - even off of office hours - was answered right away. With a dog healing after such a serious surgery it was nice to know that any need could be taken care of quickly.

Dr. Huss and the office staff are professional and friendly. They are always ready for explaining any questions and providing the best options. My dog was hit by a car two months ago. After that, we visited the clinic of Dr. Huss. He immediately arranged the surgery. Now our dog was completely recovered and is running with us all day. Thanks, Dr. Hussk for your great work.

We found Doctor Huss by asking friends and colleagues and he comes highly recommended. I find him to be extremely talented, nurturing and down-to-earth, and has a sincere love of helping animals. You would think that would go for all people involved in veterinarian pursuits. Not so. This hospital and this doctor stand out and you should feel comfortable bringing your precious love to him.

Dr. Huss' knowledge, experience, & availability were all reassuring to me when my Willow needed Orthopedic Surgery. The follow up care and the friendly staff were outstanding throughout her recovery! Willow is doing great - she loves running, wrestling, & swimming with her sister.

I was referred to Proformance Canine and Dr. Huss after my Peek a poo Lucy started limping on her hind leg. It was determined that she needed to have TPLO surgery. Dr. Huss advised that it was possible she would need the same surgery on her other hind leg in the future. Dr. Huss and the rest of the staff set my mind and fears to rest by explaining everything that was going to happen in the surgery and aftercare. They made themselves available for any questions. At Lucy’s 2 week follow up appointment, Dr. Huss advised that while Lucy’s leg that she just had surgery on was healing, she did in fact have to have the same surgery on her other hind leg once her current leg heals.
Lucy has since had both surgeries and is healing quite nicely. I want to note that every time I called the office, the staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I was a very worried momma at times and they treated me and my dog with such compassion that I never felt that I was annoying them with my concerns and questions.
I really appreciate everything Dr. Huss and the rest of the team at Proformance Canine have done for Lucy.
