This is my first and only vet I've used since I moved to Dallas two years ago. These people genuinely care for both you and your pet. I bring both my dogs here frequently, and no matter why I am there, I am treated with respect and compassion. These people are absolutely awesome professionals!

I have been taking my dogs here for years and wouldn't think of going anywhere else. The most caring and competent clinical staff in Dallas, and the best customer service of any vet office I have ever seen. They are also very honest and have never tried to push services that my dogs don't need just to make money. I would highly recommend Katy Trail to anyone looking for a vet.

I love this clinic for my cat, Miso. We had a free first visit here after adopting from the ASPCA over a year ago, and have had wonderful visits every time. When Miso was young, I would take him in for nail trimming that was $18 in between visits. Now days I trim the nails myself but take him in for any illnesses and his yearly visits. He needs to be mildly sedated with Gabapentin before any exams or shots and the vets have been wonderfully helpful in talking me through that need and making themselves available for anything we need. I always get a personal call back from my vet the day after she sees Miso, just to check on him after his vaccines. This is a great location with great staff.

My oldest cat a surgical/exam/sedated grooming procedure with Dr Waller today. The prices were very reasonable compared to four other places I checked. I especially like that they review treatment options ahead of time. The center is also very clean front and back in all the years that I have been coming here with all my feline kids. Dr Waller has seen some through kittenhood, middle-age, senior years, and death. I felt very confident using Dr Waller and Katy Animal Hospital once again. Some of the front office staff can be a little surly/uncaring at times in person but don't let that bother you. There is big a climate change Katy Trail since the management change. Less warmth and customer attention "for every customer " but I am delighted the business has grown. The phone customer service is usually helpful and I've found their online appointment booking site easy to use. If you want quality care for any animal you love like family...come here.

I have never been so impressed with a business before in my life!

Normally, going to the vet is a traumatic experience for my dog. He's fearful of strangers and strange dogs, so obviously a veterinarian's office is a scary place for him. After moving to Dallas recently, I was wary about choosing a vet for my dog. I read the positive yelp reviews of Katy Trail Animal Hospital and decided to give it a shot. We were able to make a Saturday appointment (love that they're open on weekends!) to give my dog a quick checkup of his allergies. As I had informed them that my dog was fearful, they agreed to have him enter through a back entrance to avoid the waiting room with lots of people and dogs. Once we got into a room, the assistant was very thorough and kind. She made sure to be aware of my dog's apprehension and didn't push his limits (other offices I've been to have forced situations that made him uncomfortable).

Then the veterinarian arrived, Dr. Leslie Withrow. She immediately grabbed some treats and sat down on the floor, offering them to my dog but not forcing him to come towards her, while she chatted with me about him. Eventually he warmed up to her, and took the treats from her hand. After this, she asked my permission to take him in the back area for his exam. I agreed, though I was apprehensive. At prior vet offices, my dog has had to be muzzled due to his fearful reactions. When Dr. Withrow returned with my dog (and some tasty cheese for him), she informed me that he did great and didn't require muzzling at all. I was so pleased. They also took a super cute picture of him in a cowboy hat and bandana while he was in the back office, which was so cute! Nice "above and beyond" touch for sure.

The office was kind, understanding, and accommodating of my difficult dog from start to finish during our visit. I was so happy with how they treated me and my dog, and Dr. Withrow was thorough with her explanations of medicines and disease processes. I cannot recommend this office highly enough, I was so impressed and I will absolutely be back for all of my dog's veterinary needs!!!

I definitely consider this place 5 stars. Incredible bedside manners is great, but the "work" is equally impressive.

My dog recently went through general anesthesia for a comprehensive dental exam because it's been a few years since he's had a cleaning, and tartar was visible. I appreciated that the doctor called me to debrief what was done and that she was "on call" if anything was needed. I was impressed with their "take home" packet- great post-op instructions, anesthesia record and before-and-after photos. The sutures in my dog's mouth (he had a few extractions) were done meticulously, and there was no post-op bleeding. The areas where he had his IV placed and skin tag removed was not totally shaved and was unnoticeable. And added plus was that they trimmed his nails, expressed his glands, and also added a post-op photo from recovery.

I was also able to quickly stop by to get some sutures removed with barely any wait.

No complaints here.

Cannot recommend KTAH enough. Wonderful "bedside manner" by all staff. My dogs loved going here (could not wait to get through the door) whereas they had fits of anxiety any time I took them to their vet in Houston. Dr. Gloria Johnson was our primary vet; she and her team are absolutely wonderful. She guided us through one dog's early onset diabetes and the other's allergy problems and behavioral issues. Dr. Johnson was always patient with my many questions and truly felt like a partner in my dogs' care. On a few occasions we also saw Dr. Waller who was also fantastic. I've no doubt that no matter who you see here, your furbaby will be in great hands.

Not only is the staff kind, but they are extremely organized. Always ready for us when we arrived, and it's so helpful that they check you out in the room your pet is treated in. As for pricing, I never felt I was overcharged; I'd pay again and again for the level of service and care we received.

Best vet ever! We started with Mandy Waller, who is exceptions, but every vet and staff there is incredible! Gentle, sweet, understanding, and accommodating.

We needed a quick vaccination today and they did it just on basically a drive-in basis. There are several other exceptional things that they have done over the years, the calls after hours checking on our pets being one. I would give them more stars if I could!

I just remembered her name, Dr Burgin is amazing too!

We took our new puppy to a vet prior to this one that scarred me for life. Katy Trail Animal Hospital turned this around for me - they made us feel so comfortable and taken care of. Dr. Burgin even had to do a test with follow up and she immediately emailed our results when ready first thing the next morning. She also filled the prescription needed to treat and advised that we could come by when we were available to pick it up. So easy, so kind and exactly the type of treatment us a new pet owner needs but also for our new pup!

Friendly staff that genuinely cares about you as the customer and your animal.

There is a reason they have such solid reviews - they deserve it. Who hasn't had their fair share of vet appointments over the years? Before coming to KTAH, I got to the point where a vet appointment to me meant a quick consult, a temp check, a few questions asked and some vague answers. Not to say other veterinarians aren't compassionate about animals, but I was SO surprised at how much energy and compassion KTAH had in answering my questions and giving real responses.

I took my dog in after he had a few days very low energy and an unusual upset stomach. Dr. Cox was incredibly kind and reassuring. I am usually skeptical of any high cost, quick recommendation, but took Dr. Cox's suggestion for an X-ray because I didn't get the sense she was trying to order something unnecessary and didn't feel pressured AT ALL. As we were wrapping up she promised to follow up with a call the next morning (which she followed through on) and then went even further by calling me every morning (including on her days off) until she felt confident my pup was feeling great. I could tell her concern was very genuine during each call and she answered each of my questions confidently.

I am relieved to have found someone we can trust.
