Dr. Hiland and Brie saw my 66 pound mutt today. They are always caring and gentle, and did such a great job with my nervous pup. They had great advice for her storm anxiety issues and took time to answer all my questions. I didn't feel rushed and knew we were in good hands! They are friendly, kind and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this team!

I told them I thought Buprenex I used for 72 hours caused my cat to become lethargic, very drooly, and have many sores in his mouth which werent there when I initially went. They said that was rediculous. I told them the FDA and NIH came out with reports in 2022 stating oral-liposomal Buprenex causes dental decay and abnormal bleeding. I was told the cat had calici virus.

They did dental cleaning and antibiotics/ steroids and other meds for his mouth, $870. None of my others cats got sick. I said I don't think it's calici. Calici is very contagious. They said they can't help me and asked me to stop calling. When I asked another vet to call to get the records they have, they said they didn't know me. Real professional. It was a misdiagnosis I was told by another vet. He had TMJ and needed an adjustment, $120.

Very helpful when my baby boy, Charlie, was throwing up! I brought him in (he's a pitbull/greyhound mix) and the staff LOVED him! He got to be a ham and got every single pat they could give. He came home perfectly fine. I was kind of over reacting when he harfed up his breakfast, but Charlie certainly didn't hate the trip. Wonderful experience and they did give me some anti-nausea for him. I wonder if they make every creature feel this special? Just a lovely experience.

The staff at the desk is always amazing and accommodating. Dr Locke, especially is knowledgeable on a variety of animals and in tune to your budget constraints without sacrificing the level of pet care. Vet Tech Sara is also top notch and caring!

I have been using this veterinarian for years and today I was made to feel very uncomfortable by an employee because I question some testing. Customer service does matter

I didn't appreciate being lectured today about how to treat the staff when I did not mistreat them in the least. I'm paying them and trusting them with my dog and the vet tech that misunderstood my questions about the invoice today, really pushed me away from this place after Dr. Hiland accused me of being rude. Had to check in with them today about our appointment because no one had confirmed that I was marked in the schedule.

Didn't want to show up and be turned away because they say I didn't confirm that I was coming. If I have a question about what I'm paying for and I ask, "Does he really need another exam after the first two visits? He's just suppose to have a distemper shot and rabies." She said yes and I agreed to the cost before she took my dog inside. One, I don't appreciate being told to reschedule if I'm as much as 15 minutes late and they expect me to wait 15 minutes longer when they're running late.

That's ridiculous and number two, to think my dog should have a stack of vaccines in one visit to me is ridiculous too. I didn't appreciate the fact that they charged me extra for clipping his nails on the first visit when I could've clipped them myself and they put that service on the invoice after his visit. Had to communicate my concern with them over that.

Took our pup in for a first visit here just yesterday. I just want to say how amazed I was with how they took great care of my dog, he tends to be extremely difficult when going to the vet but he took to liking the veterinarian that helped us immediately. They were prompt, polite, very informative, and just an overall pleasant experience. I would definitely recommend Trickum Ridge to anyone!

We are so grateful for the kind and caring staff at Trickum Ridge. Dr. Farrar genuinely cares and she and her team have gone above and beyond to accommodate our very anxious pup. They have even noted what foods our dog likes to help calm her down during the visit. We feel like we're in great hands there.

While traveling our aged dog became very ill and it was obvious she was destined for the Rainbow Bridge. Our family member had personal experience with Trickum so we called and they arranged for our sweet pet to be seen almost immediately. The veterinarian, a young woman whose name I don't remember, was so kind, caring and informative. The support staff was equally caring and no one made us feel rushed even though they fit us in their busy schedule. It was an awful situation that Trickum made as comfortable as possible.

My dog Max walked in to get his teeth cleaned and walked out with a spun out of control infection (which was caused by the procedure) after paying almost $1000. Now he is dead!

Max had 1 (one) loose tooth when I brought him in. Dr. T. however pulled 12 teeth without getting back to me asking, if this ok. Pulling more teeth means more money for her, which is the reason why she pulled that many teeth.

Very obviously something went wrong during the procedure. Max developed a massive mass on his neck directly after the procedure. No antibiotics and steroids helped. She later on did an ultrasound on his neck. She said: "I don't know what this mass is. I can't even tell you if this is the lymph node." This is pure incompetence! It is clear that something really bad went wrong.

A vet at another clinic was shocked over the amount of teeth that were pulled and that I wasn't contacted before they destroyed his mouth and his life. I deeply regret going to Trickum Ridge Animal Hospital!
