Triangle Equine provides excellent services - both to horses and to their owners. My 25-year-old horse developed an ulcer in his cornea and Dr. Sally Vivrette and crew treated my horse at his home. We were afraid he would at least lose the eye, and because he had stopped eating and drinking due to severe anxiety while hospitalized, possibly his life.

How did they rate a 4.9 out of 5? I'll have to give them a 10 to even things up! I first met Dr Vivrette when she was on the faculty of the NC Vet school, where she taught a workshop on equine dentistry and made it more interesting, relevant, and fun than I'd expected. With my own horses I went through five other equine vets, dissatisfied with one aspect or another of their practices over the years, until I learned that Dr Vivrette had a private practice. She is the BEST and she hires the best to help her. We've never looked elsewhere since. I wish she could take care of all my animals. Or my humans!

I hired Dr. Sally Vivrette for and out of state pre-purchase exam. She was exceptional in every way- her office was helpful and communicative, did a great job getting all prior records and she performed an exam with diligence yet very pragmatically given the horse's background and intended purpose. We were very happy clients and I would not hesitate to recommend her again.

Triangle equine veterinary practice is awesome. The website clearly explained the equine pre-purchase exam (PPE), process and I felt well prepared for what was to come. Dr. Sally Vivrette did a PPE on two horses I had under consideration for purchase. She was thorough and comprehensive in her approach, meticulous in collecting information, clearly knowledgeable and experienced, and competent in the actual exam.

I was impressed with her professionalism and ethics during the process. She shared her observations as each exam progressed and explained the implications of each finding, letting me know if something was a minor issue or a game changer. She was client-centered taking into consideration how each horse might fit with my unique needs, my age and ability.

She was clear in the unsuitability of one of my choices and I know she saved me money and future heartache. And she was equally as clear when it was a good fit and a healthy horse! I was able to make a fully informed decision and am grateful to have found her and her team!

Triangle Equine is an excellent equine vet practice. There are few equine vets that care as much as they do. There number one concern is the health and well being of your horse. If there is an emergency they are extremely fast to get back to you. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the vets and staff. I highly recommend them. Kris Daniel

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Vivrette and Dr. Patterson! I appreciate their incredible knowledge, and ability to explain things to me. Their routine vet care is great, but I had a horse with back soreness even with a proper saddle fitting, correct riding and chiropractic adjustments. Other vets went to suggest injections or expensive procedures, where I felt like their knowledge of equine bio mechanics and easy solutions led to a pain free horse. Dr. Patterson does an amazing job of adjusting my horse on a regular basis. Lisa in the office is very responsive and patient.

I highly recommend Dr. Vivrette. She is highly professional, very thorough, attentive, and intelligent. Her thoroughness and diligence saved my horse's life in a situation where another vet had misdiagnosed the illness. We are very grateful to have Dr. Vivrette here in the Triangle and will remain loyal to her because she takes my horse's health as seriously as I do.

My horses have been under the care of this practice since it opened, and always will be. Without fail, Dr. Vivrette and every other vet who has been associated with this practice has provided compassionate, top notch care for every horse they've seen for me, regardless of the horse's age, value, or job. They kept my dressage schoolmaster happy and performing until age 27, and then happily retired until age 34, a pretty remarkable feat for a horse with EPM, enteroliths, damaged lungs, and one who was generally a neurotic, picky eater, hard keeper, difficult TB.

They kept my childhood pony sound and winning at shows until he died at age 30. Currently they are managing an incredibly difficult and rather fragile guy, who has Cushings, anhydrosis, insulin resistance, missing an eye, 5 bouts of laminitis, and arthritis - and at 20, he is sound and happy and still jumping, which I truly didn't expect would be possible for him.

They view themselves as part of your horse's healthcare team, and will work with your farrier and other professionals, and educate you, to help your horse reach his/her full potential. They are incredibly thorough - be prepared for biannual vaccinations to include mini physicals, reviews of diet, recommendations on shoeing, etc. I am a firm believer that this philosophy of care has caught numerous problems in my horses before they were really problems, saving me a small fortune over the years, and enabling my horses to have far longer careers and lives than they might otherwise have had. I could not be more grateful for the exceptional care they have provided to my four-legged children over many years.

It is difficult to put into words just how wonderful Triangle Equine Veterinary Services has been to me and my horses over the years. My relationship with Dr. Sally Vivrette spans over a decade. Her engaging, honest and compassionate approach to equine veterinary medicine had me hooked from the first day I met her. Not only is Dr. Vivrette a brilliant veterinarian, skilled in areas such as lameness diagnostics, equine dentistry and preventive care, but she is an active equine enthusiast and a skilled horsewoman.

I feel that this translates seamlessly into her vision and mission for Triangle Equine and really sets her apart from her competition. Dr. Kristy Moding joined Dr. Vivrette's team and I cannot say enough good things about her kind and understanding approach and sharp eye for performance horse issues. I can always trust that she will be thorough and follow up after each visit.

They have literally laughed and held my hand through many ups and downs with my personal horses. As a local equine professional, I am also proud to offer my clients the customer service and expert care that Triangle Equine provides. The TEVS team has been a crucial part of helping my amateur adult clients sort through training issues and find joy in the relationship they have with their horses.

I never question the value of the services and care we all receive. If you're searching for an equine vet to care for your horse's routine needs, dentistry, pre-purchase exam, lameness, illness or injury, and you want a unique experience and genuine relationship with your vet, Triangle Equine Veterinary Services comes highly recommended by me.
