Animal lovers. In everything we do, we believe in caring for every pet we see like our own and making a difference in your life. Even though she was all about horses as a child, Dr. Johnson loves and enjoys working with all animals. Dr. Hammons grew up on a farm in Limestone County. He became interested in veterinary medicine when his first pet became ill and had to be hospitalized. The pet survived, and the profession that provided the ability to help sick and injured animals became his goal to achieve.
We are proud to be an AAHA accredited animal hospital. AAHA is an animal health organization with a simple guiding mission: to accredit veterinary practices who demonstrate excellence in everything they do. From staff training to anesthesia protocols, and everything in between, there are approximately 900 variables that a veterinary practice must demonstrate excellence in through routine examination and inspection. Fewer than 15% of animal hospitals are AAHA accredited. We are one of the few. Because when it comes to your pet, only the best will do.
Boarding For Cats & Dogs While there is certainly no place like home for your pet, we work hard to keep your companion not only safe, but also comfortable during his or her stay with us. Our hospital is equipped to handle boarding needs ranging from day care services to overnight care. We also provide medical boarding for pets that require supervised care due to diabetes, surgery, and other health-related issues.

I've been in rescue and fostering on and off for years now, so it was a humbling experience when I was on the other side for once and lost my own pup yesterday. Thank God I had just registered her microchip, because I got a call from Town & Country saying they had her! One of the staff graciously scooped her up near dangerous traffic and took her in on the way to work.
I can't say anything about their services of course, but the fact that they scanned her and reached out to me within the three hours she was missing means a lot to me. The facility grounds is immaculate too. Super cute pet relief area by the parking lot, and the inside was beautiful. I felt a bit judged by reception when I first arrived because of my terribly disheveled and anxious state, and being a person for once that had a missing dog, but I'm just thankful for the young woman who saved her life most likely. I'm glad I got to meet her. Can't thank you enough. Register your pet's microchips!

I want to Thank Dr. Edgemond for saving my furbaby life, I found a knot under her neck about as big as a golfball and was told it was Cancer and she had two months to live. And Dr. Edgemond gave her Chemo and she is back to playing with her brother every day! Dr. Edgemond I want to Thank you from the bottom of my heart! Mersaydes is my furbaby, my best friend!

It feels like home whenever we go to either drop-off Maverick, get supplies or just visit. Maverick gets excited whenever he goes in sometimes pulls John through the door. The staff is friendly, courteous, and professional. It's well worth the drive (almost 2hrs) for Maverick to have a safe, happy vet experience.

Normally, I do not post negative reviews, but I am sincerely disappointed in this clinic & want to share my experience. My issue has been with with the main vet, Dr. Hammons. Although he appears to care about animals, he does not like to listen, nor is he empathetic. It is apparent that his concerns are focused on money generated. Suggesting surgeries & procedures that are unnecessary & overly expensive. Dr. Edgmon, at least, shows common courtesy in acknowledging different alternatives & suggesting the best option for the animal.
This office has lied on 2 separate occasions. I have been in customer service over 20 years & know how to treat people. Their staff is not on the same page. There does not appear to be good communication, their focus seems to be on appearances & not on authenticity. But, I suppose they are being led by example.

They are absolutely amazing. I have two sweet little foster kittens that showed up and that we are definitely keeping! I have never done anything like this before and they answered so many questions along with giving me other suggestions on helping them! I am very grateful because of the veterinarian and nurses!

This is a GREAT Veterinarian facility. The ENTIRE staff is wonderful. We are always greeted with smiles and friendly help. The staff at the desk takes special care to schedule times that meet our needs. The ladies that tend to our fur babies for long term boarding are absolutely wonderful. The veterinarians and nurses are friendly and caring. We leave there knowing that our two shelties have had the very best attention and care possible.

My fur baby got sick a week later after staying half a day at this facility. He started hacking cough and vomiting white foam a week later. Obvious signs of kennel cough. Facility denied it and didn't test him for it. If they even supposed to do that. My other dog i own caught the cough from him. Is experiencing same symptoms. Kennel cough is contagious and started showing signs 5 days later after being exposed to it. If you care for your puppy dogs do not leave him there. He will get sick. I'm still trying for my babies to feel better and keep giving them medicine.

They fit our cat in quickly for his illness. Despite our cat being hurt, he purred almost the whole time he was there. Everyone was so attentive to our Garfield. At every step of the treatment we were kept up to date and approved all procedures and expenses prior to them being done. Very knowledgeable staff. Wonderful Vet.
