Great vets, great technicians. Prices are also good. Don't bother showing up on time though. Generally takes 20-30 minutes past scheduled time to get seen. Still worth the care, but I wish they would improve their scheduling.

I really like and trust Dr Perez with my kitties. She's very friendly, seems to care and takes the time to show it, competent and thorough. Her advise has always helped my cats when they have been ill.

We are so grateful for Dr Vanwagoner. She has been our vet for nearly 16 years. Very knowledgeable, kind, compassionate and always willing to listen and is very patient with our questions and concerns. We trust her with our families furbabies! Our sweet Remi ( Remington) had to have teeth extracted this week. My husband and I were so upset. Because : 1 ) we have tried so hard to stay on top of his cleanings every 6 months and do dental care at home and 2) when we saw the x-rays and paperwork, he had to be in a ton of pain and that was heartbreaking to us! Remington is a demo dog for our son who is a dog trainer.

They have demonstrated dog obedience all over the valley spanning several counties. Remi is a rock star when it comes to doggie obedience, showing off skills and an overall 1 in a million dog. We have worked hard to integrate him into tons of situations and environments and each and every time he performs! Not only does he bring the entire family joy, he has blessed the lives of our sons young family working beside him.

So to think he did all this while in pain, speaks volumes of this dogs ability and character! Remi is 2 days post op and doing good. We are are grateful for the front office staff who have kindly answered our questions since the surgery ( after checking with the Dr ). The past 2 years have been hard on everyone and we are no exception. As a family we have had some hard and heartbreaking things to deal with. it brings us comfort knowing Remi was well taken care of, and we needed it as it was one less thing to worry about!

My Chihuahua is 14 and Sugar House vet has done wonders with her over the years - she used to take anti anxiety medication and no longer needs to when we go there. They do great nail trimmings and dental cleanings (where she doesn't have to be put under anesthesia). They also helped her tummy troubles and put her on a hydrolyzed protein diet. I'm happy with their services.

I've taken all my dogs to Sugar House for the last 9 years. They have consistently been thoughtful and kind, listened, worked with me and my budget and concerns, and most importantly loved on my dogs. Especially with my newest, I was really anxious about this last visit. She's not been very trustworthy around new people, environments, and other dogs, but the whole staff just loved on her and she soaked it up. It went so much better than I had hoped! Thank you thank you!

Great staff, clean exam rooms, unfortunately I have spent many hours here with my fur babies between normal checkups and having to say goodbye. When I did have to say goodbye the staff was so wonderful and patient with us. They gave us an unlimited amount of time in an exam room to try and say goodbye. It felt as every staff member came in and gave their condolences and to say goodbye and give her treats.

The staff is very accommodating with our dog that is not "dog friendly" and will either come to the truck or outside to let us know when a room is available. (I've had issues at different vets that staff didn't listen or care and put us and others in harms way) I think you may pay more for some things but over all it's worth it for the grade A care we receive.

We have been coming here for a few years now to see Dr. VanWagoner and have her treat my 3 cats and dog. She is the kindest most caring vet you will ever have. She really takes time to listen to you and help with your concerns. The office staff and the vet techs are great as well. They are on time and get you to a room quickly, and are helpful with scheduling appointments.

Not to mention they are very friendly and are always trying to keep the pets calm and happy. After trying many vets in the past, I can say for sure they are the best, and I will never go anywhere else.

Dr. Perez was just fantastic. Gentle, thorough, and compassionate. The techs were also very competent and patient. The visit went beyond my expectations! I am so pleased and excited to bring my furbaby back in for her check ups.

My son, puppy (Lilly), and I had a great first visit with Lilly's new veterinary team. Dr. Van Wagner took time to get to know Lilly and answer all of my questions. Her staff are very polite and knowledgeable, too. I am so glad I was referred to this clinic.

Our chihuahu's teeth had been neglected for quite a while (he is a rescue). We were unsure how many he would need removed. Dr. Perez kept us updated throughout the whole experience and made us feel secure that Stevie was receiving the best care. The staff were very professional and I recommend this practice to all my friends in the area and will be returning for Stevie's annual check up. Thank you Dr. Perez and Sugar House Vet Staff!

My best friend recommended me this place and before I can even make me first visit I got a call from her this morning telling me that her dog passed away. Says the Vet prescribed medicine that was too much for his weight class so he overdose and has left us today. Says she's having a hard time getting them to take responsibility and provide help during this tough time they had caused.

Very disappointing to hear as I want the absolute best care for my companion. Upon reading other reviews seems like they are coming for your money without the truest good intentions for the best care of your companion

Sugarhouse Vet Hospital has been the go-to place for my dogs for years! Their kindness and caring has been particularly wonderful when one our our dogs has reached his/her end of life. If we have problem that needs to be taken care of immediately, they are there. None of this, " We don't have an appointment available for X-number of weeks, but you can bring them in to the emergency clinic for an additional fee."

I have a 15 and 12 year-old shih tzu. The Doctors that take care of them are wonderful, the kind that will call me to see how they're doing. Wonderful place!

I came here with a very scared little stray kitty and both the Vet and tech were amazing with her. They were very gentle and did everything they could to make both of us comfortable. I've adopted semi-feral cats in the past and the vet visits always ended up being pretty awful for all people and animals involved. This experience was by FAR the best I've had in terms of stress and wellbeing of the cat. Would definitely recommend!

We recently moved to Salt Lake City and I was concerned about finding a vet for my elderly dog (16 years old). I made an appointment at Sugar House Veterinary Hospital with Dr Nett-Johnson. My dog and I had a wonderful experience. Everyone was really kind. Sawyer (my dog) was showered with love and attention. Dr. Net-Johnson was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. I am so happy that we found such a wonderful place to take care of Sawyer.

The clinic has a friendly and very helpful staff. We followed Dr. Van Wagnor to this clinic after years under her care. The time we have left with our little Thor is closing in due to kidney disease that has gone into stage 3 kidney failure and the staff and Van Wagnor have really taken the time to answer any questions that we have and to help us understand the situation better.

I couldn't imagine going through this with any other vet. She is very caring, knowledgeable, and attentive. Thank you for all your care throughout the years and for the years to come.

I highly recommend Sugarhouse Vet. Dr. Perez was kind and compassionate in dealing with my very frightened cat. Amazingly, Dr. Perez was able to do a very decent exam while said cat was hiding under a towel. Great recommendations that will actually work. Other staff members with whom I interacted were professional, helpful, and kind as well. 5 star experience!

Sugar House Veterinary Hospital has always given me and my cats (Patches, Zuka, and Yum Yum) excellent service over the years. Dr. Barton and now Dr. Edgar have always been caring, gentle, and knowledgeable. They have treated my cats as if they were their own. They have always thoroughly explained what treatment was necessary and answered all my questions. The front desk assistants (Julie and Tracy) have always been courteous, caring, and efficient in the scheduling and checkout process.
