From nose to tail, you want a veterinarian that puts as much into the care and grooming of your pet as you do. That's the staff at Sugar Creek Animal Hospital. Since 2005, we've been taking care of your four-legged friends. Our goal is to give your pet the love he or she needs any chance we can whether we're handling a simple grooming appointment or something more complex.
Payment is due when services are rendered unless other arrangements have been made and received in writing prior to the time of your appointment. Estimates will gladly be given for any treatment or surgery. I agree to pay for any and all services rendered by the Sugar Creek Animal Hospital at the time the services are rendered. This constitutes the entire Agreement of the parties and no changes will be valid unless received in writing, signed by both parties.
Here at Sugar Creek Animal Hospital we believe in treating each animal holistically, which is why we offer a pet grooming service. While you may think of dog grooming as a pampering session for your pooch (it is!), pet grooming also has health and wellbeing benefits for your furry friend. All dogs can benefit from our grooming and bathing services, particularly long and medium hair breeds and our treatments are nose-to-tail luxury. Aside from making sure your dog looks its best, grooming helps to keep your dog feeling healthy.
At Sugar Creek Animal Hospital, we understand that you want the best possible care for your pet- and that you want it right away. That's why we've developed an in house lab that lets us run a full array of tests to help diagnose nearly any issue. It's clear that many illnesses and medical conditions that affect our animal companions cannot be detected on the surface of the skin.

I brought my puppy to a different vet, but wasn't impressed with them. So, I brought her here for her second round of shots. I'm glad I did! The staff is friendly and helpful. Dr. did a thorough exam of my puppy and was very informative and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this office! Bonus: It smells great as they burn pet odor candles! Update: 3 years later and I still love this office. Dr. Ricky and the staff continue to be the best!

Best vet I have ever worked with! I'm a professional pet sitter and have 5 cats of my own. Sugar Creek has been amazing. I can almost always get an appointment within a day or two and they are very prompt and efficient when I'm in the office. The Dr even trained me on how to give subQ fluids to cats so that I could expand my services. They've been very flexible when I need to pick up products for clients who have special needs.
The whole staff clearly loves animals and even my scardey cats have a great experience. Would reccomend this practice highly to anyone in the area or beyond- they'd be worth a bit of a drive!

Nothing could have made it better than it already was. The staff is ALWAYS so willing to engage with you, no matter what the circumstance is. They are also always giving pleasant and sincere customer service with a genuine smile. And Dr. Ricky, Bryce, and Danny are just a dynamite team. Additionally, they are all very knowledgeable about an array of questions you present to them with regards to your pet and never say, I don't know.let me call you back.
That is especially appreciated when you are really in need of assistance and advice. Lastly, unlike other experiences I've had, Dr. Ricky is always willing to give over-the-phone advice versus encouraging you to always come in, so that he can bill you for a short answer concern. Again, most appreciated. I highly recommend this practice for as long as they keep this in tact, professional, and friendly environment just the way it is, so that we, your customers, can continue to enjoy the service and the warm atmosphere you all have created it to be.
This is why I travel all the way from Loganville, and bypass other veterinarian hospitals to visit and patronize yours. Thank you for giving me years of opportunities to value and share my opinion.

I have been going to Sugar Creek Animal Hospital for years, and I would never consider taking my fur babies anywhere else. Dr. Ricky truly cares about his furry patients, and I always know my dogs are in good hands. I have been taking my two cats to Sugar Creek since I moved to the area 5 years ago. We have used their boarding, grooming, and vet services and every experience has been amazing. This past Monday I called the second they opened to have my 15 yr old cat looked at and they were able to fit him in no problem. Dr. Ricky gave me a call after the initial exam with his suggestions on next steps to run a few more tests.
After the tests were back, he called again to talk everything through and what needed to happen moving forward. Dr. Ricky even came out to the car to talk to my husband when he picked up our cat. I appreciate all the technicians that helped my baby feel better and I appreciate Daphane and Dr. Ricky for making me feel better! I recommend Sugar Creek to anyone in the area because everyone at this facility really does love your pet as much as you.

Fantastic Animal hospital! They are currently operating via curb side assistance but came right out to the car and took care of us the moment we pulled up. The 2 techs I worked walked my pup inside and were great at providing information. Right before I left Dr. Ricky Van Matre came outside to meet me as I am a new client - He is super friendly and informative. I decided to go with Sugar Creek due to them accepting my "Pet Assure" pet insurance, and I couldn't be happier!
