Services
Your pet is an important part of your family, and when he or she is ill, you want the best medical care available. Preventive veterinary care is the cornerstone of keeping your pet their healthiest so that you and your pet can have more great years together. Vaccinating your pets annually helps lessen the spread of infectious diseases throughout pet populations.
In order to maintain our high standard of service, we require that payment be made at the time services are rendered. We provide estimates for all surgeries and hospitalizations. If you have not received an estimate, you are welcome to request one at any time for your expected charges. Stonyridge Veterinary Service is happy to accept Cash, Major Credit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover), and Scratchpay. We proudly offer payment plans through our preferred partner, Scratchpay! Scratchpay provides simple and affordable payment plans for pet parents.
Preventive veterinary care is the cornerstone of keeping your pet their healthiest so that you and your pet can have more great years together. Since pets age more quickly than people do, it is critical to have regular physical examinations every 6-12 months to assess your pet's health. Annual age-appropriate lab tests, testing for heartworm and/or tick-borne diseases, and fecal tests for parasites may also be recommended for your pet.
Vaccinations are important and should be updated regularly to prevent diseases than can shorten the lifespan of dogs and cats. Vaccinating your pets annually helps lessen the spread of infectious diseases throughout pet populations. Some vaccinations don't just protect your pet, but they can protect you too.

The staff is very friendly and attentive. Our puppy was having an issue and I stopped in without an appointment. The veterinarian came to the lobby to talk to me and give me ideas to solve the problem.

Dr. Young was excellent with answering our questions. And guiding us through our problems with Rex. We also were able to purchase a nice urn that came with a mold of his paw print. To remember him .

I wish I could give this place 0 stars! DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE! They killed my cat! Dr. Eisenberg left and the doctors here now are horrible. $1000+ and they couldn't find out what was wrong with my 1 year old siamese. And after spending so much money here they would not take her in for an emergency euthanasia when she was suffering. I had to take her to Troy animal hospital who also said they couldn't believe they wouldn't take her.

There was so much they did wrong during her appointments miss diagnosing, forgetting to take her temperature. They just give you anti biotic and send you on your way. By the time I decided to go to another vet it was too late for my sweet girl.

Brought my guinea pig in today for a suspected UTI. When Dr. Eisenberg took her out of her carrier, he held her by her neck until she screamed. She had never made that noise before. He ended up pulling a huge clump of her fur out. Then I asked for him to trim her nails, and he clipped two of them way too short and they bled. Being a vet, you should absolutely know how to handle animals and know how to trim their nails.

He didn't even give us pain medicine for her, knowing she was whimpering in pain when she peed. Our poor baby was so scared and stressed after this visit. This was my first time coming here, as my regular vet was out of town, and this will definitely be my last time.

When Covid restrictions prevent you from being in the vet's office with your injured pup, the calming and understanding phone call from Dr. Young made this dog mom very relieved. She took great care of our Boston Terrier, Daphne after her neck/spine injury. I can't thank her enough.

Stonyridge has been our Vet Office of choice for many many years and we have had multiple animals have to be lovingly put to sleep. Every single time, we have a very good experience. From the Receptionist all of the way to the Vet's everyone serves with love and excellence. Today, we had to put down our sweet 14 year old pug Rosie as she was out of the blue in crisis.

Everyone and Dr E. we're simply amazing. Dr E. was booked solid but, Jodie worked us in and we are so thankful. Thank You all from the bottom of our very grateful hearts. RIP Rosie girl! We love you so much and we miss you!

Dr. Young is great! She is so caring with each animal and human customer! She clearly explains each option and how it will affect the animal and offers an estimate of the cost to the owner. She has helped us keep family friends, (pets) for a little longer and then given us sound professional, compassionate advice as to end of life issues. She has also saved the life of our daughters cat!
