Visit us at our sister hospital, Stonecliff Veterinary Surgical Center at 58 State Street! Stop in for a quick self-serve bath at SAC on Mechanic Street! Our self-contained room has everything you need to keep your pups sparkling clean and smelling great!
Stonecliff staff members are required to attend continuing education seminars every year to stay up-to-date with the ever-changing veterinary field. We practice with our hearts and our minds, and all patients are treated with respect and gentleness. We frequently have veterinary specialists visit the clinic to provide additional services.
Stonecliff Animal Clinic of New Hampshire is committed to providing you with excellent care at a reasonable cost. Our hospital is primarily a wellness clinic. We provide routine comprehensive care such as vaccinations, counseling on age related issues, and minor injuries and illnesses. We also perform more complicated procedures such as fracture repair, knee surgery including TPLO, and other more intensive operations. We know the cost of veterinary services can be daunting. We do everything we can to make it affordable to everyone.
As a new client of our hospital in Lebanon, New Hampshire, you can expect our full attention to your pet's needs. When you arrive for your appointment, you will be greeted warmly, and we'll usher you into an examination room after checking in your pet. In most cases, one of our veterinary technicians will start by asking about your pet's medical history, current condition and the reason for your visit, gathering data for the doctor. One of our veterinarians will then examine your pet, ask you further questions and may recommend diagnostic tests if needed.

My review is a reflection of the COST of services. A fecal test is $98, compared to $19 at my previous vet. An exam for a health certificate for a fully vaccinated foster dog shouldn't cost over $200, not including preventatives.

I brought a nine week old puppy to their office in New Hampshire for an echocardiogram. I waited for four hours they took the puppy in and 20 minutes later brought him back out and said someone would be calling me later in the afternoon after all the dogs were done with the cardiologist and give me the results. I have a forever family waiting desperately to hear what's going on with this puppy and so am I.

It's now almost 7:00 PM no one has called me with results. That is unprofessional and I am really really unhappy. Not to mention I paid over $400 to have the cardiologist do the echocardiogram.

Compassionate care for our sweet little buddy whose life ended suddenly and unexpectedly. While our loss was deep we were supported by all the staff at Stonecliff during and after our fur baby's decline.

When my kitty needed to be seen urgently, they were able to squeeze him in the same day to be cared for even though he was a new patient to the clinic. Our normal vet's office couldn't even do that. In fact, out of the 5 clinics I called, they were the only clinic that offered to help my kitty. AND they provided excellent care and he's all better!

I am moving back abroad in August and am having to do paperwork for Gus the naughty miniature dachshund. :-) Dr. Kelly and Kate are amazing--caring, kind, patient and professional. Dr. Kelly's willingness to take me and Gus on as new patients (at the last minute) is so appreciated. This year with COVID has been super difficult (as it has been for everyone) along with the loss of my mom in February. I can't thank Dr. Kelly and Kate enough for their support with getting Gus ready to travel. I would give Stonecliff 10 stars if I could!

When our dog of 13 years passed unexpectedly, stonecliff was able to offer a private cremation and gave us his ashes in a beautiful wooden box. They also gave us a paw print and a beautiful card. I highly recommend this animal hospital.

I will never come back. I brought my puppy in for a wellness check up last year and was concerned about a possible bladder infection (he's a puppy, yes, but there were worrying signs). They said he was great. Brought him back a week later with blood in his urine to check AGAIN for bladder infection. Got a call a while later saying he wouldn't stop bleeding from the blood draw they performed, they couldn't scope him from the bleeding risk and I needed to bring him to SAVES for clotting disease tests.

A total of $1300 later to find out Stonecliff sliced him so bad during their blood draw that it took a while to stop the bleeding. No clotting disorder. But, he did have a 'raging' bladder infection. Not only did Stonecliff slice my puppy so bad to mistake their negligence for a clotting disorder but they missed a very obvious infection.

Amazing first experience that keeps getting better and better! I loved that the vet was able to talk and give me options and talk pricing before anything was done. I love how she talked about what she wanted to start with first as a concern and work down the list. I felt Dr. Eastman truly listen to my concerns and helped me feel more comfortable with the sudden changes in my dog.

As a new patient, I am so impressed with this clinic. My new kitten had a mysterious "thing" on her neck. I thought it might be a tick but it seemed odd to me. I called and was seen within 2 hours for the emergency appointment. Turns out it was right to bring her in. They diagnosed her with a flea larvae. Something I had never heard of! She was so well cared for and I was so glad that they knew what it was and were able to take care of it so quickly.

Their curbside service is very reassuring. The vet techs come and meet with you while you remain in your vehicle and take great care of your pet. The vet calls to consult after seeing your pet and then acts on your decisions. I choose this place based on reviews and the found out my coworker who is very devoted to her pets uses this clinic as well!

So glad to have the peace of mind of a local clinic that cares so much for the animals, knows their stuff, and is able to accommodate many schedules and emergency situations.

I cannot say enough good things about Stonecliff. I am living in town for only a few months for work and my cat all of a sudden started acting weird. I called in a panic and they were able to get me in same day. Fast forward, my cat needed a procedure that I was not expecting or planning for. He had something wrong that other vets had missed and was probably going on for quite some time.

Everything was thoroughly explained to me multiple times, because I was so overwhelmed and so concerned. They reassured me that he was in good hands and I was able to drop him off knowing that he was. I wish I could remember everyone's names, but unfortunately I can't. Everyone was awesome, and if we were living here permanently, we would be back! Beau the cat is feeling much better thanks to the great team at Stonecliff!

I love this animal hospital! They really care about your animals and the staff are so nice and knowledgeable. I previously went to another animal clinic where the veterinarian was not well acquainted with her microbiology and frequently overlooked some serious pathologies. I know this because 1. I'm a scientist, and 2. Stonecliff offered me a second opinion and their remedy worked!

It is very clean here, and very comfortable. They call and follow up and when my old man kitty passed away, they sent me a condolences card signed by the staff who saw him. They really got to know him too. So personal here, top notch service!

We needed a new vet for our dogs after moving to the area. Where to begin... The experience from the initial phone call to paying the bill was OUTSTANDING! The vet techs are genuinely caring and nice. The Dr. took his time with us, explained everything, gave honest advice and didn't try selling services we didn't need. When they were totalling the bill, we gave each other a look, because we were dreading the total. WOW were we surprised!?!!!!

I highly recommend signing up for their rewards program. It seems like a big expense, ($105)- but it more than pays for itself. The office is clean, inviting and so comfortable. We are so relieved to have found such amazing place!!!!!

I'm so happy to have found Stonecliff. Shortly after moving to Lebanon, I was looking for a vet for my 2 cats. I have had great vets in the past and it matters a lot to me that I feel the vets care about my pets as much as I do. I definitely get that vibe with the staff at Stonecliff. I first brought one of my cats, Kodi, here as a new patient after he was vomiting for a couple days with no apparent cause.

The care and follow-up to ensure Kodi was feeling better sold this vet for me. I brought back my 2 cats when it came time for their annual exams. They have a membership program as well that gives you 2 free exams per year (one for each cat in my case - win!) which I signed up for since it actually cost less than the 2 individual exams for my cats.

You also get to earn money for every dollar spent toward future expenses, and a portion of the revenue from your payments are donated to their Brutus Fund - a fund for pets whose owners are experiencing financial hardship and can't afford treatments. I recently brought Kodi in for a dental treatment as well and was nervous as this was the first major operation either of my cats has had, and the staff were extremely reassuring and comforting and called me when he was out of his surgery as well as the following morning to see how he was doing.

That being said, the dental surgery was more expensive than I could pay at once and they suggested CareCredit to me, which is a credit card that they accept that allows for 6 months of no interest payments, which allowed me to pay for my Kodi's treatment in a way that didn't require dipping into savings. I never feel pressured to purchase a certain product or that they are pushing unnecessary services on me during my visits, as I've experienced at other vets and truly feel they have the animals' best interests in mind. I'm so lucky to have this vet in the area and highly recommend them!

Stonecliff Animal Clinic practices the best medicine in the Upper Valley, hands down. As a medical professional myself, I can honestly say that I am so impressed by the knowledge, skills, integrity, compassion, and kindness displayed by the staff at SACNH. The veterinarians are top notch, very thorough, and take all of my concerns seriously. I am a self-proclaimed "crazy dog lady" and am quite picky when it comes to care for my dog.

I won't take her anywhere else! I have worked with Dr. Dundon, Dr. Eastman, and Dr. Kelly and they are wonderful vets and people. The vet techs are kind, efficient, and always very helpful. I could go on and on. This place is the best!

I want to thank the staff at the SACNH.I took my little dog for the first time to their clinic they couldn't do much for my dog he was very sick at the time of arrival.I have to say the care and the compassion from the staff to the doctor that took care of him was amazing they do their job but in the same way they have a great heart and you feel that your pain is their pain too. .I want to thank you all for your dedication for the kindness you offer to me and my husband that day and for help us to make that choice that is so difficult to do when you love your pet like we love our *Chance.*.Now i have a bit of his hair his paw print and some ashes but the biggest thing I have of him is the happiness and the 14 years he spend with us giving us unconditional Love.I miss him dearly but he's out pain and young again at The rainbow bridge looking after us!...Thank You from the bottom of our hearts!

My review is on the lower side because I'm reviewing Dr. Kelly and Dr. Little. Dr. Kelly is a 4 while Dr. Little is a 1. Dr. Kelly is great: knows his stuff, great demeanor with pets and owners, calm, good presence, doesn't tack on services for kicks. One time with Dr. Little was more than enough: She admitted to not reading our pet's chart beforehand and prescribed the same treatment plan Dr. Kelly did at our last visit 1 week ago. Also, she wanted to prescribe some "minor" medication before the etiology tests came back.

No thank you! I understand she is new but that's no excuse for the care we received. I worked at a general hospital and the homeless people got better care. Also, while the support staff are nice, things seem a bit disorganized. There are dog obedience classes, which is convenient.

I brought my much beloved Abyssinian cat for my first visit to Dr. Eastman and her team when he began to manifest symptoms of being unwell on May 16, 2018. She delivered the bad news that he was suffering from advanced renal failure with gentleness and candor. She offered sound advice and did not try to sell me potential remedies that would not work.

The technicians I worked with on subsequent days to learn treatment procedures were patient, understanding and informative. Alas, my cat only lived on for eleven days, but when he died the whole crew was thoughtful enough to send a card of regret. I have had two conversations with friends whose pets were also treated at Steonecliff, and they were equally effusive in their praise for Dr. Eastman and her team.

I am planning on getting a new Abyssinian fur baby in the near future, and you can be sure that his care will be under their supervision for what I hope will be a long time to come. I cannot recommend these folks highly enough!

I took my dog Jasper to them for the first time. Their whole staff was excellent! From the time I set the appointment by phone, till the reminders that I received after our appointment via email, the customer service and care that we were afforded was world class. Thank you!

I have had dogs for many years as well as different vets. Stonecliff is by far the best Animal Clinic I have ever used. Excellent care and service from everyone. The doctors, techs, and staff. When I lost my Joy and had to say goodbye at Saves, Stonecliff contacted me to tell me they could take care of Joys remains at their clinic which made it so much more personal for me during a very difficult time.

I have had questions with a new puppy and the doctors always take the time to listen and provide me with the information I need. This is so important as we all know when our pets are our kids. I am so thankful for the blessing of Stonecliff Animal Clinic of New Hampshire.

I had a Bald Eagle attack my beloved Indian Runner Duck Beatrice. I called to see if they treated ducks and they said to bring her right in. When I showed up the wonderful woman (I don’t remember her name) was waiting at the door for me and grab my pet and rush her right back to be seen by Dr. Daniel J. Kelly. I cannot say enough about Dr. Kelly.

He is nothing short of amazing. Dr. Kelly and the staff treated my duck like someone would treat a family dog. I’m very grateful for this place and I without a doubt will be going back for my other animals from now on! Thanks again Stonecliff Animal Clinic.

I have taken my cat, Penelope here twice so far and Dr. Kelly has been great. Although her problem is a tricky diagnosis, Stonecliff is doing all they can to get to the bottom of this. Excellent service. They really care about our furry friends!

Love Stonecliff, even if my pup hates it. My poor dog gets so anxious when going to the vet and everybody at Stonecliff does an amazing job winning her over every time. Never once felt like they were up selling me with unnecessary procedures or meds, which is important to me. They really do treat you and your fur babies like family

I have been a long time patient mom and when the clinic moved I stayed at the same location rather than traveling. I, unfortunately, had recent events happen creating a reunion for ortho surgery needs on my 8 year old boxer mix. I am so happy to see nothing has changed and Stonecliff is the same upstanding place it always has been times one hundred!! Love the staff and of course Dr. Kelly as well! Best service ever!!
