I highly recommend this veterinary office. Everyone was so caring and supportive. We really feel like our pup got the best care possible. Dr. Rosen Was very thorough and took the time to explain everything to us. The staff was so friendly and nice to us. They took excellent care of our dog.

I have been a client of South Wilton for over 25 years. The team here is very professional and caring. They have saved the lives of some of my pets and helped me say goodbye with dignity to others. Dr. Rosen is my primary doctor for my pups and Dr. Shunk cares for my birds and they are both outstanding! I highly recommend this hospital.

I took my Uromastyx lizard here for a swollen foot. We decided amputation was the best option and it was! His foot had a growing (but benign) tumor that was slowly destroying tissue as it grew. He is recovering well and seems none the worse for wear thanks to the vets at South Wilton!

I'd like to start with good things first. Customer service was good, place is clean, communication good at the beginning. And that's where it ends. So, now for the bad. Our vet-dr. Rosen to be exact, ignores owner requests. She is very focused on all vaccines and products she can sell. I brought in a puppy for second parvo-distemper shot. They dewormed my puppy (although she had been dewormed 3 times before with the breeder and after receiving heartworm pill at home), and tried to sell bordetella vax the same day as parvo.

I politely declined and told her that I don't want to have more than one vaccine per visit for the puppy. She tried to convince me that it's a nasal spray (still a vaccine), but I said no. The next visit I sent my husband as I wanted him to meet our new vet. When confirming a visit with the receptionist two days before the visit, I told them that the puppy is coming only for parvo distemper shot.

I told my husband as well, no other shots besides this one. So right after the visit I call him only to find out that the puppy has been dewormed once again (was never informed this is going to happen, no consent on our part) and has been given bordetella vaccine as well. My husband said that Dr Rosen told him that this is needed now and it is only a nasal spray that will keep the puppy healthy.

Not one time she used a word "vaccine" for it, but a nasal spray. So, Dr Rosen ignored our conversation from 3 weeks before about giving one vax per visit, receptionist ignored this as well when I spoke with her before the visit, and they sold what they needed /wanted to sell. Bordetella vaccine was not even on the table for us as the dog will not be staying at kennels, will not be attending training or any puppy classes.

I have mentioned this on the first visit with her-i told her that I would opt out of this vaccine as with our lifestyle, this dog will not be staying at such places. South Wilton vet is the place where they will give you all vax they can, as fast as they can, and sell all products they can. No respect to the owner whatsoever. After paying $300 for each visit and having my dog receiving products I didn't want, I'll never go back.

Money making business. I already have a new vet and he laughed when I told him the story, unfortunately confirmed that many palaces do try the sell as much as they can. My new vet cost 1/3 of what I was paying at this place and the service was excellent. If could give zero stars, I would. Awful experience.

Stopped in to get medication that was called in 4 hours prior. It wasn't ready and I was told to leave. They would not fill it while I was there. What terrible customer service. I believe that I'm going to look for a new vet for my 3 dogs. This place is too big for its own britches. They are never helpful.

Staff is wonderful. The 2 vets I've seen have been incredibly patient and helpful guiding me through care for my elderly bearded dragon. Can't thank them enough for helping me through such a difficult time.

I’ve trusted the care of my pets to Dr. Fahy and S. Wilton for almost 25 years. Her patience, expertise, and caring for our animals is unmatched.
Also, all of the techs as well as other staff (front desk) are fantastic!

What a scam. 2500+ dollars and nothing resolved and they have the audacity to charge 3-400+ for a follow up when they prescribed the wrong drug in the first place. VCA Emergency Vet prescribed the right medication the first time for wayyyyy less money. Oh and be prepared to wait literally 45 minutes just to pay your (inflated) bill.

With your pet in the car. They don't care. You'll just sit there waiting. 3 grand down the toilet. The positive reviews must be from staff members because no honest patient had a good experience at this circus.

Very knowledgeable doctors and great customer service. I got appointment right away and it means a lot due to the emergency. Very professional people who are not just there to make money like other vets. Cost to see a avian vet is affordable. Will definitely recommend this clinic

The staff was amazing, very knowledgeable, treated my pets with love care and dignity. I have never seen them at ease when they were away from home in a carrier (that is hard to do with rabbits)and that was accomplished at your facility and I am very grateful four the love that radiates from your stuff to our pets. Our pets are an extension of ourselves and when people can treat animals with love it is a wonderful thing to behold. Thank You so very much!

Everyone here was super kind and supportive when I had to put down my hedgehog since she was ill. They even sent me a sympathy card in the mail which was very touching. I recommend coming here with your pets, especially exotic ones they take good care of and know what they are talking about.

We have been going to South Wilton vet for a couple of years now and have had nothing but great experiences. Have seen several different doctors and have loved them all thus far. Their receptionist Megan is an absolute sweetheart! I called very concerned for my cat and by the end of the phone call she made me feel so at ease. She took her time and listened to all of my concerns with an open heart! Not once in the conversation did I feel rushed and she gave extremely helpful information!

Nearly 4 years ago I adopted a 13 year old Cocker Spaniel named Charlie. My first stop was SWVG. After examining Charlie it was determined had I not gotten him there when I did he would have had weeks to live. He was full of infections in his mouth and ears, had broken teeth with nerves exposed and bad heart and lungs. The doctors there got to work healing this poor pup, treating each issue in order of importance.

Unfortunately after all the years that SWVG gave Charlie and me together, Charlie finally succumbed to his list of ailments. Even on his last day Dr. Rosen and her Technician treated Charlie with professionalism and compassion giving my wife and me peace of mind. I will be forever grateful for the quality time this caring group of doctors and staff gave to me and Charlie.
