This dog is supposed to be dead, or we were supposed to pay a ransom of $3k-$6k up front for her life. Fortunately another clinic helped to save her life without demanding payment before touching her. Her life was more important than cash while she was bleeding profusely. Poor bedside manner at South Seattle Veterinary Hospital served only to contribute additional stress on top of the pain and grief we were all experiencing at her pain. Please, please take the paw members of your family elsewhere.

Dealing with an emergency with my dog, called 5 different emergency vets after going to a vet urgent care since our vet couldn't get us in the same day. The urgent care vet suggested taking our dog to an emergency vet. I was happy that South Seattle Vet Hospital would take us with out having a 6-8 hour wait. We were told it could run $1,200 - $1,500 depending on what's needed.

Since we already had x-rays done. While driving there we got the x-ray results back from the urgent care that our dog probably had cancer. I called to and SSVH recommended still come in. So we did, the receptionist were kind. The wait was about an hour to be expected. I'd already waited at another vet. They took my dog in the back, then the vet comes to tell us it's going to be $2,000 to $3,000 dollars!

When I asked to how much the blood work would be I was told $300.00-$500.00. The urgent care vet I had come from it was only $200.00 for blood work. Dealing with the stress and worry for your pet is hard enough then to feel like I was being told prices double what I was told before was insane. Not just prices from their own clinic but from another clinic. I don't trust them and refused to have my dog treated. We brought her home with us.

Came here when another ERVet closed service for the night. Easy intake. My dog had to stay overnight and be monitored after getting into raisins. The main vet I worked with was informative and understanding. However the second vet was monotone and lackluster. He didn't follow up as the first vet said he would and kept pushing off my questions. I was told 2 different times to come pick up my dog, came at the later of the two knowing the vet industry is over worked right now and I still had to wait over an hour in a room for my dog to be released.

I wish there had been more communication when I placed in the room that it would be a longer wait than normal. If I get told to get my dog will be ready to go at 1 and then call to confirm and get told 3 I'm going to be there at 3. If get there at 2:55, and get placed in a room and I sit until 4 with no interaction it's the lack of acknowledgement that is annoying. I'm super flexible and don't mind waiting longer, but consideration is proper. With that annoyance aside I appreciate their care.

I was referred here by another emergency vet when I was trying to find a place that had openings. I brought my cat in who was very lethargic and had a fever, which ended up being severe constipation. There was virtually no wait when I brought her in at 9pm on a Saturday, and staff were very friendly when I would periodically ask for updates. They were very thorough, taking periodic x-rays to make sure she was good to go home. Price seemed on par or cheaper with other 24 hour emergency vets. I feel very confident in recommending them.

Very professional and caring. I have been going here for my pups check up and random care for over 10 years. And each time they have gone above and beyond for our pups. For example. My brother in law chiwawa was attacked by an unleashed pit bull. And they were able to save her for $4k. The love and professionalism is Michelin star.

Dr Goraya saves pets lives! His knowledge is beyond what you can find at most routine care vet clinics. I appreciate their long hours and proximity to West Seattle. My little guy, Ralphie has had a tumor removed from under his tongue. He was back to himself within a day of the surgery but he could eat so much better.

They are really amazing here. We first started bringing our cats here because our primary vet was out of town and they let us come in the same day. One of our cats had to have surgery and then we had to go back a couple times because they had worms. They have honestly been so great and accommodating that we have decided to start taking our cats here from now on. They really just make what would be a very stressful situation that much easier. The prices are a lot cheaper than our old vet too.

Dr Goraya, Chelsea, Kyle, Jasmine, and two other assistants whose names I didn't get (sorry!) treated my puppy, Madigan, and me with excellent care. Our wait was minimal, and Dr Goraya diagnosed Madigan and gave us a treatment plan quickly. He also provided an estimated cost that was spot on. Expensive yes, but most vet services are, especially when they involve surgery; that's why I have pet insurance.

I would definitely bring my pup back to South Seattle for any future emergency services (they are not our primary vet), but let's hope we don't need them! Thank you, South Seattle team for getting us patched up and on the mend!

I'm not really very happy with the service I got today. My dog Lily is rescue out of Texas with a bladder infection when she arrives at SeaTac airport. She runs out of antibiotics and a few days later I realize she still has the infection so i take her in and she gets more antibiotics. After she was done with them about a week later I notice there is blood in her urine so again we go back.

The vet said I needed to give her more water and take her outside more. She always has water and I take her out about every hour when I'm home. I do work so that parts tough but I feel like he made me out as a bad pet owner.

My baby died a day and a half after me taking him there cuz he was having trouble breathing they said his lungs were filled with fluid in his heart was enlarged yet they didn't offer to keep him overnight or do anything else they just gave me some pills to give himand told me take home. If I hadn't taking him to this wretched place he may still be alive today. For over $600 they're the worst vets in Seattle don't trust your babies with them. I'd give him a zero if I could
