South Ocala Animal Clinic was founded by Dr. Hogan in 1961. Dr. Stoothoff has been a veterinarian since 1993, graduating from Mississippi State University with honors. Prior to veterinary school, he taught Agriculture in the Marion County School System. I have wanted to be a veterinarian since I was maybe eight years old.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Kevin and his staff, His staff was professional, friendly, and the wait time was only about 10 minutes. Dr. Kevin is awesome, He is a breath of fresh air, Not only is he the nicest Vet, but talks to you in such a down to earth manner and actually helped save me money. I will be taking my pups to South Ocala Animal Clinic for all their needs!

I just moved to the area. Called to get a new Vet for my Cattery. I seriously need help. I needed a kitten to be checked for FIP. They told me they don't normally do those tests? And left me hanging with that. Really? I've been doing cats for 22 years. It's not good when a breeder knows more than the vet. So this place isn't a good Vet at all. Apparently they have no tests if your loved one needs to be tested. FIP is a unfortunate issue but still today a common issue. If they can't help with a common issue test then what can they do? And they were only 2.7 miles away! I was about to bring 9 kittens in for the works! Unbelievable!

I was looking forward to using this Animal Clinic. I needed to get both my dogs established after moving to the area and was excited to meet the vets.when arriving, there were spots to park and then call inside which I did. I was told that they only were curbside visits and that someone would be out to get my pups. I didn't feel comfortable without at least meeting the vets and seeing the clinic.
I wish someone would of informed me when I made the appointment. The girl at the desk was very sweet and understood when I said that I would have to cancel. The clinic looks very tidy and organized from the outside

Jesse is doing great and looks beautiful again. We are very pleased with your service, staff and Dr. Kevin is an amazing man. Kudos and thank you to everyone for your kindness. You all went not just one, but 5 or more extra miles to make this first visit a pleasant and welcoming experience. This is the first time in a long time our baby came out of the vet not bruised or hyperventilating from the experience. She was calm on the ride home and singing along with us and the radio. We truly thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We are so glad we found you. Have a great day.
