The staff here is wonderful. It's nice to have a clinic that can care for exotic pets without having to travel to Indy. One of our rats has had two surgeries this year and another was able to be treated for a respiratory infection. They get spoiled and snuggled by nearly the entire staff when they come in.

We offer a variety of services to our patients and tailor our recommendations to each pet to provide individualized care plans. The medications we stock are in sizes and dose forms that make it easier to give to dogs and cats.

Did you know- 85% of dogs age 3 and over have already developed dental disease! Your pet can't brush or floss it's teeth so its your job as their owner to help them maintain a healthy mouth! The wrong kinds of food can cause dental distress in pets. Feeding your dog a dry food rather than a moist, canned one will, through its mild abrasive action on the teeth, help remove the bacterial plaque that can harden into tartar. Dry food also provides adequate chewing exercise and gum stimulation. Avoid giving your pet sweets and table scraps as they may also increase plaque and tartar formation.

1. Payment is expected when services are rendered. In order to focus on our patients' needs, customer service and minimizing costs, we do not bill. 2. We accept debit cards, credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover) checks and cash. All cards must be signed by the owner of the card. 3. When unexpected illness strikes a pet, unexpected expense strikes as well. South Anderson Veterinary Clinic understands this and is able to make some special arrangements through the CareCredit program. It takes just 5 minutes to complete an application and will allow you to break down your payment into 6 monthly installments.

One of the very best things you can do to give your cat a long and healthy life is to ensure that your pet is vaccinated against common feline diseases. Your cat's mother gave her kitten immunity from diseases for the first few weeks of its life by providing disease fighting antibodies in her milk. After that period it's up to you to provide that protection! Most veterinarians believe that your pet should be protected against those diseases which are most common, highly contagious, and which cause serious illness.

Laser therapy provides a non-invasive, pain free, surgery free, drug free treatment, which is used to treat a variety of conditions and can be performed at the same time as other in clinic treatments. Relief and improvement is often seen in hours depending on the condition being treated and your pet's individual response. Whether your pet is rehabilitating from trauma or injury, healing from wounds or simply aging, your furry friend can benefit from this innovative approach to treating pain. Laser therapy stimulates the body to heal from within.
