Many of our staff donate their time and expertise to New Mexico animal welfare and educational organizations. Our veterinarians are graduates of Colorado State University's College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, internationally recognized for its research and clinical programs and top ranking among the country's veterinary programs.Dr. Parker obtained his undergraduate degree in biology at UCLA in 1981 and earned a teaching credential at UCLA in 1982.
A car acts as a refrigerator in winter, trapping the cold inside. Your pet could freeze to death if left inside a car in cold temperatures. Also, consider a microchip, a safe and permanent form of identification that can help get a lost pet home. Antifreeze is very toxic and can cause kidney failure and death--and dogs love its sweet flavor.

Santa Fe animal hospital Kendrick specifically is not trustworthy. Parker completely unprofessional dropping treatment mid stream for questioning them about Charged over $500 for unnecessary X-rays prior to trying any meds on a 4 yr old dog simply because we trusted them with our credit card. Parker completely unaware thought meds had been prescribed that never were.

Instead Kendrick charged $500 for unnecessary X-rays. The $70 meds seem to be working but they have now refused to treat Buffy mid stream because I questioned her. They didn't even bother to refer us to someone so now we.are on our own. No referral under emergency circumstances, SHAME ON THEN!.

The staff here were great. Efficient and considerate. The Dr. was terrific. All kept us well informed on the care of our cat. They were very reasonable about the price of his care.

Do not bring your rabbits here. My rabbit died under Dr. Kendrick's care. I brought my 3YO rabbit in for a head tilt and possible GI Stasis and my problems went ignored. My rabbit was relatively healthy until this emergency and I entrusted Dr Kendrick with her care. The office acted like they were absolutely tied up that day because of ONE surgery!

I tried to reason with them and agreed to bring my bunny girl in to be monitored in between patients, and she wrote my bunny girl off as second priority and did not get to the bottom of her issues. She sent me home with generic medication that did not work and did not offer to X-ray. This went on for two days and my rabbit subsequently died because of it.

I tried everything to save my bun and she died in my arms. This has brought so much grief to me because they acted liked they cared. Even with my other bun, he had a chronic sinus infection and eye drip that would not let up. She prescribed eye drops that are ineffective in rabbits (confirmed by two other vets that have since seen the boy), and never got to the root of his issues.

This was a persistent problem (we would visit more than 2x a month) and she would never recommend a more advanced practice for his needs. It was later confirmed (after driving 18 hours to a better vet) that my baby boy has advanced dental disease. Throwing your money at this vet is a total waste if you have rabbits. Goto Smith vet or ABQ if you're in Santa Fe with a rabbit. I usually go with the vet's recommendations and I am highly disappointed with the service I received.

I have been taking my two dogs there for the better part of 10 years and have always been so happy with their care. Dr.s Kendrick and Parker are really caring, knowledgeable, and trustworthy! It's a very clean space, too, and their COVID procedures are safe. I guess the name is a misnomer, though. Here is more of a vet, where you need an appointment.

My pet guinea pig fell and hurt her foot a month ago. Dr. Kendrick has done a great job to make sure Brooklyn heals correctly. Thank you so much to you and your staff.

I have been going to Dr. Kendrick for 12 years or so, have paid her much money over that time, and always felt it was high but worth it for her superior knowledge. She can feel a bit preachy sometimes, and just the last few years unnecessarily expensive or even price-gouging for things that could be gotten over the counter for much less. She is obviously quite capable as a vet.

That being said, I recently attempted to obtain an appointment for a stray whose owners cannot be located. I just want to get him vaccinated and remove his sutures, which had not yet been removed from a recent neutering. I feel completely blown off as I both left a message on voicemail and talked to the person at the front desk over the phone. It's been several days and no one has called me back at all.

Even if the appointment wasn't possible, it is completely unprofessional to ignore people who have been loyal and recommended you to hundreds of folks in Santa Fe. If you have lots of money, they will see you. If not.well. Good Luck getting your animal cared for by this place.

I have taken my rabbits to Dr. Kendrick for the last six years and I am incredibly grateful for the care she had given us. Not only is she very knowledgeable and savvy about rabbits (most vets aren't), she is also genuinely kind and caring. The staff is also great and the pricing is always fair and reasonable. I highly and enthusiasticly recommend this practice!

I've seen Dr Parker and staff over many years for two different cats. Everyone there has been so exceptionally kind, professional, and given great quality of care. Sometimes through complicated issues and emotionally difficult situations for me. A very big thank you to him and his great, supportive team, Ashley, Wanda, Angie, Barbara, Dr Kendrick and others. You folks are the best!

Dr Jennifer Kendrick is passionate, compassionate, so giving of her guidance and communication skills with no hesitation or rushing. So appreciate all she has to offer and give in our attempt to communicate with our animal companions and do the right thing without them being able to talk to us. Thank you Dr Kendrick.

Dr. Kendrick is amazing. She has a great way of interacting with my little cocker spaniel, Cassie. Cassie has been through cancer treatment and high blood pressure in the last few years, as well as abuse before she was rescued at 8 weeks old. A lot for such a little girl to go through. Dr. Kendrick is extremely attentive and considerate of all that my girl has been through, and she is an excellent support system for me as well. :-
