Its a hospital but my dog was ill well dying and they couldn't keep her over night wanted me to take her somewhere else and wouldn't and i mean refused to do anything without any money up front. And because of that i took my dog home and she died. At 3yrs old thats sad and she was my emotional support dog

Very compassionate, pretty friendly! They actually care about your pets. Though they're a little pricey on some things, they're not over the top.they help out with a multitude of options to pay, & do a tremendous job! There more than willing to work with you & are an amazing group to bring your pets to.

My 13 year old Maltese had an emergency and the walk-in clinic assessed his condition and treatment in under 15 minutes and he came home a well and happy doggie. Thanks Rock Island Animal Hospital!

I took my dog there on an emergency basis. The staff was friendly, but I'm a bit puzzled as to why no labs or x-rays were done? I took her to my normal vet the next day, where labs n x-rays were done, looks like pneumonia, which I could have found out sooner had this clinic done tests. Needless to say, I won't take her there anymore.

I'm extremely disappointed with this organization. I recently purchased an extremely expensive kitten from a so called "breeder" - of which I was never informed the kitten had and was being treated for ringworm. This establishment not once took testing from this kitten to confirm a negative ringworm test. This is standard procedure at any veterinary clinics - 2 negative tests to prove no sign of infection.

None of this was done. I am not left with a ringworm kitten, myself, my boyfriend, his 2 children and my 3 dogs now have ringworm due to this establishment "clearing" my kitten free of infection.

I love Dr. Narske and the staff here. We have brought our pets here for many years for their check ups and vaccines and such. Over the years we've had to put down two family cats there as well and the staff was so kind and thoughtful.

My family and I have used this vet for years! The staff has been so helpful and kind through many difficult times with our aging pets. We cannot say enough good things about our favorite vet tech (Dr. Ellen is what my pup Sam calls her) and how she goes above and beyond. The whole staff is incredible! Keep up the great work guys and gals!

"No appointment necessary", those were magical words when I needed an urgent vet visit for my newly rescued dog. I never considered crossing the river before, but I'm so glad I did. I found an efficient office and caring staff to take care of her. Fast forward to 6 years later and they are still providing great care for my pets. My aging cat had a seizure and I rushed him in thinking that he was on death's door.

They were calm and immediately took him to the back for treatment. They explained that sometimes seizures happen for no reason and it's not necessarily a life threatening situation. They observed him for awhile and sent us home. As I was going out to the car to get my wallet to pay for the office visit, they told me there wouldn't be a charge since they didn't do any treatments. WOW.I"m still impressed with their services even after my original vet retired, and I'm even more impressed with the current staff and their new facility.
