From Our Website

Fishers Veterinary Hospital was founded in 1979 by local veterinarian David Brown, DVM. We are a well-established AAHA-accredited animal hospital, 6-doctor small animal practice with 3 locations in the northern Indianapolis suburbs (2 in Fishers and 1 in Carmel). Our highly respected, thriving practice has vested DVMs, RVTs and compassionate customer service staff as well as nurses with over 170 years of collective veterinary experience. Our vet staff is among the finest in Indiana. While we do handle most pet visits by appointment, we are able to accept emergency or urgent visits during business hours.

Fishers Veterinary Hospital is proud to offer our clients a wide array of services for their pets, ranging from Oncology to Boarding. If you would like to learn more about any of our listed services, please call317-842-5865. Regular visits to the veterinarian are the cornerstone of your pet's health. Pets age faster than people and regular visits allow us to diagnose health issues early, often when they are more easily addressed. During your pet's wellness exam, we will perform a physical assessment.

Fishers Veterinary Associates exists to provide excellent, compassionate care for our patients. Our team offers wellness care to all and high quality medical and surgical intervention for ailing patients. We will cater to our clients with efficiency, kindness, and empathy. It is our desire to build lasting relationships with clients, patients, and our healthcare team.

The team here at Fishers Veterinary Associates are what really set us apart. We have an amazing staff of skilled and compassionate members, and we also have some team members who have been with our family for over two decades! High quality care along with faces that you know and recognize are just one facet of providing you and your pet with top notch service. Take a moment to learn about our team below. Dr. David Brown founded Fishers Veterinary Associates with the opening of Fishers Veterinary Hospital in 1979.

Veterinary laser therapy is a relatively new mode of treatment available for pets. There are a number of reasons why laser therapy might be recommended for a dog or cat, but the most common one is pain management. Here is some information about veterinary laser therapy and how it can help your pet. Laser therapy is safe, completely painless and non-invasive. Through the use of a handheld wand the veterinarian applies a low-frequency light — a "laser" — to specific areas on your pet's body for treatment.

During office hours, we are fully equipped and ready to help with all of your emergency and critical care needs. If you do have an emergency but it is after hours, we do provide an overnight triage service over the phone. Qualifying cases will be referred to VCA Advanced Veterinary Care Center for treatment. They are available when we are closed and we trust them for quality care! In the event you have to visit the emergency clinic we can get the records so we can follow up if your pet needs further care.
