I moved here four years ago and my elderly dog has received the best care since we arrived. My sister recommended and we are so happy! The staff is and very welcoming, kind and knowledgeable. Dr. Jason Scott and Dr. Harris are very caring and take the time to explain what is going on and their advice is never about pushing medications or procedures. I completely trust this practice and appreciate all of the care my dog has received! The groomers are also the best in this area! Ken knows exactly how to groom Teddy!

I boarded my two healthy dogs and two cats for a week. My German shepherd came back with her nose completely scratched and bloody and she has now two broken teeth. My cat Moxie weight has gone down. we called and shared photos to show them that it did happen on their watch and they refused to acknowledge it. I use the vet services too and according to the vet at Potomac Animal Hospital, my dog has good teeth and is healthy.

So what is it? Also they lied about my cat Moxie. They said that they called us repeatedly to let us know that she was not eating when in fact, they didn't. My call log doesn't show the calls. No apologizing was offered. Do not board your pets there If you care about them.

Top notch vet practice. I came here because I was tired of vet practices that didn't take me or my pet seriously enough. I have nothing but appreciation about how Potomac animal hospital has treated all 6 of my animals along the way. My one complaint was efficiently addressed and managed. I will drive the distance for this level of service. And I am someone who can claim themselves as a high maintenance pet owner whose pets are their babies.

We are 3 time English Bulldog owners and this is our only choice for care and boarding. We love the staff and give Dr. Jason Scott the highest ratings for his warm and caring attitude, knowledge and overall expertise.

At a recent vaccine only appt our dog was taken back immediately and was in and out in 5 min. Staff were incredibly nice. We love Dr Harris and Dr Jason is wonderful as well!

All the above are accurate. Our past two dogs and certainly our current dog have each received the best possible care and service possible. There's never a long wait, people try to get you in to see the doctor as quickly as possible, the staff knows The clients and the animals, every diagnosis and prescription for treatment has been excellent, they are always very very upfront about the cost of any treatment before it is given and most importantly they absolutely love their patients and owners Who are treated truly like family. Dr. Jason Scott is totally exceptional in his expertise professionalism and care.

We can't say enough about this practice and the love and interest they put into the handling of each and every pet that comes through that door! Honestly we would never ever consider any other veterinarian practice but Potomac animal hospital.

We generally have had very good experience with PAH. Staff is friendly and professional - which is especially noteworthy given fast paced environment and often demanding clientele. Vets are quite knowledgeable and do a good job explaining situation and options.

Dogs were getting shots and wellness exams nails clipped dog food, benadryl, By time I arrived home Maltese was vomiting and the terrier was falling over can't walk, he won't eat and I have no more money to take him back. I get him to drink some water but that is it. The doctor was good and the people were good. Had to wait outside till someone came to get us. I wonder if something was wrong with one of the thre vaccines, or more than one.

I have been taking my dogs here for almost 20 years. From new puppy vaccinations to, sadly, permanent rest, and everything in between, I have anyways received excellent personalized service. I like being able to take my dogs to the same place for boarding, grooming, and wellness; its so much less stressful on my dogs when they are familiar with the facility. They also have everything I need for my dogs including a large selection of food, lots of different toys and treats and grooming products!

We've been taking our cats and dog here for many years, from kittens/puppy thru geriatric, and even end of life for 2 cats. They've seen us through regular care, minor and serious illnesses, and dental care. They are always kind, caring, and spend the time to explain the options for the care your pet needs. Highly recommend.

My husband passed away suddenly and then 5 days after I buried him my mom died. I needed to board my dog for the first time, and Potomac Animal Hospital took really good care of her for me. I definitely recommend them and will use them again if needed.

Took good care of my little baby kitten, whom was stray. She is doing so well, even though she was found soooo young.
