Portage Park Animal Hospital

I've been coming to this place for many years. We moved to Indiana about five years ago. But we still take that long trip out to Portage Park Animal Hospital. They're caring. They are attentive. And most of all, they take very very good care of all my fur babies. I've had the pleasure of having four dogs in my lifetime and all of them have gone to Portage Park Animal Hospital. Dr. Tobin has shared joy and tears with me and my family. She has an amazing team from the front desk to the back end.

I have been bringing my dogs to Postage Park Animal Hospital for many years. Everyone there is very caring and understands how we feel about our pets. They will give you the options for care, but let you decide what is best for you and the animal. They have cared for 4 of our dogs - 3 of which lived long and healthy lives. #4 is going on 14 years young and spunky as ever!

We unfortunately had to put our sweet boy Buster down of almost 13 years. Portage Park from the minute we walked in made us feel comfortable They let us know to take all the time we needed in the room to say our final goodbyes. They brought him a blanket, a box full of chocolates and very patiently explained every step. This day was extremely difficult for us all but all the employees were so empathetic. Portage Park took very good care of our Old Man I am truly thankful for their kindness during this time

Never again will I dare to take my pets to this facility. Had been taking my dog there for the past 8 years annual checkups vaccinations, or for him not feeling well. They never told us about his cancer. They never said his lumps had to be checked. Would say fatty tissue or disregard. We trusted that he was in good hands. Unfortunately, we just lost him. Regardless of how friendly they are. I don't recommend that you trust them with your pet.

From the moment I scheduled the appointment for my dogs I felt like I was making the right decision. They have very pleasant customer service and were helpful with both medical and finanicial questions. Both the vet tech and the doctor were super patient with my reactive dog and asked lifestyle questions to determine what types of treatments/procedures would be best for my dogs. I am happy with the care we received and will be returning as well as reccomending to others!

I recently moved my pups over to Portage park animal hospital and as soon as I walked in, place looked very nice and clean! They did great with both of my boys! So gentle and caring! Great experience from all staff over all! You can tell everyone loves what they do!

The vet doctor that I seen was wonderful. She's nice caring and she did everything she could for my Cat Buddy. The only problem I had was one of the girls that works there that came in the room to fill out paperwork and explain things. She Wasn't nice, caring, and explained nothing, but gave my son and I attitude and act childish. My cat had just passed away and we had to deal with her.

We did ask her to leave the room we told her we didn't to talk to her. The doctor came in and talked to us and she was again so sweet and kind and understanding. She sat with us and listen to us and she cared about what we had to say and how we were feeling. I wish I remembered the doctors name because she is one of the best she does everything she can and she cares is everything that's why I gave 5 stars.

I love this place. I've been coming here a while now for all my animals and I always had a good experience. Dr. Tremlova is one of my favorites she has a lot of experience and knows a lot. She's done surgery on my little dog and is very understanding. And she seemed to know more about seizures in cats than the other vets in the office so she was able to help me so much with my beloved cat.

The doctor was incredibly patient and super caring with my dog when he came in for his annual check up and Vaccines. She sat with him on the floor, gave him pats and told him how handsome he was The staff always takes copious notes of what triggers my dog so that they can give him the least stressful experience while having everyone be safe.

My dog's prior vet clinic was not reliable. Their hours changed all the time and never accurate online. I wanted to have a place I can rely on and get quality care. I LOVE this place! Always super good with my dog, responsive, and most importantly reliable. Highly recommend!

The doctors and staff truly care about each pet. The doctor even let my six year old "help" with the puppy exam. Love PP Animal Hospital!

I have brought my pup there for a dental cleaning twice. The staffs are very friendly and the doctors are great. Prices are extremely reasonable. I trust these folks and recommend them to anyone with a dog or cat.

I absolutely love this place. We've always had a great experience no matter which vet or technician has been working with us. We've even continued to come back here after moving out of the area and down to the west loop. We look forward to many more years of bringing our dog here!

We've been taking our pets to Portage Park Animal Hospital for a couple of years now and we have been very happy with their service and care. All of the Veterinarians our pets have seen have been nice, knowledgeable and very patient. All other staff have been great as well.

The staff is warm and friendly. I have brought my young and old cats and dogs here and you can tell they really care and love animals. Even when I had to put one of my animals down due to cancer they really took time with me and helped me through it and treated my cat like their own. You can't find a better vet to care for your fur babies.

I've been coming to Portage Park Animal Hospital for 13 years. First, with my pugs Suzy and Dudley and now with my labsky, Emrick. He absolutely loves the doctors and the staff at Portage Park. They always greet him with hugs and kisses and the Drs are phenomenally trained experts at what they do. He's had very successful major surgery with Dr Diciaula and his primary care physician Dr Tobin is absolutely wonderful. I wouldn't even consider going anywhere else.
