Companion animals have much shorter lifespans than humans. For this reason, it's critically important that we stay on top of their health care. When illnesses go undetected for long periods of time, they can have devastating results, up to and including shortening your loved one's life. To counteract this, we recommend having your pet examined thoroughly at least once a year.
When you are sick or have become injured in some way, the solution is simple. You go see your doctor, explain the situation and receive the appropriate care. Managing the ongoing health of our animal friends, on the other hand, isn't always this straightforward. Because animals cannot speak, they can't tell us when they're not feeling well, nor can they explain their symptoms or point out where it hurts.
Does your pet need an operation? At Pet Med Clinic, we understand that bringing a loved one in for surgery can be a time filled with anxiety and concern. Our mission is to place your mind at ease by going above and beyond to ensure a safe and successful surgical experience for both you and your pet.
Over the past several decades, doctors of human medicine have been leveraging the power of the therapeutic laser to manage pain and treat a wide variety of injuries and ailments. We now know that this innovative technology can also be used on companion animals with the same incredible results. Pet Med Clinic is proud to include laser therapy as a part of our extensive line of comprehensive treatment options for those pet parents that desire a more holistic approach to their pet's health care.Laser therapy is a pain-free, non-invasive treatment method that has been proven to be effective in reducing pain, improving mobility and speeding healing following injury or surgery.

We had a great experience at the clinic. They squeezed us in on an emergency basis during a busy Friday. The front office was very sweet. Doctor Lang was prompt and explained what he thought was going on and why. I would recommends this office and we will be returning patients.

Very friendly with pets and you receive a nice gesture, but I think it is very expensive. Take my cat for surgery so that she doesn't have babies and they charged me $560, I thought it was very exaggerated, it was very expensive.

The staff was really nice and helpful. The Doctor was also very nice, but I left feeling like I had unanswered questions. The final problem was my bill was doubled my quote, and nobody explained during or after the care why that was. I won't be going back nor would I recommend a friend.

My cat Maverick got his first round of vaccines at Pet Med Clinic. Robin from Pet Med called and cancelled our second scheduled appointment that we had set for Maverick for his second round of Vaccines. When I called back, they said we would need to pay for the first round of vaccines again because it put us outside of a four week window between vaccines.

This is the fault of Pet Med and they weren't willing to do anything about it. We planned to keep our original appointment, they cancelled, not us. I will go elsewhere for all three of my cats. Maverick needed neutered as well, and each technician was not consistent in their pricing. They seem to feel out the situation and price accordingly, rather than one flat rate to neuter a cat.

This doesn't seem ethical and I was put off by this clinic from my first appointment because of this. Our other cat who had been seen by Pet Med passed away last year as well and the experience with Pet Med through the process was not a positive one. I unfortunately don't have anything good to say about Pet Med regarding any of my many experiences with them.

My cat came in with gum inflammation, ,$371.65 later with no antibiotics, but was to come back for xrays and a threat of having all his teeth removed, long story short all he needed for the time being is antibiotics, thanks to our horses vet he received his antibiotic and is recovering. I feel like they take advantage of your love for your pet

My boyfriends family has been coming to this clinic for many years with the old vet, Dr. Diedrich, who has retired and sold to this Dr. Lang. I came to see Dr. Lang who recommend a dental on my dog. He then performed biopsies while she was in surgery, not giving me prices. This cost me almost 1300$.Dr. Lang then told me that my dog had cancer to see a specialist. I paid 750$ for an oncologist to tell me he read the report wrong, it CLEARLY says not cancer! This Dr should be put out of practice malpractice.

First off, I'm a helicopter dog mom and I know that. I've been going to Pet Med for about 5 years. I absolutely love them! They answer my phone calls obsessively worrying over the littlest concerns I have. They go above and beyond to care for our almost 5 year old aussie mix (who is very skittish) and our new Beagle. Dr. Lang calls and is always keeping me in the loop. I am so grateful to have them right down the road to be there for my pup's needs. I appreciate them every time we interact because they treat our dogs like their own.

Pet Med Clinic was recommended to me by Micci at Safe Harbor Rescue. We got a golden doodle from Safe Harbor that had been spayed earlier and the clinic that spayed her didn't remove all her stitches. I took Emma dog into Pet Med, and even though they didn't perform the original procedure, they removed the long overdue stitches for me. They were so kind, I have definitely found my new vet! It's clean, the techs are efficient and gentle, and it's easy to find.

I love Petmed! My family has been taking our pets to this clinic for over 23 years. Dr. Diedrich and his staff are true animal lovers and always take great care of our fur-babies. Every time I take my little kitties into Pet Med for their yearly vaccinations and physicals I feel comfortable with the treatment they receive. I feel like the staff treat my pets just as well as they would treat their own pets.

Over the years I have had a variety of treatments done to my pets. I have always been pleased with every service they have offered. I also feel that their prices are very fair. The following is a list of the services I have used over the years: 1. Yearly Vaccinations 2. Euthanization (Dog) 3. Declawing 4. Boarding 5. Successful Heart Worm Treatment (Dog) 6.

Purchase of vitamins and meds If you are looking for a well-established veterinarian in the Lorain County area then I highly recommend Dr. Diedrich and his staff at Ped Med Clinic.
