Such a great experience. The lobby is huge so it's easy to check in. The doctor and nurses take their time with you, ask lots of questions and write things down! I absolutely felt like they treated my fur baby as if it were their own. Totally recommended!

I absolutely love the entire staff at this facility. They all genuinely care about your extended family members. It doesn't matter which Dr you have an appointment with. They all take their time to answer your questions. They never rush you or make you feel like you're just a dollar amount to them. They get down on the ground and make sure that your animal is comfortable in their setting. Regardless of where I move to you n AZ, I will always make the trip to this facility.

Excellent service. Hard to get a vet clinic appointment for a travel certificate. PAH took care of our certificate and the attention was very professional. They have gained a new patient!

Took our dog to get neutered and was told a certain price. We decided to take him there and was told it was over $400 more then what was quoted over the phone. The lady in the front was rude to my daughter when she tried to ask questions regarding the form. Would not recommend this place. If they are rude to people imagine how they would be to your animals.

Dr Tom Satkus took care of my dog Corona for 16yrs ~ He took such good care of her ~ We had him put Corona to sleep over 2 yrs ago ~ Five months ago we adopted a puppy from Rocky Point Mexico named Rosita and I was excited to bring her in to see Dr Satkus ~ He checked her out and Rosie let him examine her ~ It was a big step for her and everything went well just like with Corona ~ Dr Satkus will always be my vet ~ Sue Lich

Everyone I have dealt with has been professional, kind, compassionate, and they understand how to make my little monster of a dog comfortable. He can be quite a handful, due to some past situations. They all stay super calm with him, and he responds to that. He's actually a good boy for them! Through all the needle sticks and other testing, he tolerates the touching. It's amazing.

I love the doc he's very respectful of me and my puppy Mollie. He talks to me one on one not above my head and not condescending, he tells it like it is. Great guy reminds me of my oldest son. I don't think I'll ever take my dogs anywhere ever then there. Receptionists are fantastic

We have been using their services for over 5 years and have had good service BUT today we brought our cat in for a routine dental cleaning and was told to have him there by 8:30 AM; which we did. I called around 12:30 to see how he was and they haven't even started his procedure! He is a living breathing animal not a car that was waiting for a part! In the future, we will find a practice that treats a pet better than a car or an appliance!

I have been taking my two dachshunds to PAH for about seven months. Their vet is Dr. Crowe. I don't know what to say other than I love this clinic and the great care they receive from Dr. Crowe. It's quite easy to tell that she loves all her patients and it makes me feel at ease. She also immediately detected what was wrong with one of them and acted fast to dig more into it. We moved to Buckeye but will keep going here.: thank you for the great job you do!

They are great folks. They take good care of my pets. They are nice and wonderful. One of the owners is a great guy. He runs that place well. He makes sure it is quality. But they have been there for me. Big thanks on some hard days.

My dog is diabetic and needed an insulin refill. Instead of being concerned about my dog, The "owner" kept reminding me that it was my fault that I waited too long to refill, refused to confirm if I could use aged out insulin and instead my dog needed to wait 5 more days for the doctor to be in to see him before they would give me new insulin. After much argumentative response from her, I asked if she would give the doctor a note to review and she said "maybe" in defiance, reminding me she was the owner and could do what she wanted.

He has been taking this for over 2 years now - Not only would they not courtesy refill in the meantime, they refused to help me at all. Finding a new vet that cares more. Meanwhile my dog will suffer until I could get him in elsewhere.

I took my pup here a few months ago. He was very sick and nobody knew exactly what was wrong with him. The vet told me he seemed to have brain damage (from having seizures). They also told me I should probably put him down. I chose not to. I'm happy to say Jimmy is happy and healthy now. He doesn't have brain damage. This place is a great place but like others they don't have all the right answers.

Was a great animal hospital many years ago, if you love your animals don't take them here. Took in a perfect animal for simple procedure, now dieing. Very unorganized and rude. Wish i went somewhere else.

This place won't treat animals after a certain time but they'll let you make an appointment until closing. So you end up paying a 50 dollar office visit just to come back another time for treatment or to pay another vet for treatment you were trying to get here. The veterinarian could have cared less or could not have exited the exam room any quicker to go home.she basically ran for the door.

I showed up 8 minutes early for the appointment and had to wait over 20 minutes to be seen by that time they were closing in 10 minutes and would not provide any care. Why not just cut off appointments at an hour before closing so all patients can get care? Oh that's right they want to charge you 50 dollars for nothing. They must make a lot off those 50 dollar office visit fees when literally no care is given or no meds. What a joke.

Peoria Animal Hospital has been our vet for a number of years. The vets are incredible and very helpful. They have helped us keep our dogs and cats healthy. When one of our cats got diagnosed with an incurable condition, they helped us provide the best quality of life for our pet and sent a condolence card when he eventually passed. They aren't just great vets, they are great people!

We just got my son's cat of 13 years. He moved to a place where he couldn't keep him. We knew that Max has a thyroid problem. Dr. Rowley was WONDERFUL! She took her time to review his prior vet's records and spent the time necessary to take care of Max and answered all of our questions. We've been going to Peoria Animal Hospital for years and have been very satisfied with their service and their care.

Our little kitty got the best care ever, everyone was super helpful, and they explained what was going on. Best of all I appreciate that they asked before running a couple of different tests so I when it was time to pay, I wasn't surprised by the bill. We liked them so much, we already made check up appts for our other pets.

Peoria Animal Hospital has completely let down our family and caused our dog harm. We had been taking our three dogs for over two years. But when it came to the time we had an emergent situation this vet clinic did not do their job. I called the vet explaining that my dog was having what appeared to be an anal gland issue. I explained that the gland was swelled nearly to the size of a golf ball, red, and warm to the touch all that happened within 36 hours (an anal gland abscess).

I was told I would not be able to be seen for A WEEK. I iced my dog and waited the day out. By the time I had to leave for my night shift I noticed his gland was getting worse. I went to work with the plan of calling first thing in the morning to be seen right away. When I got home my dog was in severe pain and oozing blood after his anal gland had ruptured.

Our vet could have prevented this if they were capable of doing their job. Even after it ruptured and I called to be seen they said they didn't have any openings. I will never put my dogs well being in the hands of Peoria Animal Hospital again. Stay away. UPDATE After FALSE RESPONSE FROM ESTABLISHMENT: I was never warned that this could become an emergent situation.

I was given no suggestions of how to help my dog. I was never told to go to an emergency vet before the rupture. Before the rupture they said I could be seen sooner if I felt I needed an urgent appointment. This conversation took place early Friday morning, and the "urgent" appointment possibility was for Monday. That is NOT the same day. They never even said this could become an emergency for my dog.

After the rupture I was never even offered an urgent appointment. Had I been warned that it could rupture or that it needed to be assessed right away I would have moved mountains to prevent it and get faster treatment. This vet neglected to give me any helpful information or guidance and did not warn me of what could occur. They do not offer urgent same day appointments.

After seeing a different local general vet that actually did offer same day urgent appointments, I was told that my dog absolutely needed medical care and it was a good thing I was there.

I went in on Monday for my dog's ear infection and ear hematoma. Dr. Snow explained the options to treat my pup and the staff explained the estimates of what the services would cost. They were able to schedule his surgery the next day! He is now resting but his ear looks so much better! I am so impressed by their customer service and friendliness. I recommend Peoria Anima Hospital to anyone who is looking for friendly, clear and top tier attention for their pets. Thank you so much to the staff for being 10/10!

Unfortunately took my dog in for a ear infection- came out officially knowing she's over weight and the doctor suspected thyroid issues. We did bloodwork and sure enough low thyroid. we got the meds within 2 days which was super great. We had a 4:30 appt that day and even though we only went for a eat issue- the doctor addressed other concerns we had which I thought was so great.

We did blood work- aspirated a swollen toe she has (it's fine luckily), got new food recommendations, allergy shot (which doctor suspects her rash are from allergies) and a rabies vaccine. Overall good experience.

I have been taking my fur babies to Dr. Satkus for over 5 years now and he is the absolute BEST! He genuinely cares about his patients and spends an immense amount of time with them. He is up to date on the newest standards of care and I have no doubt that he provides the highest quality of care possible to my pets. He is conscious of the potential financial difficulties that comes with taking care of our pets; and has never made me feel guilty about not pursuing an option that I could not afford. I highly recommend Peoria Animal Hospital and there is no other vet that I would take my pups to!

Dr. Snow and her staff made my visit less stressful. It was actually a really pleasant vet visit. My dog is usually really anxious at any vet, but she laid down in the exam room, after she had been assessed; she seemed really calm & comfortable. I was lucky they had a cancellation for a next-day appointment. What I valued the most is the amount of time Dr.

Snow took with me to review her assessment of my dog's health & urine issue and the treatment/testing options. She explained things so well so I could make the best decision. I didn't feel rushed or pressured at all.

I remember Doctor Wannick very well! Class A Doctor! So sad he retired! : He did what was in the best interest of the animal. He was always fair and never had a problem. And now we have the NEW Peoria Animal Hospital. And that's all I have to say. After going there for thirty years, it's time to depart. Grabbing a little to deeply in my wallet for my liking. Sad, very sad. Fairness will be missed! Thank you Doctor Wannick, you'll be missed indeed!

Thank god for Midwestern university animal health institute. They took over where you dropped the ball, very friendly, punctual and finished the job you failed to do. So glad there are vets out there that care and are not just there to collect your money! People please be careful using this place, they left my dog out to die with no compassion. She is doing good now with competent vets.

Loved the level of care and cleanliness their clinic provides for customer service and care! I used this clinic while on vacation for an emergency. I would use them again if we go back and decide to bring our dogs again!

I was really hoping that this would be a good place to take my cat, but it's not. The first doctor we saw argued with me about my cat's age insisting she was two years old. I've had her for 12. Then, rather than address the problem I brought her in for, I was given a treatment plan that had multiple tests and procedures that looked like they were excessive.

In other words, padding the bill. On another occasion, with a different doctor, it was the same thing. Rather than identify and address the problem, multiple tests and procedures were recommended. I declined, and though a simple internet search I was able to find the problem. A common problem that any experienced vet would be able to diagnose on sight.

When confronted with this via the telephone, the doctor was beyond antagonistic. And I was hung up on. Find an animal hospital with an experienced staff. One that isn't about padding the bill, but about properly diagnosing and treating your pet.

I made an appointment online with Dr. Crowe after carefully reviewing each doctor's bio on their website. It was my very first visit to this hospital for a general check up for my aging dog. Upon entering, I was very impressed with the cleanliness and how big the reception area was. Did not have the typical "veterinary hospital" smell. I was greeted by a friendly receptionist and vet tech which made me feel comfortable.

Due to Dr. Crowe being on maternity leave (which I wasn't notified about) I had Dr. Snow instead. Immediately, I had a bad feeling about her. She seemed very cold and distant with my dog and barely touched him almost as if she doesn't like dogs. When explaining things to me, it was done in machine operated like way with no emotions. Upon discussing medications, I asked if I can receive a written prescription so I can purchase them online. Vet tech went back inside to confirm with the doctor in which she came out to explain the risks upon purchasing online which I was aware about.

I told her I will do some research before purchasing and we agreed that I will give a call to purchase directly from the hospital if I am unable to find the medication from a reputable source. I heard the vet tech explaining that in the other room and Dr. Snow responding "okay, whatever" quite loudly. I am going to come back with my other dogs, but definitely not for Dr. Snow. I confirmed when Dr. Crowe would be back but I wish they would have notified me that she was not going to be present because I would have rescheduled otherwise.

I brought my lady in their to have her put to rest after having a bad exsperianc with doctor crow, the lady up front was rude and they left lady on the ground and didn't even try to confort her, this place really is terrible and i definitely will never recommend this place.

Very positive experience. The staff were professional and personable. The vet took the time to listen and discuss all the options to cure my dogs issues. Was very thorough and gave us all the attention we were looking for. Something our previous vet seemed to lack.

Honestly I wish I could give a 10 star review. Dr. Snow and the staff of Peoria Animal Hospital are AMAZING! They treated our cat like their own beloved pet from the moment we walked in. We went for a check up and unfortunately got news that our kitty had a kidney issue. Dr. Snow always got the results back quickly and never rushed me off the phone when I had questions about our options or the results.

I truly feel like they care about their patients and that is so important to me as a pet owner. I will be bringing all of our fur babies here and recommend anyone who needs a vet to do the same. I cannot thank PAH enough!

PAH has been my vetinerian for over 4 years and I can't praise them enough for the great way they take care of my dogs. Our Boxer CeCe had surgery on Tuesday and not only did she receive exceptional service but my Mom and I were kept apprised of her status all day long. Not to mention a follow-up call today checking on our girl. I've been there several times this year for routine shots and checkups to surgery.

The prices are reasonable and their new office is beautiful. Dr. Snow and all the staff are great with my animals (4 year old Staffordshire & 10 year old Boxer) and their facility is always orderly, clean and cool. I highly recommend PAH for anyone who has animals that they love

So I can't say how great full I am to these people. We had a concern with my dog. They we were able to get an appointment in a very short time. They have a beautiful facility and have the appointments scheduled so that you are not setting in the lobby with other animals. Some animals don't behave well with others if they are sick. Just like people.

So Lilly had a problem with a lump on her stomach and was uncomfortable jumping and getting around. The Dr didn't make her feel uncomfortable putting her on the table he went to her on her level. In my book that says that he cares for his patients. He opted to try medication first before putting her through a needle biopsy. For her comfort. In 2 days a great improvement was made. She is fine and thanks to the kindness and skill have made my fur baby herself again. Thank you so much!

This office has been phenomenal and I'm so happy to have this facility for our fur babies! Dr. Satkus is very friendly and super knowledgeable. The staff are all friendly and they spend their time talking through things with you and ensuring you understand test results versus just giving you the information. Both visits my dog has had to have her shots and they call the following day just to check on her.

We moved here from WI and I am thrilled to have found Peoria Animal Hospital and especially Dr. Satkus for our 9 year old Shitzu Bandit. Every visit to Dr. Satkus has been a great experience. My dogs don't LOVE going to the vet (big surprise), but they TOLERATE going here. It's a nice, clean, new facility and the front staff is always friendly. The prices seem to be reasonable and I have never had any trouble getting an appointment as they have a number of doctors on staff. Dr Crowe is great with my dogs, and has a lot of patience. She explains all options, and really seems to care about my dogs, and not just generating revenue.

I'm with another reviewer, I would give 10 stars if I could. Wonderful human beings. Kind, prompt, affordable, intelligent, and truly compassionate. We saw Dr Satkus today, and my folks' dog sees both Satkus and Scrimager. I couldn't believe the time they took with our dogs. It's been decades since I saw veterinarians give such thorough consults and exams. They're office visit rates are SO greatly appreciated.
