It is called by many names: integrative medicine, multi-modial approach, balance of eastern and western medicine, etc. Whatever you call it, it is an approach to better health for your pets. At Paws 'N Claws Veterinary Clinic we use every means available to improve the quality of life for your pet.
Is your pet well behaved? How well do they travel? Behavioral issues can lead to many problems. We can provide advice regarding the correction of problems such as excessive barking, chewing, spraying, scratching, digging, house soiling and aggression. We have an extensive file of handouts and information sheets regarding most of the common problems.
Dental health is probably the most neglected of all health maintenance items. It is important to have your pet's teeth examined on a routine basis. If left unchecked, bacteria from the mouth can enter the bloodstream and travel to the lungs, heart, kidneys, liver & even the brain, starting infections there and seriously compromising the health of your pet.

This is a wonderful vet clinic, and they gave the best dental cleaning care to my senior cat. Staff are very caring and the doctor is great! I highly recommend this clinic to anyone that has a furry friend.

I am so grateful to all the staff at Paws N Claws. I brought in my hedgehog Olive thinking they had urgent care services. Even though they did not have an ER, their schedule was full, and it was nearing closing time, they made room for Olive. The doctor did a full exam on Olive and took the time to talk to me face to face and answer all my questions.

When I needed to pick up meds and my work schedule wouldn't allow me to make it during open hours, they gave the meds to the brewery next door so I could pick up them up as soon as possible that evening and said don't worry about payment right now. They are very good at keeping touch, and it seemed that every staff member was very invested in Olive's recovery.

The hospitality at Paws N Claws is unmatched. They did a brilliant job helping my sweet old hedgehog. I would highly recommend their services, and their prices are incredibly reasonable compared to other exotic vets in the area.

Great staff! Our dog absolutely hates going to the vet but she felt very comfortable around the staff when we brought her in last minute

I can't begin to say how appreciative I am of the doctors and the entire staff at Paws 'N Claws. My Felix has been around for 15.5 years and is battling kidney disease. He has had the best care here and I couldn't ask for a better environment for him to be in. Pet's are part of our family and to put them in other peoples care during the day is very hard.

On the other hand, this clinic is like home, and their demeanor makes me feel so much better when my Felix is in their care. Felix is spending his last moments, however much time that may be, here at home. I just thought I would thank Paws 'N Claws for being part of our lives.

A new vet for us. They were very gentle with our senior dog. Very pleased with how they treated us and the extraction quote was not a bad deal either!

I had to make an appointment for shots for our puppy. The person who took the call asked all of the appropriate questions. Then reviewed the information with me to make sure that our pup would be receiving the shots etc.that he needed.

I have been bringing my pet to Paws 'N Claws Veterinary Clinic since 2007. My dogs (1 from 2007-2012 and 1 from 2012 - present), have been treated like members of the staff's family, as have I. Both of my dogs, sequentially, have experienced chronic, complicated health and dietary problems. I always have been treated as a knowledgeable member of each dog's care team, and my opinions and questions always have been respected.

As a result I believe that my dogs have been treated in ways that have allowed them to live as comfortably as possible. All of these elements lead to me and my dog being committed and loyal clients of this clinic.

The tech Grace was very friendly and sweet to with my pup, even though it was extra hard for me since COVID regulations here do not allow the human inside. I got phone time with the vet and opportunity to ask any questions with him. Affordble shots and vaccinations. Easy to get your doggo in for an appointment in a timely manner. The staff is very explanatory and up front with costs/ necessary actions. My pup was not happy to have had shots and been poked, but I think she enjoyed meeting all the staff and getting attention from them, masked up and all!

I have been bringing my dogs here for years now, thanks to a recommendation of a Veterinarian friend of mine. Their pricing is very decent and they always welcome my dogs and I whenever we go there. Both of the Doctors there are very knowledgeable and you can tell they love their jobs and each furry family member that comes in. All of the other staff are so wonderful to work with and they are so warm and wonderful with my dogs.

I've had the absolute privilege of working with Paws 'N Claws both from a client and shadowing vet student over the last 4 years. As a student I have been so grateful to watch their entire staff treat each animal with exceptional kindness and state of the art medicine. Because of the wonderful experience shadowing the doctors and technicians, Paws 'N Claws is my Fort Collins clinic of choice for my personal animals. Dr. Glick went above and beyond when my dog was a puppy to ensure that he had positive experiences in the clinic, and as a result he loves coming to the vet now!

He serves as a community blood donor, and thanks to Dr. Glick's cooperative care donates without sedation. Drs Glick, West, and Schramm are all so amazing and their technicians are some of the best around!

I just took my pup in because she broke her dew claw, and the staff was more than accommodating. Molly at the front desk spoke with me on the phone prior to me going in, and assured me they would be able to help my dog quickly and affordably. I arrived at the office, and was greeted and taken care of immediately. The office is clean, organized, and pet friendly, with carabiners to attach a leash to while filling out paperwork.

I received an estimate, which, to my surprise was half what I had been quoted at other offices. I'm able to take care of the family pet without hurting the family financially, and I'm beyond grateful. You guys are my dog's forever vet from this day forward.

While visiting my dog Missy injured her lower back (again). She had previous issues with it. Age 14. Called and the friendly staff were able to get us in within a 24 hour period. Dr. Kevin Schramm took the time to sit down on the floor and get to know what type of temperament Missy had and then performed acupuncture on his back and did a complete physical analysis and at my request did a full blood work panel.

I found out that Missy had been misdiagnosed with cataracts from primary vet and found out she had an eye disease called Pennus and not cataracts. Within 24 hours of receiving the medication for her eyes she was much improved and could see her ball again. She was fetching and running down hallways again like a puppy. The doctor and his assistants spent over two hours with me and answered all questions and kept his promise to call me with the blood work results in the evening. It was an exceptional visit. Better than any vet that I have ever experienced with any of my pets over many years and all at a reasonable cost.
