Dr Tonia Fisher, our medical director and owner, has been serving the Santa Rosa area for the past 16 years. She was raised in New Mexico, and attended The University of New Mexico for her undergraduate degree. She attended Colorado State University and earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1998.

We have been using Heritage Vet for nearly 17 years and have never had a problem or concern with their service: always friendly, service is never rushed, informative consultations covering all aspects of our pets' health, a bias for preventative care taking into consideration the specificities of diet, immunizations, breeds' specific health vulnerabilities, etc and outstanding and compassionate end-of-life care. They keep the offices and examining rooms very clean and all billing and record keeping functions are thorough and complete.

I have an 11 year old Westie that has been going to Heritage Veterinary for years now. He's a bit high maintenance so Dr. Lankes and Dr. Fisher know him well and they're always so good with him and so are the Technicians and all the girls at the front desk are wonderful. I appreciate how kind they are with Bentley. It's not his favorite place to be but they make him as comfortable as possible. I highly recommend!

I just brought my cat to Dr. Larkin for the first time and she was wonderful. My cat is a very nervous guy so I wasn't sure how taking him to a new vet would be, but she was so good with him and made him as comfortable as he could be at the vet. She is very friendly as well as knowledgeable and explained everything very well and I felt comfortable with her. All of the staff was also really friendly and I'm so glad I'm now established with a vet here that I like and trust.

I have been taking my dog here for the past 5 years and they are amazing. Dr Tonia Fisher and Dr Lynne Lankes are both very professional, kind, and knowledgeable. The front desk people are also so amazing, patient, and understanding with everything. Highly recommenced this vet clinic if you are in the Sonoma area :

As a retired Veterinary Professional, I am ridiculously picky about where my pets are treated. The staff at Heritage Veterinary Hospital are professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and I know my pets are getting the absolute best care they deserve. Dr. Tonia Fisher is one of the most talented Veterinarians I have ever had the privilege to meet - she is a brilliant doctor who constantly pushes herself to learn more and improve her already stellar skills. 10/10 would recommend this practice to anyone looking for a hospital they can trust to care for their animals as if they were their own.

Dr Fisher and staff are outstanding! We've had a string of unfortunate events with our cats and they have been incredibly kind and accommodating. The communication is great. Our cats are very well cared for there. One had oral surgery and the other serious bowel problems and Dr. Fisher fixed it all. They work very hard and lead with love, warmth, and kindness. If you're looking for a new vet, this is your place!
