Precious Paws Animal Hospital is a full service animal hospital and welcomes both emergency treatment cases as well as pet patients in need of routine medical, surgical, and dental care. We have years of experience treating serious conditions and offering regular pet wellness care. Beyond first rate pet care, we make our clinic comfortable, kid-friendly, and calm, so your pet can relax in the waiting room and look forward to meeting our Ocean City veterinarian.We are happy to offer a number of resources that enable you to learn about how to take better care of your pets.
Services
For scheduled surgeries, dental cleanings, and inpatient medical treatments we ask that you bring your pet in between 8:00am and 9:00am the morning of the procedure. Most pets should not have any food after 8:00pm the night before. Medical boarders may be dropped off any time our office is open. You may bring toys and blankets from home if you wish.
Dr. John Maniatty is a 1997 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary medicine, and has worked seven years at a veterinary hospital in Allentown, Pa. After searching for quite sometime he fell in love with Worcester County and specifically Ocean City Animal Hospital now known as Precious Paws.
We make every effort to ensure that our fee structure is fair, equitable and competitive. Charges are based on time, expertise and extent of supplies and services provided. We have needed them twice in a week for our guineas. They a have patient and loving staff and their love for animals is evident. Our old guinea suddenly became sick they accommodated us at nearly 5pm on a Friday. Sadly we had to put him down Then by the next Thursday our 3 month old guinea had developed some sort of ailment. When i started calling Thursday late afternoon Lindsay walked me through my options. Friday morning came and we discovered an abscess under her chin.
The office saw us within the hour for an emergency visit. I am here waiting for them to finish tending to Kipo and had to come and let everyone know how grateful my kids and i are that Precious Paws is here!

I am new to the area with a newly adopted kitten who was sick. She was lethargic with a high fever. Other local vets could not get me in to be seen in a timely fashion. Precious Paws got me a same day appointment 9AM! They provide a treatment quote before proceeding. They took excellent care of my kitten. She was back to herself and playing by the end of the day.
Payment options are inflexible, but understandable. They spend their time on your pet rather than chasing clients for payment. Beautiful modern facility with 2 waiting areas so pets don't need to mix unnecessarily.

This place has been phenomenal with all of my animals. Dr. Maniotti truly understands the needs of every animal both physically and emotionally. My pit loves going to the vet ever since we started going there. Brandi Lee is an exceptional vet tech and has a great personality with the animals and humans. We've had three of I think four vets and they were all wonderful.
When my cats went for their well visit and rabies they were more concerned with the treats they were giving them than anything they were doing medically including the vaccines.

Critical: Reliability We have used this vet since he first started and have always trusted the best care for our animals and now they can no longer accommodate us when our pet is very ill. As the improvements were made over the years the level of care is not as it was. I will be moving all of our pets to another Veterinarian.
