I didn’t appreciate how they handled the situation with my cat Paris and my 18 year old daughter bringing him since I was out-of-town . They demanded money while my daughter was crying over making a decision to put him to sleep. I felt like he didn’t have to die. No empathy or compassion.

Dr. Summer and her staff were extremely kind and caring when I came in extremely worried that my dogs got into mouse poison. They were very reassuring and open about the treatment plan from the get go. Yes, it is expensive after hours and you might have to wait a bit because it is an emergency vet. I personally would rather spend the money to ensure my dogs are okay, and I’m glad I did. They were open with the pricing and asked for consent before doing any work so there were no surprise charges. I also received a military discount, which was extremely helpful, as my husband is away on active duty. I would recommend them for emergency services to anyone in need. I drove from Greenwood to have my dogs treated by them, and I would do it again tomorrow if I had to. Thank you for taking care of my babies and one worried dog mom!

If you have a pet and need emergency or after-hours vet needs, DO Not, I repeat, DO NOT go to Oasis Animal Hospital/Emergency Center in Mauldin, SC. We had to take my daughter's dog there on Saturday morning to get some staples in her leg due to an unfortunate accident at home with some scissors.. First of all, I understand that the fee for after-hours/emergency visits will be more than a standard office hour visit. I totally get that because they are there on the weekends and after hours providing much-needed services when they could be at home with their family. Totally get that. What I don't understand is how they can, in good conscience, charge astronomical fees for medication and an Elizabethan Collar. We are not talking about a slight markup here. You will see in the photos below that we were charged $55.00 for a plastic collar that we could have purchased at any pet store for $15.99 or less. That is 3 1/2 times more than the retail cost at the store. Next, the antibiotic medication that was prescribed was $96.88 for 14 pills. That is $6.92/each pill. The first online pet medication provider that came up had the same medication for $0.75/each which would have been $10.50 plus overnight shipping of $19.99 totaling $30.49 at the very most. Granted I was not present when she was taken there on Saturday and they do give an estimate of the treatment plan before they do anything. My point is, if you are standing there with a sick, injured or possibly life-threatening problem with your beloved pet, and they will not do any kind of treatment until you sign that estimate,, are you going to sit there and go online and do price comparisons or call another animal hospital to get an estimate of treatment there? No. I think it's sad that these people are taking advantage of people coming in with an emergency after hours and being charged 3x or more what they would have been charged Monday - Friday, during regular business hours. Unfortunately, we can't schedule illnesses and emergencies during business hours. That being said, charge what you want for the fee to see them or to even put a few staples in. My problem is when you charge these ridiculous prices for goods, knowing that you will get that price, because you are in a dire situation. I did call and speak with the office manager this morning. I asked her if they charge more for these goods during emergency hours than they do during regular business hours, to which she replied "yes". Her rationale for doing so is that you are getting the medicine and goods right then and not having to order them online or go to another store to get them. She said they charge that much extra because they have to keep those things on hand for emergency visits. That's like me going to CVS on Monday through Friday to pick up prescription medication, and the following month, going back on a Saturday or Sunday to pick it up and be charged 3.5x more because it's the weekend. Guess what? They still have to have that medication there for the people picking up during the week. I just think it's very sad and unethical that these people are taking advantage of their customers because of what day or time of the week it is. Also, the office manager kept trying to talk over me and would not let me finish a single sentence while I was trying to explain this to her. I told her I would be sharing this and she said that was "fine", and that there would be a rebuttal. Please share this because I feel like they are taking advantage of people because they have an emergency.

** I would like to add that the office manager "could not" tell me what the charge for the medication and the collar would have been during normal operating hours. I did ask. **

The vet that I have been using in town has become too expensive for me and so I called Oasis to see if they could see my dog for a couple of unexpected issues. They were able to fit me in within an hour of me calling to ask. The staff was warm, friendly, and attentive. I was honest about my less than ideal financial situation and the vet tech bent over backwards to ensure that I wouldn't be charged for anything that wasn't absolutely necessary.

They were very transparent about their recommended services and provided a quote to ensure that I was comfortable with the pricing and agreed to the services. The pricing was very reasonable- I spent a total of $250 for an exam, a urinalysis, an eye stain, and two steroid/antibiotic ointments. This was amazing pricing in my opinion, as my previous vet charged $250 for simply a urinalysis and a week of antibiotics. I could go on and on about my experience at Oasis. It truly was the best vet experience I've had in years.

Everyone I spoke to was very nice and professional. They took care of my dog, who is very skittish around new people. The Vet came out explained all associated costs up front as well as making sure I understood what each treatment was for. I am very happy with the service.

I think Mrs Cassie is the best groomer around! Henley comes out looking so pretty after a visit with her. All of the staff at Oasis show love and kindness to Henley. She knows they love her! I have never had a bad experience with Oasis and I highly recommend them!

My grand pup comes there and we have had to bring him and pick him up a lot and the front office and the assistants and the vets are the best ever! He was so scared and they made him feel so comfortable and he finally calmed down after getting that special treat and special treatment! They are the best bar none! That dog loves coming now especially when he recognizes the faces of the workers and knows that treat is coming! Thanks for being so sweet to him!

Put this number in your phone. 5 x 5 x 5 x 5 x 5 stars. It is a unique benefit to have the services of an emergency vet that is *ALSO* and at the same time operating as a preventative care/well-child services vet. The vibe and patient flow were unmistakably different from any emergency vet I've visited. I say that with *ZERO* criticism of any of the many emergency-only units I've visited.

This was just a whole other level. Great ratios of staff and nurses who were as smart as they were kind. And they were *super* kind. Doctors were communicative, accessible, and capable. For real: put their number in your phone.

I would HIGHLY recommend this practice for your pets. My dog (age 12) unfortunately has recently passed. He has been going there since a puppy. They have enhanced the clinic to include Emergency Hospital, and has added many doctors, and an educated staff. Their hearts are definitely in the best interest of the pets they serve. They all were so kind to Bentley, and knew him by name.

They also give an estimate before service so you know what to expect. They brought in a doctor that specializes in abdominal ultrasound for our boy. It's obvious that they have a real heart in what they do. Dr. Kristen was never in a hurry when discussing all his problems. The staff, including the Groomer are all so very kind. I'm sad our boy is not with us, but we know he has had the very best care possible. Thank you to everyone at Oasis!

We are so thankful for Oasis Animal Hospital and Veterinary Services. The receptionists, vet techs, and veterinarians always remember our dogs-greeting them by name on the way in the door. Our Doberman is a sweet soul who is reaching her last days with us. Everyone inside the building showed love and compassion towards us and Lila. The veterinarian comforted us, shared personal stories, and wrote sweet things on her records for the day.

I cannot express how thankful we are to be a part of their family. Their family made this difficult time easier and we love them for it. I encourage anyone with animals to use Oasis. You will not regret it. Update: We recently got a puppy. Oasis is a wonderful place. They do not over charge and provide cost options. We always get estimates-and it's helpful.

The doctors, vet technicians, and receptionists are 100% animal lovers. They do the work because they love animals and the people who own them. I only wish we found them earlier.

Oasis animal hospital was there when no one else was open because of the snow storm and thank goodness for them. My dog needed emergency surgery and they were very professional, caring, informative and took amazing care of my baby. If you are ever in need of an emergency vet call oasis. The staff is amazing! Thank you so much!

This place is good, but also beware, you will spend a fortune! We went up with fears that our cat had broken her paw. After waiting a good bit of time (which is understandable, they're an emergency vet) they finally came and got our cat. About 45 mins go by and the vet comes out to talk to us and said that she didn't think her paw was broken (she was very kind, and wanted the best for our cat) However, wanted to get X-rays and medication.

We asked for a quote on the X-rays, and that came back as $430, and that wasn't including the $150 (that i am aware of, being in a panic, I could've read wrong) we had just paid to have her seen. we declined and decided to go home seeing that the vet had worked with her paw/leg, and said that she didn't think it was broke. We get home and we're still worried about her cause she's being very lethargic.

I was feeling around her leg and comparing it to her good one, and have determined that it is in fact broke down at her paw. Just wish the vet would've noticed this, and we could've dealt with this in a better manner. With that being said, everyone is human, and it was very easily missed. They are very good at what they do, and I understand that have to make money as well. Just wasn't expecting this right after Christmas! Thank you Oasis for taking care of my girl while y'all had her!

We were pleasantly surprised with the speed when we took our dog to daytime urgent care. After multiple very long waits at the other pet ER in the area, we couldn't believe that we were seen within 15 minutes of arriving. The vet and techs were friendly and listened to our concerns. Our dog, who doesn't always warm to people quickly, behaved very well for all on staff. Though the drive was a little farther for us, it was well worth it! We will definitely be going to Oasis if they are open when we have an urgent need.

Henley loves Oasis! She runs to the door and can't wait to get inside. We went for her yearly exam, shots, and grooming with Mrs. Cassie last week and she came out looking precious! I have never had a bad experience with Oasis and I highly recommend them!

Oasis was my second emergency vet visit in the same day. When we visited a different vet, they left my dog and I in the car for an hour and half and then forgot about us in the waiting room for another almost 2 hours. I immediately left and called Oasis and arrived at 10:45 PM. They saw my dog shortly after and the vet came out to understand what happened.

She was very informative of what looked to be the issue, how my dog was responding and immediately removed most of my worries. The staff were extremely friendly and also really helpful during the visit. My dog and I were all done and headed home less than an hour and a half later. Highly recommend this for emergency visits if you are looking for professional and caring staff.

I saw some of the reviews where they do say it's expensive, but it was fairly inline with the other emergency visit place. The X-ray costs were very similar to what my primary vet was and another emergency vet clinic had estimated it would be 400-600 minimum, depending on what's wrong with the dog. Overall, their prices were really similar to other hospitals that I called around to.

Overall I am extremely glad that I picked Oasis after the first terrible emergency vet. The urgency, professionalism and caring at this vet was phenomenal and I hope them all the best. Thanks for taking care of my dog!

This place was a miracle. I woke up on a Sunday morning to my sweet 15 year old 1.2 pound teacup Chihuahua curled up, defecating on himself and Harbored breathing. I had no clue what to do or who to call. Luckily my daughter and ex-husband were on their way and were able to locate via Google this wonderful place. They told us to head right over. It took us 10 minutes to get there; they did a lot of the paperwork from my car and then got us immediately into a room.

We did not wait long and when we got into the room we were treated so well and given time but not too much time before they did what was needed to be done. It was an amazing experience although it was terribly hard. He did not suffer long and oasis definitely made this the priority. I was so relieved that I didn't have to wait for hours in a crowded waiting room.

Because it was euthanasia they took us straight back and we were able to give Lenny the time and love that he needed before he peacefully passed. When it is time, it is time, and Oasis hospital knew exactly what to do. We are forever grateful.

My baby girl Bambi began having seizures a few days in a row, and we couldn't get them under control with her natural treatment that we had been using for years. So we rushed Bambi to Oasis on 11/10, the staff had us in and out in no time. The doctor came out to talk with us, and they also came out to approve everything before they started any treatment which I loved. All of them were extremely friendly, and knowledgeable! We are so thankful for all that they did for us

Absolutely recommend Oasis Animal Hospital. They ask to call & wait in your car once you arrive to your appointment. Very smart and clean since you know. Covid. they always take my puppy into a room as soon as we are scheduled for the appointment. They give you a run down of what they're going to perform on your animal and then over prices. I think this is very smart business so you know exactly what the price will be/if you can afford it before they begin the process.

The nurses there are SO SWEET & genuine. They shower the animals with love and remember your animal from previous appointments. They offer free weigh-ins along with free toenail trims in between your appointments or during the actual appointment. My puppy came in super malnourished, covered in blisters and had super dry flaky skin. (Rescued her) After just 2 visits all of that had cleared up with their recommendations/topical treatments. So happy I found them!

We took are dog to the emergency clinic due to her having issues. We were told that she was fine and given medication for her to use. Less than a week later we come home to find our dog had died. She was only three years old. They obviously misdiagnosed her or did not care enough to check her property.

I had to use them once for after hours care for my cat. They were very expensive, even compared to other emergency vets. Considering the staff wasn't wearing masks, I'm not sure why we weren't allowed inside. Other emergency clinics had a 3 to 4 hour wait, so this was my only choice. I was seen at a reasonable time.

FLEAS, FLEAS, FLEAS, My dog was there for 2 hours and literally was covered in fleas. My dog never had a flea problem. DISGUSTED. And not only that my dog was in so much pain and they kept her for what with a 15 minute consult for 2 hours and never even gave her pain meds, Nor did they have specifics of her issues when they brought her out

My dog was hit my a car after hours. We called several emergency vets in the area, but we couldn't get anyone on the phone. I called Oasis, spoke to a nice lady, she took all of my information, she was reassuring, happy to help, told us to go ahead to the office. Got to the office around 10:00p, employees were hanging out in the parking lot. The second we pulled in a girl came out of the door, doing everything in her power to talk us into going Emergency clinic in Greenville.

She wouldn't stop talking long enough for us to say a word. Then other employees started coming out getting in their cars and turning outside and inside lights off. It was obvious they just wanted to go home. She even had the audacity to say well we would love to hear how it goes. AWFUL experience!

I cannot recommend this Veterinary Emergency Center more highly. I took my very sick 11yo dog who is also deaf and blind to them on a Sunday. Everyone was extremely caring and loving as well as taking the best care of him medically. They have cared for my Tucker like he was family and I will forever be grateful.

This place is not the same since Dr. Brandt retired and sold it to these people. The people including the Dr. have no heart, or they do not know how to show empathy. Their only focus is if you can pay and how much you can pay. If it's after 2:30 and you don't have an appointment you will easily be pushed to the Emergency appointment times which is more expensive. I've been once since Dr. Brandt left and will not go back!

My little dog was dying of cancer. I had an appointment with our Vet already setup, except, death decided to come early; in doing so it caused her significant pain & suffering. I decided to call Oasis ER for help. What a mistake. This place didn't care that she was suffering for lack of $12 dollars I did not have on a Sunday night right after Christmas during a pandemic! Want be getting a recomendation from me. This place gets a negative 100% for it's callousness. $12.

This vet is the best of the best! The staff is genuinely caring about the comfort and wellbeing of my old girl, Lily. They are beyond patient with me (as I can be very high maintenance when it comes to my best dog friend). They're wonderful, the building is clean and the prices are very fair. I won't go anywhere else. Thank you Dr. Brandt, Jenni, Jessi, Chloe and the whole crew!

Oasis Animal Hospital is, without a doubt, the best vet's office I've ever taken my dogs to. We had a bit of an emergency early on a Saturday morning and they quickly got us in without an appointment. The front desk staff and the veterinarian were all great. They explained everything in a way that was easy to understand, didn't try to up-sell us unnecessary services or products and even sent a "Get Well" card in the following days. Best of all, the entire emergency visit cost a fraction of what we expected.

Oasis Animal Hospital is a great place for your pet! Dr. Brenda Brandt is very pro and easy to work with. She was very knowledgeable about our cat's thyroid condition, and gave us treatment options. Her staff was way cool too, helping us get our info from the previous Vet in Portland, Oregon. The assistant, Jessi was very nice to our cat and helped with the billing details with no problems. Jessi graduated from the veterinary assistant program at Greenville Technical College.

This vet offers boarding, day care, grooming, pick up/delivery, house calls, vaccination clinics, and other services. This is a very complete veterinary hospital. They are open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8am-5:30pm. Also open on Wednesday and Saturday from 8am-12noon. You should call in advance if possible to make an appointment for vet services. Dr. Brandt is a graduate of Kansas State University, College of Veterinary Medicine.

She is married and has two grown children. She is a member of the South Carolina Association of Veterinarians, the Greater Greenville County Association of Veterinarians and the American Veterinary Medical Association. If you need emergency pet care after hours, they recommend you contact: Animal Emergency Clinic at 393 Woods Lake Road, Greenville 29607. 864-232-1878

This animal hospital is well run, friendly, reasonably priced and a joy to work with. Our two dogs LOVE going to the vet (how weird is that? That is how good they are!) and they come home from boarding happy and un-stressed!
