My cat was sick and had to make an emergency appointment. Arrived there at midnight and Dr Spencer was waiting for us. Can not thank him enough for that. He took care of my boy and explained everything to me what might happened. After a couple of treatment my four legged friend was healthy again. All the staff are nice people.

We took our boxer to Oakland Park Animal Hospital at 10:45 PM because she was limping and whimpering in pain. Dr. Ratnoff met ushered and examined her. He took X-rays to confirm the damage to her knee. He was wonderful with her and eased her pain.. I would recommend Dr. Ratnoff to anyone. He explained everything in a non-clinical manner so we would understand.

DR. Spencer and staff saved my dog, Lola's life last year. Even though she is with my ex now, I'm Forever grateful how he saved her life. With his fast thinking and skills in an emergency, I felt confident that Lola was going to pull through. He always showed Lola so much love, compassion and care. My favorite Christine also was there by my side last year and part of this year with such compassion for my baby girl Lola!

Customer Testimonials

They are so caring and wonderful and make you feel right at home. It’s so hard to find Avian vets especially ones that really care for your bird and they are incredible!

We love the staff at Oakland Park Animal hospital and Dr Ratnoff is the only vet for our pets! He is kind, personable, and cares. Highly recommend.

One of the few animal hospitals that treat rabbits. Service was excellent and my bunny has been doing way better since the last time I took him here. The doctors really know what they are doing and really care.

Last weekend had to bring in my harlee in for emergencie on the busy Saturday midday the staff got her in in no time at all and was able too do blood test on her and find the problem and they where able to get her the proper shots within a few hours later she was doing 100% better Dr Rattnoff and staff have been a great team for my 3 beagles over the the last 5 Year’s just wanted to say thank you.what started it was we used Dr S... on US1 for 20 Year’s had a wonderful dog George go to his vets office brought him in one day for problems they said he had diabetes and gave him only 6 months to live because he was a 130# dog and two shots a day had to go back with one of our cats because he went to jail (was traped sent to BCAC) told the Dr about George still alive 6.5 Year’s latter all they said was SO I guess that’s what happens when you sell to a large company. So thanks again for the wonderful service from you and your staff Robbie singleton.

Spaying or neutering your dog or cat is one of the most important things you can do for the health of your pet. Spaying or neutering an animal prevents unwanted pregnancies and litters. Having your pet spayed or neutered can also improve its health and behavior. Spaying and neutering companion animals prevents unwanted pets from struggling on the streets or winding up in shelters. Each year, about 3.9 million dogs and 3.4 million cats enter animal shelters in the United States. Sadly, many of these pets are put down, as shelters are often overcrowded and underfunded.

You may have heard of using cold laser therapy for humans, but did you know that this alternative type of therapy can also be used on dogs and cats? There are many benefits that cold laser therapy can provide for your pet, and it can also help treat a variety of conditions. Cold laser therapy is a noninvasive procedure that involves penetrating a light into the fur and the surface of the skin in order to promote a process called photobiostimulation. This is a type of chemical reaction that helps to release endorphins, which in turn helps to relieve pain, improve blood circulation, and stimulate injured cells in order to promote faster healing.
