I continue to ask for Dr. Gillespie because he treats me with respect and kindness, he never makes me feel he's in rush and that my questions are unimportant. I continually recommend him to people in my area and will continue to ask for him! Lobby is very welcoming and comfortable. The staff deserves 5 stars for customer service, they are amazing!
Oakland Animal Hospital is a proud participant in the Bark For Life noncompetitive walk for the American Cancer Society. We have proudly sponsored the event in 2012 and 2013. Our employees socialize with participants and their dogs, passing out bandanas, frisbees, and all sorts of fun goodies. We are able to see so many of our existing families and make some new friends as well.

My dog Lillie tore her clothes. Dr. Duncan was absolutely amazing. He made sure we understood what the surgery would entail. They were very up front about cost and gave me a min and max of what the surgery could be. We are now 5 months out from her surgery and Lillie is happy and not in any pain. Which I am so thankful for. I cannot say enough about how wonderful they were

Dr Booth and his team exceeded my ecpectations. He is Professional, pleasant, concise, and gentle. His time examining our Golden was not rushed, or in anyway unpleasant. Lexie, our dog was treated with gentleness & respect. I Highly Recommend this Veterinarian clinic. durring a very recent illness, Lex was given incredible guidance and love. Lexie passed away after an 8 week illness. She gave us 11 1/2 years of LOVE. We will adopt another precious golden by Jan 2021 & Dr Booth will be her GP. Our newest Golden is " Marta" she is thriving and healthy.!

Took our doberman to see Dr Duncan on a referral. After a close exam the decision was no surgery which was a relief, but the following day he called and left a message about receiving the xray films from our usual vet at 830 in the evening. The is incredible customer service/patient care. We are Thankful for a vet this caring.

There are not enough kind things I can say I about the veterinarians, vet techs, and staff overall here. My dog had been coming here from first shots, to Dr. Farr diagnosing her Addison's disease, Dr. Booth and others treating her on a monthly basis, and everything else to keep her healthy for about 8 years. After monthly visits, these people became like family.
And even though they've got hundreds of other patients, they made me feel like my pup and I were family to them. They even made the hardest day a little bit easier. I couldn't imagine any other people being there for her last days and for me during that. This is a place for people who don't see their pets as pets, but as family. Thank you all so much.

We took both of our 5-yr old cats here with hopes of establishing a relationship with a new vet office Everyone we encountered here was very kind and professional. We had a short wait in the waiting room prior to being taken to the exam room. We didn't wait long to see the dr either. We didn't feel rushed and appreciated the genuine concern they had for our pets. I felt informed and comfortable with them.
