Our appointment book is computerized which allows us to efficiently make appointments for you and your pet. Our receptionist and team will attempt to accommodate all requests to the best of our ability. Our hours of operation are located on our home page. We have a veterinarian and personnel on duty 5 days a week who are trained and equipped to handle any urgent care your pet has. Usually an emergency team consists of at least one veterinarian and several technicians working together to save a pet's life.

My cat has had an on and off ear infection going on for over 2 years, I've taken her to 3 other vets to find out what's wrong with her to only receive no answers, they would just clean out her ear and give me ear drops that lasted about a few months and then her ear infection would return. One vet gave her a shot of convenia (which nearly killed her) another vet wanted to do surgery which would've run me around $1000.00. Frustrated I was told this place is really good and very caring.
I decided to bring my cat into here to see if I could get a different opinion, they asked me to bring in a list of all foods and treats I give her, upon bringing her in the Dr. Took his time examining her and took a look at the foods and treats I was giving her, he cleaned out her ear and put medicine in it and gave her an allergy shot. The rest of the day my cat was mad at me, but, the very next day and since my cat has become the cat I haven't seen in over 2 years, she's not in pain anymore she doesn't sleep all day.
She's back to being my shadow and playful again. I can't believe it was the treats I was giving her that she loved and craved causing her to be sick and in pain, and I'm glad I brought her here for another opinion.

Dr. Bowden was our vet for years, until our last & final dog passed. He takes time to explain his diagnosis so a pet owner understands & gives alternative options. What I liked most about him is when my dog became very ill & near death & had to be hospitalized, Bowden monitored my dog himself during the night. I'll be forever grateful to him for healing my beloved Cairn Terrier when he was near death. My dog survived bc of Bowdens skill & years of experience. He is a no-nonsense professional with a wonderful & supportive staff.

My 16 year old cat seemed to have an upper respiratory infection. I called Oak Village Animal Hospital & they were able to squeeze me in same day. The woman who answered had empathy in her voice and was helpful. Dr. Bowen was awesome with my cat, and talked me through everything. I hope that I don't have to make many visits here, but I will definitely keep coming back.

Best experience I've ever had at an Animal Hospital. The staff was very nice and cheerful and helpful the second I walked in with my dog. They offered him a treat. They didn't mind that he jumped up to hug them and give them puppy kisses. The Dr. Was a true animal whisperer. He literally whispered to my dog to sit and relax and my dog listened in a a second. Literally the 1st time I've ever seen that. I will definitely continue to bring my animal's to that office. It truly was the best most professional experience ever.

I would very much recommend this Animal Hospital! Dr Bowen and all the ladies that are on the staff were so nice! You can tell they care about your animal. Our dog Lucy had to have surgery and we were quoted over $4,000 for it by another Animal Hospital. Well Lucy had her surgery at Oak Village yesterday and it was about 80% less than what we were quoted. I’m so very happy we looked around and found our fur baby a new vet that takes care of her like she was their own! Thank you OVA!!!

Dr. Bowen is amazing! I took my puppy Lulu to get spayed on Monday and I was really nervous as this is my first puppy and he made me feel so comfortable. He is super knowledgeable and the staff is super friendly. They truly do care and love animals here. The prices are reasonable and I liked how they kept her overnight for recovery and they called me when she woke up to give me a follow up on how she was doing. I'm so glad to have found this vet and I highly recommend anyone looking tospay spay/neuter their puppy to come here!

The first experience was an impressionable experience. This is what happened from the initial call, to the visit, to the after care. They truly care. The staff accepted me and my new baby with open arms. I asked questions and no one made me feel as if I was bothering them. They have a customer/patient for life. I must say again, Ronan and I can tell they really care. Thank you for exceptional customer and patient care.

Dr. Bowen and his staff are truly a blessing! The personal care they give your pets is second to none! Recently, we brought our cat in who had a massive infection and thanks to the outstanding treatment she was given, she pulled through remarkably and is getting stronger every day! I cannot say enough good things about them and will continue bringing our pets there for their care.

Dr. Bowen at Oak Village has been my dogs vet for 32 years. Recently my dog Gabe was very ill and had to be put down. Him and his staff were so caring and helpful. They went above and beyond their jobs. You can tell they really have a love for animals and it's not just a job. We are so grateful for everything they did.
