Diagnosed fiance's cat with cancer. After amputation, they found out she was misdiagnosed. When the histopathoLogy report was done on her leg afterwards it was found out that the mass was in fact benign. Cat's leg was amputated unnecessarily. The diagnosis and advice which was given, combined with the actions of the doctors at Blue Pearl Veterinary Partners resulted in an unnecessary limb amputation.

This is the last place you will want to take your pet. I have heard from 3 different people in the last few months that each of their cats went into comas at this place. Several others dogs have died in their care and one will likely never walk again thanks to them. They are known for misdiagnosing and charging huge sums of money, doing tests that are completely unnecessary, screwing up something as simple as stitch removal and botching surgeries and using faulty equipment and expired medicines (read the online reviews and see for yourself). The glowing ones you can bet are written by their PR machine. Most of the emergency vets are NOT "specialists" but straight out of school and are learning on the job on YOUR pet charging you over $150 to walk in the door and to see a student who does not know what they are doing! DO NOT GO HERE!!!! Money is their main objective. NOT your pet. These are phony people with dollar signs in their eyes and they will say and do anything to get you to spend a fortune on your animal even if it doesn't need to be done. That is NOT a caring vet.

Value for moneyTheir main goal is to make as much money off you as possible.

  • too many for my blood pressure to handle

3000 dollars for 2 overnight stays just so I could stay up for another 48 hours getting ticks off my cat and vacuuming/bleaching my home. He is an indoor cat, and got them there at his overnight stay. Unauthorized tests were done. They were so disorganized. The Dr. came right off a surfboard from Southern Cali, no brain, whatsoever.

They might have good ratings for "care" but that's mainly because as incompetent as they are, the receptionists were more knowledgeable and caring for the patients than the doctors were. Specialists in nothing. In the words from one of the doctors, "we mainly treat blatantly obvious things such as dogs' eyes popping out of their sockets." So, if its something you can't manage at 3 a.m. with your beloved animal, use this as the very last resort, just to keep them alive till morning.
