Laser Surgery
Report
All the doctors at Northwest Animal Care Hospital perform laser surgery for the comfort of your pet. Using the laser for surgery allows your pet to recover more quickly with less bleeding, less pain and less inflammation.
Dental Care
Report
We all know how important dental care is for humans but in many ways proper dental care is even more important to dogs and cats. Regular dental cleanings are a vital part of the overall wellness plan for your pets. When regular dentals are not provided, bacteria from the mouth can actually enter into the bloodstream and damage internal organs.
Rehabilitation Therapy
Report
Northwest Animal Care remains at the forefront of new technologies and advanced treatment planning. We are one of the very few hospitals in Washington State with an underwater treadmill and doctors certified in hydrotherapy. Hydrotherapy has become very popular as an effective (and fun) rehabilitative treatment plan for pets recovering from surgery or with chronic inflammatory conditions. We are also among the few practices to offer stem-cell therapy and blood platelet therapy
In House Diagnostics
Report
Northwest Animal Care Hospital is fully equipped to run the necessary tests on site to provide our doctors with the information they need to form a diagnosis and develop a treatment plan FAST. Digital X-Rays, Dental X-Rays, bloodwork, laboratory tests and ultrasounds are all performed on site.

The best animal care hospital I've been do. The vets and staff are very friendly and very thorough. My puppy was neutered and very scared and they gave him extra attention and love. The follow-up was great too.

Great hospital! Dr. Logan is very knowledgeable when it comes to pocket pets! I have a mischief of rats and also do rat rescue. Dr. Logan and the team have always been accommodating and friendly. The staff I've met have all been incredible! Keep up the good work Will recommend to all my friends with small critters

I started taking my dogs to this veterinarian a little over a year ago. Over the past year, I have noticed that they seem to be more concerned about pushing services and profit. I understand prices need to increase as time goes on, but to charge a "staff admin" fee of almost $15 (for each pet), is absurd. This place operates like a corporate VCA-type animal hospital.

The care at NW was decent (why I give a 2-star and not a 1-star), and there are some techs there that are quite pleasant to deal with, but how can you increase all of your rates AND charge a "staff admin" fee like that? It makes no sense. Include that with your initial rate increases and call it a day. It makes your customers feel punished. This has made me secure vet services elsewhere. Good job, NW Animal Care. Not impressed.

If 10 stars were available, Dr. Johnson & Team would be receiving this score for how well they have treated our little Moose (English Bulldog) over this past year. He has had three surgeries, changing his life dramatically, so he may enjoy a healthier life and has since. Dr. Johnson explains everything thoroughly to you, so you have the best knowledge moving forward. Moose pulls us to go into the office to see everyone, this says a lot about this team.

We travel up from Maple Valley just to have the best for our little Moose. I did my research and I hope this will help you in your decision to have the best care for your pet.

Latest Covid Restrictions: although I'm a huge fan of this clinic, I'm quite upset with the latest Covid restrictions of them not allowing us to go in the facility with our pets. They said it's "for the safety and welfare of our staff". Okay, so we're in the 3rd year of Covid.are you saying that when your staff isn't at work, they don't go into grocery stores, restaurants, coffee shops, bars, retail stores, etc? Listen, I'm all about taking precautions to be safe.

I get that maybe you don't want people lounging in the waiting area. But letting my dog go in without me, to me, has the feeling of handing over my baby, who can't tell me what happened during the visit. I don't like it. I just don't like it al all! Oh and I hope I'm not having to deal with this inconvenience because 100% of your employees are not vaccinated. Because if they were, why the restriction. And if they're not.we'll NOT my problem!

I don't normally write reviews, but this is honestly the best vet I have found. I came to Dr. Johnson for a second opinion and he is an amazing, caring, competent doctor. He is just as thorough as I am in taking care of my best friend. He listened to all my concerns/research and explained in depth the reasoning behind his logic, which I appreciated and always learn a great deal from.

The whole staff are polite, friendly, and transparent. But most of all there is a noticeable difference when I pick my dog up from this vet, she is not stressed out like at other places and I know she is in good hands. I know she will get the individual care and attention she deserves. My pug has struggled with many health issues over the years and I have gone to many vets waisting much time and money.

I am just so thankful I finally found a good vet to get to the root of the problem. They respect my finances and are always up front about cost from the start and don't try to overcharge. I would travel across the state to come to this vet, and we will not be going anywhere else anytime soon. Thank you for your service!

I have only had nothing but great experiences with NW. My cats have been treated so great here. I always feel like I am being heard and never rushed. The techs and vets are beyond awesome, always smiling and nice. I feel very lucky to have found the perfect place for all my cats needs.

Not sure what to say except they're always trying to upcharge. Had an older rescue, they wanted to do double hip surgery out of the gate, after routine checkup. $10,000. Just not a good feeling about this "corporate" veterinary.

Northwest Animal Care has my business forever. I contacted them after frantically calling 15 other clinics and getting turned down at each one. NWAC heard my distress and my dog's emergency symptoms and told me they'd see us within an hour. We rushed to the clinic and were greeted with a warm and calming staff. They treated our dog, Wesley, with the upmost care and attention, making sure my husband and I were comfortable with every step.

The next day, Wesley's symptoms weren't improving and they recommended hospitalization. We were terrified, as Wesley's never stayed overnight at the vet, but the staff was so lovely and treated our dog with such love. Our dog is a nervous rescue who has a history of biting when scared, but the vet assured me she has worked with dogs like him and told me they are a "fear-free" clinic.

They did whatever they could to make sure he was comfortable and felt safe. Wesley saw the vet tech from the night before and ran up to her, tail wagging, even though he wasn't feeling good. My husband and I were immediately settled, as Wesley is rarely excited to see new people. He stayed for 3 days and the staff updated us every morning and night.

Though his vet stay was one of the scariest weekends of our lives, NWAC made us feel at ease and we knew he was getting the best care. We got to visit him on day 3 (photo attached) and we could see how well he was being taken care of. The bill at the end was extremely reasonable and Wesley is feeling much better! They even called us the day after we brought him home to check in on us.

We are never taking our animals anywhere else and want to keep NWAC all to ourselves, but we're so happy with their service, we can't help but brag about our experience. Thank you again.

I've been looking everywhere for an exotic vet that would see my hedgehog (Rosie) that wasn't booked out 3 months. Finding a vet to do an exam on an exotic animal without charging a premium is very rare but this clinic has very reasonable prices! To start the staff is so friendly and helpful they really seemed to care about every little detail and wanted to get Rosie better as fast as possible.

The doctor was kind and gentle with her, he was patient when she was too afraid to uncurl for her exam diagnosed her quickly and confidently. I can absolutely say for any future card my animals need I will be making 40 minute drive to get them here!

Great experience with Dr. Johnson and Dr. Compton. We initially spoke to Dr. Johnson and Dr. Compton did the laser nares surgery on both my Frenchbulldogs, both were spayed and one had laser palate surgery all in the same day. I was sooo nervous and anxious but Dr. Compton answered all my questions and explained what they were going to do. He even called me a few times between their surgeries which I very much appreciated.

My babies are doing great and so much more energy and HAPPY! I live down South but the trip down North is not a problem because I know my girls are in very caring, loving hands. Thank you so very much for putting me at ease during their surgeries.

I love how well "Lilly" has been taken care of at NorthWest Animal Hospital. She has gone there since she was 3 mths old and she is almost 15 now. She recently had her teeth cleaned and some teeth pulled. She did great! They took very good care of her. They have grooming and boarding services that we use, as well

Will not be bringing my animals back here! I've been coming to this vet for over 5 years- taking both of my dogs here and I do 100 percent agree with the other 1 star reviews- NW animal hospital has taken a huge change for the worst over the last year or so and had some serious change over in their staff. I no longer feel like they care about their jobs or my animals, they have Mis-diagnosed my dog and it's sad because we used to think so highly of their Vets.

I have had nothing but hassles with their front of house staff and the staff I've dealt with are not knowledgeable or even have any idea of what the heck is going on. I miss the old staff, and the old vets. Unfortunately will not be spending my money or recommending this vet to anyone anymore. Good luck.

Friendly staff, but overly expensive. Northwest Animal Care required me to schedule a separate appt to diagnose whether our dog had an ear infection, and charged us $105 for the office visit, only to prescribe us an over-the-counter medication (not antibiotics). Even more shocking was the upcharge. They charged us $85 for an over-the-counter ear medication, when the same medication was available for $20.99 at Petco.

We went to Northwest Animal Care for a number of years, but may change vets now. Rather than helping customers with advice and pet care, everything is oriented around finding ways to charge additional fees for each visit, and they continue to raise prices.

I absolutely love taking my corgi to Northwest Animal Care Hospital. They’re very friendly, always attentive and are ready to answer any of my questions. Dr. Ostrowski is my absolute favorite— she is so sweet and loving with all of her patients and truly thinks about their best interest. I will never take my dog somewhere else. The front desk staff is AMAZING.

My corgi enjoys them all so much, that when we pull into the parking lot, she is pulling me all the way to the door! You won’t regret your decision choosing Northwest Animal Care Hospital as your vet 😊

Took my pup here for the first time to be seen for an ear infection. The receptionist was nice on the phone and squeezed us in for an appt same day. Everyone I dealt with here was friendly and helpful. I liked the vet a lot, she listened to my concerns, asked the right questions, and recommended the most appropriate services. The best part is she told me how much the charges would be before proceeding.

I can't say how much I appreciated that. I have 3 pups, one with lots of medical issues, and have left the vet shell shocked with unexpected charges after what I thought would be a visit for a minor injury or illness. I love knowing how much it will be before incurring the charges. Not only did the vet recommend the right treatment, I was not up-charged a large amount from the retail cost of the medication.

My pup is usually pretty anxious in new situations and with new people but I could tell she was at ease with the staff here. I have been looking for a vet in Everett since moving here a couple years ago and am glad that I've now found one that I like so much.

Pretty disappointed with this clinic. I've been taking my animals to them since they practically opened. I've noticed a huge turn over of staff lately and was going to start going somewhere else but decided to give them one more shot. I took in my dog for a second opinion for a dental. I was told the manager implemented a new policy that the rabies vaccine had to be updated or possibly a titer could be done.

Both my animals are over the age of 10 (ones almost 13) and have had all their core vaccinations. I asked if even the dog - who is almost 13, with kidney failure and severe allergies had to be vaccinated and they said yes, no exceptions. The doctor was also very snippy when I said only healthy animals should be vaccinated (that's literally on the vital from the manufacturer). I'm disappointed that they care more about following an outdated policy that what is in the best interest of my animals. And, that they're not more up to date on recent studies that indicate 97% of animals are fully immune for life after core vaccinations.

Brought our 12 year old cat in for eating/behavioral issues. She was given a clean bill of health even though she was having issues. 1 month later I had to take her to the Diamond Emergency Vet here in Everett due to continued health decline and within minutes they had to put my cat on oxygen. X-rays showed she had massive fluid on in her lungs and would have to live with a chest tube...needless to say we declined this and had to have her put to sleep.

If this business would have taken a little more time and did some x-rays on my cat, she probably could have been saved. I will never take another pet to Northwest Animal Care Hospital again.

I put my cat down here. As terrible as an experience as that is, they made it as easy as they could. I appreciated Ian's comfort through that trying time. They also didn't charge an arm and a leg, so that's always nice. They also do bunnies come to find so I'll be bringing my new bunny companion here soon! Looking forward to working with this vet more.

Kudos to Northwest Animal Care for running a tight ship under unusual circumstances as the pandemic has affected everyone. NW Animal Care is my senior chihuahua's new vet since moving up north, and I have to say that we very satisfied with their service. First, I really, really appreciate that they are so strict with social distancing. When you pull into the parking lot, there are signs outside with their telephone number.

Call the number and a tech will start the appointment by taking your name, number, and car make/model. They'll ask you initial questions about your pet/issues and which door you're closest to. When it's time for them to collect your animal, they'll meet you at that door and take your pet inside. You then return to your car, stay in the parking lot, and wait for them to call you.

The vet will call to guide you through the appointment: they'll ask questions, answer any of your questions, describe what they are doing, and determine a plan of treatment. They are also excellent about discussing cost up front during the second phone call and giving various options based on what you can afford. After the second phone call, they finish up with your pet and you receive a final phone call to pay, discuss meds (if any), and arrange to pick up your pet at the door.

One con: This place stays busy. It was hard for us to get in the same day for an urgent issue and if my dog worsened we would have had to take him to a different vet. My guy is getting up there in age and he's had to see the vet here a handful of times over the course of just a few months. Other than a mix up in communication over appointment time, we've been very happy with their transparency and customer service, including post-appointment follow-up phone calls.

I have been bring my dogs to Dr. Johnson since he opened his clinic. He has been wonderfull and very helpfull over the years, and we have recommeded him many times over. Over the past couple of years I have noticed a real drop in the quality of the service, other vets that are not very polite, and a very unhelpful front room staff. Not to say all are bad but there a few that could really use some training in customer service.

To get any real service I have to insist that I speak directly to Dr. Johnson. Today I called because one of my dogs had been exposed to kennel cough at the dog park. My Girfriend took her dog to her vet the same day, and they were really helpful to get him treated and started on meds. No problems and he has responded well. On the other hand, when I called Dr Johnsons office for my dog, I got told that the Dr. was unavailable and they would not be able to see my dog for a month.

When I explained that this was a urgent care case and he needed treatment I was told there was nothing that I could do and they could not help me. They are suposed to have urgent care approinments but when I asked for one I was turned away. This has not been the first time this has happend but I have always been able to talk them around or speak to Dr Johnson, this time my dog now has to suffer and I need to find a new vet that will acutally be helpful in a time of need. Very disapointed.

Our dog has been under the care of NWAC for over 9 years. I feel confident in their care of our dog. We've also boarded our dog here in the suites which are extremely nice and dogs have freedom and not kenneled. I think they have other boarding options, but wouldn't feel right about leaving our dog in kennel. We see Dr. Johnston. They do seem to have a lot of turnover with other doctors.

A little pricey from discussing with with friends who take their dogs elsewhere. But it's a modern clean facility with a staff interested in the care of our dog. They always follow up after every visit, even vaccines.

I first found Dr. Johnson when looking back in 2008 for a vet that could neuter a rabbit. Finding small pet vets, especially good ones, is very hard. Once seeing the quality care that Dr. Johnson provided for my rabbit I moved my dog over to him as well. We have been with Dr. Johnson since 2008 and he has seen 10 of my dogs over the years. He is a very kind man and it shows in how he has treated all of the animals over the years.

He is very honest with me on what my dogs need. He knows that we purposely adopt senior and/or special needs Cavaliers and English Toy Spaniels. So we spend a lot of money on vet care and don't have a ton of money for the extras. So I know when he tells me my dogs need something then they really need it.

They are wonderful with my babies!! I have 5 ferrets and they have taken fantastic care of them each time they have been in. I've heard and seen reviews that they cost a bit more. Not seen that in my case. Been presently surprised that each time the cost was less them I anticipated. But honestly even if they did cost a little more, what is they price you'd put on your baby. They treat my babies well, listen to my concerns, give it to me straight as my options and even have had follow up calls. So believe me when I say I love my vet!!

I will keep this short and sweet. Staff is friendly, however expect to wait 10-20 minutes past your scheduled appointment. My real issue is Dr. Lee diagnosed my dogs limping as a case of arthritis. This is after seeing x-rays and feeling his knee while he was sedated. However, since I moved to Mount Vernon, I went to a vet here and within 10 seconds of examining my Black Lab he thought it was a torn ACL.

After looking over the x-rays and consulting with a radiologist, yep, torn ACL. I would seek a second opinion for your pet, especially one as impactful and severe as a torn ACL!

We travel from Lake Steven for our 4 dogs and it's Totally worth the drive. You can tell that everyone that works there loves what they do because they're caring, reliable, and very knowledgeable. They're not afraid to get down on the floor and visit with the pups. We've had some rough patches with closer vets. So it's nice to know that Northwest Animal Care is our place.

If I could give zero stars I would. We used to go here with our two dogs. One of our fluffs ate some muck and ended up vomiting, and had not been eating or drinking etc. We brought her immediately in for a check up; they gave her an injection for pain in her spine and water under her skin for dehydration. We went home and after a few hours she just wouldn't get up to go outside to use the bathroom.

I thought maybe she still wasn't feeling well so I lifted and brought her out. Figuring she had water for dehydration put under her skin she would really need the bathroom. Needless to say she wouldn't, and couldn't stand on her back paws. This began a stressful few days. We brought her immediately back. Her back legs were just limp and she couldn't stand up on those paws.

They checked her out and couldn't find anything neurologically wrong and wanted to keep her in and do x-rays. We left her in their care overnight. They kept her sedated for pain as she was shaking. The next morning we were straight in to see her and they brought her out to the room. She still was not standing and was covered in her own urine and feces, half wet from a mini rinse.

I was furious and cleaned her with some baby wipes from my car. They said they didn't know what was happening, x-rays and blood work all fine. They had her still sedated for any pain and started meds for the diarrhea. They wanted to keep her in again, we didn't know what was going on and said ok. The main vet didn't seem interested or to know what was going on.

He was disinterested and shrugged us off over the entire situation. I came back twice that day to see her. They said she wouldn't eat. So I hand fed her myself and she was starving. Each visit I had to clean feces and urine off her. The following day I had enough. I went to visit her again first thing. She was unable to walk, sedated and crying at me.

I decided against the vets advise to not to take her home. I took her home. The vet was condescending but I was determined the initial injection they gave her for the pain had something to do with this. They denied this of course. Within an hour of being home and off any medication from them, she was outside struggling but able to finally walk. By that evening she was walking almost to full health.

I would not and could not recommend this vets in good conscience. It did not seem they cared, or that they were capable and of dealing with any sort of pet emergency. My dog has never had leg issues before or after this incident. I don't know what would have happened if I had not taken her home that day.

They killed my mouse. After a routine neuter his entire lower bowel fell out through his incision and I had to have him euthanized at another clinic 24 hours later. They never returned my money 500$+. And the manager was rude and belittling and wouldn't let me get off the phone when I told him I needed to call him back he continued to ask questions in a snobby tone such as "what exactly do you think we could have done better?" after I explained it to him several times already.

It took me a while to write this and I thought about going to small claims to get my money back but I just don't have the available time on my hands. In January I got two mice and after having them for a day or two realized they were different genders. I called a few places to get quotes on neutering the male because I still wanted to keep both.

They said it would be no problem and were friendly over the phone. I brought him in for his first visit and tech mentioned the doctor hadn't seen a mouse at their location yet because he was newer to the clinic. He made it sound like the doctor had done mice before. I expressed concerns that My mouse Cookie would chew on his incision. They said it was nothing to worry about.

I got him neutered and they added medication that hadn't been discussed with me prior to the invoice on asking the tech did not know why the medication was used. I later found out after he died it was spread over his incision because it was bitter to stop chewing. I asked for his medical notes three separate times once on his visit once when he died and once 2 days later after they again failed to send me anything.

They had three sentences on his entire surgery. Not proper SOAP notes. The receptionist mentioned on the phone after he died that they had never neutered a mouse before. The doctor had only done rats and the clinic had never seen a mouse at all! They never said this before he died. I feel like they wanted to do it as an experiment almost. In addition the receptionist said it was my mouses fault for chewing on himself. There was no indication of medication on his incision when I first took him home. Please don't take your pets here if you care about them.

We have been going here since my dog was a puppy. Place is clean but WOW the prices are RIDICULOUS! Now 4 and healthy I feel like every time I walk into the door it costs me $300-$500, also high vet turnover had 3 vets in 4 years. Last time we were in was kinda my final straw it was literally a sales pitch. My dog had a minor earn infection No shaking no scratching (yeah we need to clean his ears more frequently) after his normal shots (the reason we came in initially) and 10 mins with the vet and their "wellness exam" BAM! $300 vet bill.

One charge after another! We were told to come back in two weeks. I was hesitant because I knew it would just cost more. Well I was right. another $80 for yet another "wellness exam" and whatever other fees they tacked on. my god the dog had a wellness exam two weeks ago does he really need another one?! This just seems out of control. Maybe they will figure out why we didn't reschedule last appointment. because we are tired of the sales pitches and dr turn over.

I took my cat here for the first time this week, and was very happy with the care she received. We were checked in by a friendly receptionist, and quickly checked into an exam room. The vet staff were all super friendly, and they were able to quickly get my cat x-rayed and diagnosed. Dr. Johnson patiently explained several treatment options and let me choose the one I was comfortable with without pressuring me in any way. They were also very upfront about the costs, and didn't charge me for the nail trim.

First of all, Dr. Laura Robertson is a star, and the reason I decided to take the time to write this review. She has the best kennel side manner() of any vet I've ever met, and I've been lucky enough to find some really good ones. I met her around New Year's Eve 2017, when our precious Luna was in a 911 situation and needed a blood transfusion. Unfortunately, they didn't have the blood that Luna needed. Dr. Robertson found the closest vet that was able to accommodate Luna, called them to say we were on the way, and printed us directions on how to get there. Luna pulled through, but has had some other pre existing conditions that has needed attention. Dr. Robertson has gone out of her way NUMEROUS times to make sure our baby has the best course of action that we can afford.

She returned phone calls in the same day, within hours, and even fit Luna in for a visit at the last minute during her lunch break! I also want to give credit to Dr. Johnson, who performed Luna's arterial cruciate ligament surgery well before we ever met Dr. Robertson. He's fantastic! She healed very well, with very little discomfort.

Did I mention the vet techs?

Very sweet and comforting! One in particular. (I wish I knew her name)

Do your research folks. I did, and I will continue to bring my loved ones to this practice for years to come.

I've been taking my Dachshund her for a few years now, and I've really enjoyed my experiences with them. I took him in when he became lethargic and they kept me updated on every part of the process when we were trying to find out what was wrong. I really appreciate communication, especially when I'm clueless about medical terms and such, so it was nice having them to talk and hear what Howe thoughts were.

This review is for boarding only. We boarded our kitty here in December while we were out of town. They are only 5 minutes from my house which is great. Every person I dealt with was wonderful. They answered all my questions and I knew our kitty was in good hands. I will use them again when we need to board our cat.

This place is the BEST! They provide tons of care and attention during each visit, I have never felt rushed or left with questions because they are so thorough. My dog LOVES it here, and runs to their front door when we get out of the car. Their staff goes above and beyond. Last year when we had to put my beloved dog down, they provided everything possible to make our visit as comfortable as possible.

We were able to leave from a separate, private exit after the procedure, which was so helpful during that emotional time. No one wants to go through a waiting room full of animals when you have just had to leave without yours. I can not say enough good things about this place. We are customers for life... good thing we have so many pets

The staff genuinely cares about the animals and are always extremely helpful. I brought in a fearful rescue dog once and Dr. Robertson spent 20 minutes on the floor with her just feeding her treats and getting her comfortable. Dr. Nemeth is also wonderful and both are very friendly. This is the only vet office I trust my dogs to.

My Oscar loves going to Northwest Animal Care. Dr. Nemeth takes such good care of us. She never rushes us and really listens.

My dog has a hot spot on his back that got out of control and I decided this morning, he needed to see a vet. Our previous vet seemed unable and unwilling to schedule an appt in a reasonable amount of time so I went to Yelp to find a new one! We were seen at noon today and had high quality care from the moment we walked through the door. We are switching to this vet for all future care. On top of the great quality care and the like ability of the staff, the price was very reasonable. I'd highly recommend them to other looking for a local vet.

Great first experience. We needed a new vet closer to home. Very nice facility. The receptionist, vet tech and vet were all friendly. Great care for our two kitties. They took plenty of time and asked lots of questions and were so gentle with the animals. They did an ear culture on one and bladder culture on the other. And they called a few days later to see how the cats were doing. A little expensive? Probably comparable to many other facilities. Glad I read the reviews and found a new vet. Good hours on weeknights and Saturdays.

We were recently referred there to have surgery on my 11-year-old dog. It was the best place I could've never of taking my dog to. The care he received there and the outcome of the surgery was more than I had hoped for. I would recommend everyone to go in there
Thank you!!

We take our dog to doggy boarding on a daily basis and every day he's so excited to go in and have a fun day. That isn't the case for other places. The staff is excellent from the friendly and knowledgeable front desk staff to the staff that actually watch and play with him all day. Our dog is our child and we only want the very best for him. Thank goodness for NW Animal!!!

I have been going to NWACH for many years and have great confidence in the skill and knowledge of their vets. They keep their word and return calls in a timely manner; go the extra mile to ensure successful care of my dogs; and when the sad time came to help one of my dogs leave us, it was done in a truly kind and painless way. He really did just go to sleep.

I also use their day care service and boarding facilities. It is comforting to know a vet hospital is just feet away from the boarding area in case something comes up when we are away, which has happened a couple of times!

I used to take my fur baby to other vets but he got really sick and NW Animal Hospital fit us in after closing. The Vet was very kind and thorough. The Vet techs were also very friendly and nice. He survived and I've been taking my fur baby there ever since, so about 10 years now. Everyone is super accommodating and nice. The receptionist greats us and knows my dog by name.

We are buying a new puppy and already made an appointment for him at NW Animal hospital, I would not take my pets anywhere else. Also, I never felt any pressure for recommended vaccines or procedures. Take your pet to this place, it's the best!

NW Animal Care has been an awesome vet for more than 5 years. I switched to them when my dog needed knee surgery 5 years ago because they had the underwater treadmill. They've been with me through 2 dogs and 2 cats. I am happy with ALL the vets - which is a rarity. Usually you find one that clicks, but they then move on or aren't available -- that is simply not the case here.

Each one is excellent and they coordinate care and the answers make sense if you seen a different provider. I highly recommend their routine, surgical, and rehabilitation care.

We think the world of Dr. Johnson. Everyone at Northwest Animal Care has been so helpful and made us feel like friends. I really like the fact that the hospital is so open and I can visit my pets any time I want if they need to stay. Other hospitals don't want you in the back. They have a really clean, well-kept facility and we just love coming here.

We think the doctors and the staff are just the best at everything they do. The staff has tremendous respect and compassion for all our little four-legged friends. They treat us like family. We've had pets with very serious health issues. Most recently we began hydrotherapy and laser therapy for "Missy" and it changed her life. She had severe arthritis and was in a great deal of pain, but after therapy she was dancing around like a youngster. Everyone here is terrific.

The card of sympathy you sent me was so typical of the care you have always shown. Since the first time I walked into your hospital, I felt at home, I felt confident of your expertise, and I particularly felt the gentleness and thoughtfulness you so freely give. It has not mattered whether it was for my animals or for me; you have taken good care of us.

I wish I could tell you how truly special you all are and how much your kindness has meant to me. To just come in for my hugs is something I especially treasure. I know I will see you again. When I am able to adopt another dog, I will bring him to you so that this one will know how much you care for both the two-footed and four-footed creatures! Thank you again for your thoughtfulness.
