Services
Northeast Veterinary Hospital provides comprehensive treatment services, hospitalization, and critical care for pet emergencies. Our animal emergency center is equipped with the latest diagnostic equipment and technologies to help our veterinary experts assess your pet's health. If your pet requires a service that we cannot provide, we'll refer you to an appropriate 24-hour urgent care center.
A pet's first visit to the vet can seem a bit daunting, so we've put together a list of info and resources to help you prepare. At your first appointment, we will gather information about your pet's background, health, diet, and training. We can also address any questions or concerns you might have.
We are proud to offer 24/7 access to your pet's latest medical records and prescriptions using our online portal and mobile app. By using the PetPage app or online portal, you can easily view upcoming procedures and services for your pet, manage appointments, and request prescription refills. While we do find that the PetPage app and online portal are useful to our customers, you are welcome to contact us.
Pet insurance works well in cases of injury and illness, whereas wellness plans cover preventative care exams and basic wellness visits. Pet insurance premiums are typically paid on a monthly basis and can be used to help offset some of your pet's treatment costs. When using pet insurance, payment is typically due when services are rendered and then your insurance company will reimburse you if applicable.

My visit was great today. I really liked both the assistant and the doctor. The assistant who helped me get my 2 chocolate Labrador pups from the car into the building (I have a broken leg and it was raining!) was super sweet and made a point to engage with my 3 year old which I really liked as it made her feel included in the visit. She was great with the puppies and was able to move through her tasks (weight, temperature, etc.) with ease.

She also seemed to work well with the doctor. Dr. Gady was very friendly and had a good energy. The pups really seemed to like her too. She took her time with each of the puppies and seemed confident in what she was doing. When one of the pups wasn't cooperating she was very patient. She seemed very knowledgeable and was able to answer all my questions.

I asked her some questions related to dog food, having the puppies spayed, microchips, and she told me about pet insurance. She made sure to address any concerns I had and even said she would add a few notes to my file. Overall I was super pleased with the entire experience from start to finish. The assistant even helped me get the pups back to the truck in the rain when we were finished which I really appreciated.

Great place with wonderful staff. Our dog loves going there every month for his grooming and bath. The staff are wonderful and always happy to be with the pets brought to them. Our dog goes crazy when he sees us driving into the area as he wants us to get him there. The Vet is sharp and gentle with him and he always gets treated very well. Can't say enough about this group.

They were able to see us the same day I called. Sissy was in need of help and Dr. Doug and his vet tech were so wonderful to her. Dr. Doug was great at explaining what he thought was going on and determined a course of action that was sound and offered the best potential outcome without having to run a lot of tests and put her through more pain and fear. The facilities are clean and welcoming and the entire staff was professional and friendly. We couldn't be more pleased with our experience.

The staff was phenomenal! From the first phone call to the end was pleasant to say the least! Debbie, Marissa, Shannon & Dr. Doug all took time to explain what was going on throughout the day. I'm sorry if I didn't mention you by name, I spoke to several people. Each and everyone was kind, courteous and and respectful. I have been very impressed with Northeast Animal Hospital. I have received a daily phone call to make sure my pet has continued to do well. Thank you all for your kindness!

My precious puppy was treated like royalty! The Doctor and her assistant were very conscientious about understanding how important this first visit needed to be a positive experience for my puppy. Everything was explained in clear terms and I look forward to returning for our next appointment.

This was my first experience with Northeast Veterinary Hospital. I went to my usual vet which as open but.no veterinary doc was working. They agreed to see my fur baby and treated him well. Even addressed some issues my regular vet seemed to overlook. I am making this my primary vet. Dr. Doug was great. Made sure I understood exactly how to give the medications as well as understanding what was happening. I can not thank them enough. My pup is older and my companion.

From the Vet to all who work there I have always been satisfied with the care and treatment of my pets. They make sure to listen when I have questions and take time to make sure I understand what is going on with my pet. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is pricing. I feel they are overpriced and constantly have others telling me of other places less expensive but with the 4 stars I will continue to use them.

The best veterinary practice in NE Georgia by far. They are very thorough and professional, taking time to listen to the client's concerns and fully explaining each process and pricing. You can tell that they all genuinely care. My dog saw Dr. Cecily Nieh, who has taken care of my dogs in the past; and as usual, she did a wonderful job. I do not remember her assistant's name, but he was great too. I appreciate their insights and help.

This was my first time visit with my two German Shepard's and they spent good quality time with them both instead of rushing them in and out. I especially like the extra time given to writing clear instructions on what I needed to do with medication etc. once home. Very thorough.

Dr. Doug has been phenomenal in chatting with me, calming my worrisome and nerves. And giving me great information and insight! I appreciate knowing I have the reassurance at my fingertips when I reach out. It truly is a great feeling. Dr. Keeling was fabulous in communicating with me, and even with Dr. Doug on what Hank (my 6 month old Male Golden Retriever) needed done, and getting him taken care of in a great timely manner- when he was a drop off patient! They even said how good and cute he was! Thank you all for all your kindness and help. It is greatly appreciated more than you know!

Dr. Doug is competent, thorough and caring. I appreciate that he checked with Dr. Cecile regarding the question I asked. I always appreciate Hollis and was sorry to have missed the follow up call from her. Please let her know how much I appreciate her.

They treat and love our babies as if they were their own. Everyone is so friendly and every experience is a good one! They are great about being on time and taking our babies at the appointment time. They have been coming out to the cars to get them due to COVID-19, but to be honest it has been great for me. Thank you all at NEVH for always treating my babies so good! Milo and Frankie appreciate you!

I don't even know where to start. The ENTIRE staff is friendly and responsive. From routine check ups to unplanned emergencies to first time boarding nerves. We have 3 big babies with their own special needs. The staff here has been nothing short of friendly, attentive, and personable. They treat our babies like their own and we can't thank them enough!

The staff is absolutely wonderful and so caring! This was our first time boarding our Dog and cat and our dog is 11. She got anxiety and they did an incredible job comforting her and us. Thank you to all, very professional, knowledgeable and caring staff. Highly recommend this vet as Dr.'s are great too!

My human has been bringing me to Northeast Veterinary Hospital since I found him. And while I'm not always the most pleasant, the staff have always treated me well and provided me with top notch care. Because he was traveling this weekend, my human sent me to NEVH for boarding. And, despite his best efforts, was running late to pick me up. Knowing how anxious I was to see him and to get home, the staff waited past closing until he arrived. Northeast Veterinary Hospital is the best! ~ Paisley Corbett

The doctors and staff at Northeast Veterinary Hospital are very caring and knowledgeable. We have taken our fur babies here for the past two years. Dr. Doug and Dr. Cecily are very thorough in their care of our babies and we trust they will do the best for them. The doctors and staff show they genuinely care for all of their patients.
