Navarre Animal Hospital

I debated about posting this, but now that my dog is still sick I feel its necessary. I went to navarre animal hospital for years with my German shepherds being seen by Dr Gina. She left and the staff gave me the runaround on telling me for months before I pressured it out of them. I had to bring my male there because he had become so impacted on dog food that he was blocked with a baseball bat sized movement and screaming.

Two days prior I switched him back to the raw diet he was on for 5 years with no issues and fantastic blood work, (I took him off reluctantly because covid made it hard to get meat). The tech asked if he'd been eating bones and I said he hadn't, in reference to what made him impacted to begin with. She came back and asked if he had gotten into anything at all and I told her no, but that when he started having trouble passing I switched him back to raw diet.

The stool coming out was completely dessicatted dog food, othing more, it looked like bricks and would crumble to dust. She started giving me this "gotcha" attitude and I left to clean my car out from transporting him. The doc obviously found bones in his stomach in xray and immediately started blaming that. I explained that was not what made him impacted and he sat there and argued with me.

Long story short I payed 400 dollars for them to help and the doctor wouldn't listen to me so my dog is still sick. It is completely unprofessional behavior and unsafe. A doctor should not be trying to argue about something they don't know, he has no idea what my dogs diet was, and instead listen to the patient in order to get an accurate diagnosis.

As I left the entirety of staff did everything they could to try to shame me by telling my dog I shouldn't feed him small animals. We are back with Dr Gina now across the street and I couldn't be happier with her.

Even though I didn't have an appt for my sick cat (on a Monday am), Kim told me to come right in. I didn't wait long and the vet asst was efficient and kind. Dr. Sibille assessed the situation, order labs and gave me med to take home. Check out is always prompt. As promised, he called back with results of labs, explained them to me and asked about my cat, who has greatly improved with the medicine. I appreciate all the staff there and also Dr. Sibille. So does my cat.

Awesome place. They accommodated me on a very busy Saturday. The staff is very friendly and loving to my dogs.

Great local vet. They're super friendly and have taken great care of our dog and our cat. They really do a great job of explaining things clearly.

They are the most caring and helpful of people and are really knowledgeable.

Wonderful experience, my pom was attached by a momma bear last night trying to protect her cubs. They got her right in and taken care of.

My Brinley girl was not well on Thanksgiving evening and we considered going to an emergency vet but decided to wait until Navarre Animal hospital opened in the morning, as this was our normal vet. I was at their door when they opened and they fit her right in. They were kind, thorough and gentle. After results arrived the next day and they figured. out the issue - the doc called me right away. I am glad I waited as they reviewed cost as they went and were affordable. Thank you so much for all you do! Brinley is good and shouldn't have anymore issues.

We decided to check out Navarre Animal Hospital because it was closer to our home and we are very happy with our decision. The staff is very friendly and professional and on our first visit here our dogs medication was changed and she is doing so much better. We recently adopted a cat and I'll be making an appt for her soon.

We stopped by with our dog when visiting our friends in Navarre. We got helped quickly and the entire staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. Great experience!

They are great there. We took our cat to them after a horrible experience with Emerald coast vet in ft walton, our 22 pound cat dropped to 8 pounds. Navarre Amimal hospital actually did an xray and found a large tumor in his throat. He has gained back up to 11 pounds and is getting a shot every 3 weeks for the tumor. We have kept him alive for 4 additional months. He still has the tumor but his quality of life is better. They are honest and very caring. I would recommend them to anyone.

I love having such a wonderful clinic so close to home. Everyone who works there is very caring. I never doubt that my dog is receiving the best treatment.

We called before taking our dog to the veterinarian office. Our old vet retired so we thought we'd try to save some money. We asked specifically if they provide a service repair a Cherry eye they said yes. They've then allowed us to come in and talk to The vet talked us into doing bloodwork charge us an office visit etc. They then called to say they cannot do the surgery. When I called back to ask for a refund of the office visit they did not return my calls bad business beware!

Top notch care and a truly pet loving environment at this facility. We have been bringing our pets here for 5+ years now and can always rely on them for excellence every time. I brought my dog in this morning with an eye injury, he didn't evem have an appointment and they took him right in anyways. The vet was quick to assess the situation and set us up with follow on care with an ophthalmologist. Highly recommended them and will continue to bring our pets here for all of their care.

They take care of my old lady better than I could ask. Despite all the covid stuff happening they are still great to deal with. They are working hard to be sure your pets are taken care of while still taking care of their employees. *Update* Will 100% recommend this place to anyone looking for a veterinarian in the area. They helped us make the toughest decision about our baby a little bit easier.

They went above and beyond during the unbelievably hard and personal moment and I will forever be greatful to this place. You took wonderful care of my sweet old lady all the way up to the end.

My dog became sick in December and I took him to my Veternarian and they took blood to find out what was wrong with him and I found out a few days before Christmas my dog had Lymphoma and my Husband& I were devastated by this news! We wanted to get a second opinion so I came here and the Veternarian Dr. Sibille was wonderful! I told him my regular Veternarian told me he had Lymphoma and I wanted to know if this was his diagnosis and Dr. Sibille took ex rays and told me he had a form of cancer but it wasn't Lymphoma because it hadn't spread throughout his body so he did further testing which took a week to receive the results. Unfortunately, during that week my dog became very ill and the seizures he began having were getting worse and he stopped eating and drinking and I saw him suffering so I decided to put him to sleep which was painful but I know he's not suffering anymore. Dr. Sibille called me a few days ago and told me my dog ( my baby) had a brain tumor which explains his seizures he never had until his diagnosis.

I began crying and told him I had to put him to sleep and he gave me his condolences and I Thanked him for everything he did for my dog. I recommend this Veternarian especially Dr. Sibille he's very compassionate and caring.

Dr Kevin Sibille is a wonder doctor. He explains everything and if you call the clinic and ask to leave him a message he actually calls you back, and quite quickly! I'm very pleased with the way he treats my animals, you can tell he really cares. Thank you so much Dr Sibille, you rock!

Yes, I would Doctor Sibille and Doctor Bauman are thorough and compassionate Veterinarian doctors. I tend to be a hypochondriac and they put up with me. I transferred from Gulf Breeze Veterinary because I heard nothing but good things and they were closer.

Love this hospital! First time there and everyone was super professional. We just switched from another Vet and so glad we did! Our rescue Smokie is our baby, and we received the best care possible! Thank you! So happy to be apart of this family!

Horrible experience! I'm in the serving business so I know how to take a lot before losing my temper. This "animal hospital" is a place I wouldn't even recommend for someone I hated. So many things led up to me telling them I'd rather go somewhere else before they did anything to my baby! Been reading the reviews tonight seeing if I was just too paranoid about all the red flags, apparently it's not just me. If you love your pet, pick a different place to bring them. If I could give zero stars I would.

Forgot my dachshund's seizure medicine coming to Navarre on vacation. The lady answering the phone was so unbelievably rude and completely unconcerned about my dog's health. She wouldn't see us for 5 days. She wouldn't accept my vet's call regarding the immediate need for her medication. She wouldn't fill a week's worth of my dog's seizure meds. Overall, our experience with this vet office was less than acceptable.

Treated my dog for over two months for diabetes and seizures. None of the vets here did anything for my dog other than take my money. In third month he was no better than initial visit. Save your money and go elsewhere... anywhere else.

Great practice. Always calls back when we leave a message. The girls are quick to answer our questions or find out form the docs what to do. Both of the vets are amazing especially Dr Gina. She is the best vet we have ever had. She is kind, takes the time to get our skittish pup at ease to examine him and then still takes the time to answer all our questions. Highly recommended!

I can not say enough good things about Dr Gina and Dr Sibille. My pug has ongoing spine issues and they do everything they can to see him whenever they get a frantic call from me, call me back if they are with another fur baby, and get him more pain meds if that is what he needs. We’ve had a very rocky two years, and they have never let me down!

Our first time with our puppy was great! Staff was friendly and answered all my questions and loved on our new girl!

Dr. Gina. what else to say but she is SO very loving and attentive to these animals. She has been caring for my 2 Aussies for 2 years. She tried for a month to work to save our little girl but at 12.5 years old she had just had enough. It's been a month since she and her tech came to our home to gently release my girl Skye. Hardest thing I have ever done but they were gentle and did not rush the painful process.

The whole process was as easy as it could be under the circumstances. They lovingly took our baby and had the whole cremation process done for us and in under 2 weeks she was back home where she belongs. Thank you Dr. Gina for your compassion for these babies who are our babies. She is now at the Rainbow Bridge being beautiful and growling at someone else. :

I have used them through the past 12 -13 years with my 2 dogs Brick and Boo. If I didn’t use them it was usually timing or schedule. Their Staff has always been professional and compassionate. My 13 yr old dog Boo had been battling cancer and I had to make a decision, at short notice on a Saturday morning, a few weeks ago. Without hesitation they accommodated me and my family during this tough time. I had to ready a place to rest my dog so they prepared Boo for me to pick up. The detail that was taken at this point was wonderful.

The doctors and staff are amazing. My dog Pancakes got extremely ill Tuesday and had to be put to sleep, but the staff was so caring and supportive of both my dog and I that it really helped me deal with a horrible situation. They even let me be with her while she passed and then sent a card a couple days later with hand written notes of support.

This office is great and they are all very caring toward my dogs, Echo and Oakley, as well as my cat, Sophie. They were amazing with her yesterday. Highly recommended if you're looking for a good vet office for your fur babies.

What is wrong with the front desk staff? They are always rude. I've been here for 3 appointments over the last 2 years and stopped in other times for food and medicine. They just look at you when you enter. You end up standing at the counter until they decide to acknowledge you, and even then it's just asking for your name. I have never been told thank you when making a purchase.

Or even "have a nice day". I always say it to them because it seems like they need something to improve their mood. The vets and techs are nice, and that makes it hard to switch vets. But I am switching because of the reception staff. I'm sure I will find another local vet that is just as friendly and a nice staff to go along with that. Note to receptionist: Life is short. If you are that miserable everyday in your job, find another one. Stop projecting your negative and foul mood onto others.

We visited here for the first time today. My dog Marley needed his annual checkup and shots and we hadn't found a vet here yet since moving. So glad we found Navarre Animal Hospital! They were beyond nice and friendly! Marley was immediately put at ease by the amazing vet techs. They are so sweet, and he got about a million treats from them! Very thorough exam, the vet took time to explain everything and never acted like she was rushed, and prices were great. We will definitely be back!

The reception staff are Horrid and rude. There are two techs who scare me, one took my cats temp rectally, which is normal. However after 6 minutes and still no reading, that's not normal so I asked her to get another thermometer, she refused and used the same, broken one. Well after another two minutes. I asked her to just leave we'd let the vet check it.

The vet came in with new devise and had reading in 30 secs. This is typical in this place. Of note the two vets are excellent, they just need to clean house and get all new front and back staff. I have requested all records for my pets as I am not going to return to this shit show. My babies deserve better care than they get their.

Every time I visit with my two Very Loved cats, they treat them as if they were their own. Even if one of my cats names comes with an odd story of its origins (Jerky & Simba) He has now grown to like to be cradled like a baby when I sit instead of in my lap like he used to. Great Staff! Really do like these people, nice and friendly and reasonable prices! Clean And concern for my pets;2 cats and 2dogs! Ran into a man at Publix groceries and he was overjoyed w/them, said they r the " best" in town!

My dog had a couple of seizures and needed his shots. Because of the seizures the Vet wanted to wait on the shots till after she saw the blood tests. Now the Vet Tech is saying she gave him the shots. I didn't see her give him anything. I saw her try three times to get a little blood. At $300 for shots and a blood test. I'm going to get his shots!

Having to say goodbye to our sweet boy Duke was heart wrenching but leaving him behind just about destroyed me. But today Duke is back home with us. The news of Duke's illness was not expected and I was not ready to let him go. I wrestled with myself about letting him go up to the minute the injection was given to him. We are so grateful for Dr. Gina and her staff for making this difficult decision bearable. They are so amazing!

We have been coming to Navarre Animal Hospital since 1995. All of the normal shots to minor surgeries have been in Outstanding care. Even their staff will say hi to you when they see you while shopping and can remember your pets name. Truly a caring place.

First off: i only spoke with the receptionist (I think that was who it was). I called to get some price comparisons (we're getting a puppy) to local vet clinics, and the woman answered me in a curt and annoyed manner, and basically hung up on me without saying goodbye. I have a $40 coupon there for a new client office visit, but would rather forfeit the coupon than have to interact with them again!
