When our spunky puppy pushed her boundaries with our larger pup they checked her out and got her cleaned up with antibiotics so quickly. Everyone was as always just wonderful Couldn't imagine anyone else caring for our critters.

I've spent the last 5 years moving around a lot and so I've taken my cats to several different vets in a few different states & this one seems like the best. Super happy to have found it, plan on taking all our pets here for many years. Prices are reasonable (told me $230 for a lab analysis that a different vet told me $700 for), everyone's nice, quality of care seems great. Didn't get a sense of being pushed to spend $$ on unnecessary things like I have before

I have taken my furry family members to Mountain View since 2000. I would never take them anywhere else. They care about your furry pet's health and well-being. Everyone is so friendly and you do feel a family connection, .

Mt. View vets have been incredibly caring with 3 of my older cats. I moved them from another practice where I was unable to get appointments when they were sick. Here, I've seen 3 different vets when i needed to take my cats to the vet, and I trust each one totally with my babies. I am so appreciative they are taking such good care of my kitties.

They are better than some, but they don't seem to understand cat psychology very well. Have separate areas for cats and dogs, cats are terrified when caged in the same room as a dog, blink at cats, only approach from behind, and know something about the breeds and diseases. My cat Fluff is a Ragdoll cat, and Ragdolls were bred to be acclimated to pain.

I told this the vet and they had never heard this before. They seem to understand that different dog breeds have different needs, but cats are all the same to them. In addition my cat has FIV and they only advice is "keep him indoors." When confronted with direct questions about FIV, the vet was clueless. Very disappointing as both the vets and staff are super friendly and a pleasure to deal with.

They need more education on cats. They don't just need shots and flea treatments and teeth cleaning. There is far more to them. Also, maybe have some cat art work/figurines since you have so many dog ones. People notice this!

We have been clients of Mountain View since 2013. Had great experiences with Dr. Cheshire and the nursing team for years then, but things have gotten progressively worse. Between the aggressive manner one of the new doctors had when one of our cats had cancer and the 'matter-of-fact' attitude we had gotten from her to handling out FEMALE kitten now.

I think we're done. We had our FEMALE kitten spayed yesterday. When I dropped her off to the vet, the tech kept calling HER a boy, and referring to neutering versus spaying. I thought it was just an error. They have a lot of patients. Get it. I was told I would receive updates through the day and a time to pick her up for discharge. I received none of that.

My husband had to call at 4pm and ask when to pick her up. They said now. He got there, and the nurse was ready to say goodbye, but my husband had to ask for the discharge information, and care instructions. That's when they offered to get the doctor. The doctor talked about care, but my husband had to ask about jumping or climbing stairs and they were like oh yeah none of that for 10 days.

Well thanks for offering that up in the first place. Shockingly, I received a call this morning to see how SHE was doing. The person on the phone asked how HE was feeling after his NEUTER! I get the world is short staffed, as my industry is too, but it's not hard to read a chart [hopefully THAT is correct] and see that SHE is FEMALE. Needless to say, we are done with Mountain View. So hopefully my female cat was actually spayed.

This is the absolute best animal hospital in all of PDX. We recently moved 45 minutes away, but I refuse to take my fur babies anywhere else! They are booking out really far, so I recommend calling to make an appointment for your pet several months in advance! It's worth it - trust me!

There is no other vet for our family. They've lovingly walked us through putting our beloved dog down, literally saved our other dog's life, and now they are giving phenomenal care to our new puppy. These are my people! I love Mt. View.

My doggo and I have been patients at Mountain View for over two year. The staff has always been very professional and caring to both me and my pooch. I feel that I am listened to by both the doctors and the techs and appreciate their care and concern. The desk staff always greet us in a friendly manner and try to keep us comfortable while we wait.

I can not say enough good praises about this clinic. I have been to MANY vets over the years and nobody compares. Anytime any one of my fur babies have issues they do everything they can to fit us into the schedule, they are all so kind and welcoming. I have never left feeling like my animals were not given the best care possible. Highly recommend taking you babies here.

I always feel a little nervous (sometimes a lot nervous) about taking my little buddy to the vet, but the employees at Mountain View are incredibly reassuring, kind, and patient with my many questions. Dr. Phipps is definitely our favorite and I feel comfortable and confident with the recommendations she makes for our kitty. I'm really grateful for this animal hospital.

We happened onto these wonderful people when our pup was pregnant and needed a c-section. Now they are the only place we would take our tribe of 5. (4 dogs and 1 cat) The staff are friendly and the Doctors are knowledgeable and kind.

The entire team at Mountain View are amazing, loving, and welcoming. They took quick care of my precious Daisey Mae and made sure I was aware of how to care for my baby after her surgery. I cannot recommend Mountain View Veterinary Hospital and its staff enough.❤️ I know you all fell in love with Daisey Mae and we have fallen in love with Mountain View.
