Washington's indoor mask mandate was officially lifted 3/12/2022. Mountainview Veterinary Hospital is no longer requiring clients or employees to wear masks inside. There are a few of our staff and clients who may choose wear them. We will do our best to make sure you feel safe while we assist in taking care of your pets. You may enter the lobby to check in for your appointment and pick up medications. Or you may continue to make use of our curbside services by calling our phone when you arrive. We have adjusted hours in June, please see our calendar for updates.

Services
We practice the highest standards of quality medicine with a professional and caring staff. Our staff constantly monitors the needs and comforts of your pet. We provide medical care for sick patients as well as healthy ones. We perform routine surgeries, such as spays and neuters, along with more advanced procedures such as soft tissue and orthopedics.
Rachel has been greeting clients at Mountain View with a smile since April of 2015. Rachel helps make sure we get patients cared for and into a room as soon as possible alone with helping our doctors stay organized and on time. She has been with Mountain View since 2014. She is married with one son and owned by 1 cat named Davey.
Our receptionists are the first and last people to see our clients! They strive to ensure the best visit possible and take a personal interest in our patients well being. Our extensive in-hospital pharmacy allows our doctors to treat patients quickly and efficiently. From blood draws and physical exams to dental cleanings and minor surgeries, this is the activity center of the hospital. The treatment area is also where the Intensive Care Unit is located allowing for constant monitoring of critical care cases.
Not all cats are excited to visit the vet, but here at MVVH we pride ourselves on our courtesy towards, and special care of cats. All employees are trained in the gentle handling and less-is-more approach to restraint. It is very important to keep your cat sufficiently vaccinated but not over and above your feline's specific needs, so a brief questionnaire supplies the veterinarian with info to adequately tailor to your special friends' vaccine needs. Each vaccine visit is accompanied by a full examination by the veterinarian to ensure the health and wellness of your cat.

Kind, caring staff. Even though our pets were not previous patients of this clinic they found an appointment for us to care for our sick maltese. Many thanks!

I must correct myself and apologize to the staff and patients of this facility. This establishment is a great example of how a business should be conducted and how to have a proper costumer service. If something is wrong, they listen and correct it so we as patients feel safe and heard. I must upgrade my review and say: I'm sorry for my past and very emotional review.

It came out of a dark place and I should have not post negative about one isolated miscommunication case. Again, it is devastating losing a pet, and at the end the only hope we have is that Veterinarian care around the world can help us to take care of them. My precious Phoebe passed away, and even though I felt the communication could have been a little more sympathetic with the staff member the day of my call, I have to say that their response to my concern and "tantrum" was very important to me.

Not only the manager or person in charge was very understanding of my position and my grief, she also was very diligent on assuring my husband and I that this is a misunderstanding and accommodating her personal time to get our other Dog seen. The fact they have someone looking over this type of process and they care to make the things feel right for the patient (even though I should have not post a negative review) made me feel so much relief and safer.

The response was in a timely matter and they show concern and compassion for what had happened. This definitely made me feel so sorry for posting something wrong, but also I regret saying they don't care. They definitely cared enough to make sure I feel better and to help in the extend they can. In addition, she was very respectful and made me see clearly that it was a very uncommon case and that they for sure care about my pet or anyones.

It is unfortunately they are short staffed in vets and I understand that, but once you get seen, they definitely will make sure your pet is ok. Once again, I apologize with the staff and the person who took my call (Kristy I believe) and am very grateful for the clinic to take my concern seriously and ensure we feel better and helped! My Phoebe is dearly missed and I know they will help my other doggie Harley get better and recover from this grief.

Thank you so much for working with both of my dogs! I have never dealt with one who has anxiety before and I appreciate that your whole staff has been calm and helpful with her. Thank you for letting us bring her in for friendly visits in order to help build positive experiences!

DECEIVING! Recently got a puppy and started taking her to Mountain View veterinary for puppy shots. During her last puppy shots I received an estimate for spay, which was right under 250.00, so I scheduled the surgery for the next month. No one called or discussed with me more pricing and the estimate was suppose to be around 15% of final price. I go to pick up my dog after surgery and the price was more than doubled!

I take her home to review the estimate again and then call the clinic to discuss the huge amount I did pay. All I was told is that the estimate did not have the surgery on it when it should have had it and they were not sure why. If I would have known how much it was, I would have scheduled it for a different month when it was more appropriate finance wise. Although this place treated her well, which I am grateful for, I felt very deceived by them.

Dr. Desselle & the technicians were kind and gentle. They were upfront about prices and gave us options. I'm thankful. Have to take away a star. We paid 50 dollars for my Polly's (extra pollydactal) prints. never delivered. Called and was reassured it was sent. Never received an offer for refund. Heartbreaking

First time in this Vet, and hoping my doggies are with them their remaining of their lives. The doctor and all staff were polite, and understanding that my pets are a bit aggressive with other pets so they were able to accommodate us, which is extremely important to me. Everyone was so good, specially the doctor. She broke everything down for me. Truly one of the best experiences I've had with a veterinary clinic. Thank you for making it pleasant to me and my two large dogs.

Very happy. Other than my first visit, the doc trying to fix my dog, it's been great. They are very nice and they explain things very well and handled my reactive dog amazing.thank you. They didn't even charge me half of what the high end would've been. They even trimmed my dogs nails. That really helps because my other dogs chewed on the nail clipper and her nails were long. Again. I am very happy with their service. I fell asleep while waiting for my dog and they proceeded with the teeth extraction.

BEST place to go! I used to live right by it also and even moving and having vets closer I will drive out the way to go here! They treat your fur babies like their own and tell you what costs will be before slamming a huge bill on you.

I noticed my brother's dog had a fish hook in one of his legs and so I called 12 other veterinary hospitals and all of them were booked, one pet ER was a 5 to 6 hour wait while another was 12 hours and this was on one of the 100° days. I called Mountain View Veterinary Hopsital and they had no wait times and I was able to make an appointment that day. Cooper was a little too excited to meet other people so he had to be sedated a little for the vet to be able to get the fish hook out.
