My "Baby" was dieing. They were extremely busy. and I had to raise "HELL" to get their attention, Since I didn't know if She - My "Emily", could be SAVED. One of the "Techs" recognized my anguish and finally took my 18 year old Kitty to the treatment area and attempted to make "her" as comfortable as possible, while waiting for a Doctor to examine her.

Soon after that we were called in to a treatment room and the Doctor (Dr. Flores, I think) explained what they could do. The Doctor took body X-rays and it showed a very large "Tumor" in "her" chest cavity. There was no hope for my "Baby". They were very nice to us as they explained the diagnosis, etc. They made "her" comfortable. My "Baby" of 18 years, needed to be euthenized, so she wouldn't suffer any more.

They were very gentle with Her (Emily) and administered drugs to help Her relax and then "put" Her to sleep (with a 2nd injection). We were devastated. Emily had been our Baby since birth, MAY 12, 2004, for 18 years and 28 days. Everyone at this Animal Hospital were very nice and compassionate throughout the whole ordeal. We just wished they'd not had so many patients that day. Our only wish for improvement would be. that they would institute and designate a small staff to immediately assess animal patients more quickly. who could be dieing.

My husband took our two cats here for a last minute rabies shot that we needed to get into our new home, and the place told us at the last minute we needed this He said the service was great and they treated our cats great, saying how pretty they are. I'm glad they were available and open, that they do walk-ins only. The price was decent to, and it was an evaluation and a rabies shot.

Thank you for being available for us! I would of given 5 stars but he was there waiting for 2-3 hours, which again is understandable since it's walk-ins only, so first come first serve.

Do yourself a favor, and do not waste your time bringing your pets here. My son walked in a lil after 5:30 and they refused to check our dog. The vet literally looked at him and walked out.

Great service! Everyone was super nice and very caring towards the animals. They have kennels in case your dog is rambunctious like mine was. They don't care if your dog has accidents (mine did). They have lots of helpers there if you have your kids with you as well. The wait was a slightly long because they were very busy. They're very accommodating though. 10/10 recommend!

This place is overall pretty good. They dont do appointments so that can be annoying but on the other hand I like being able to go there anytime during a weekday if I need to. The wait time can be brutal as Ive been there upwards of 7 hours before so if you want to get in and out faster I definitely recommend going soon as they open. The doctors and nurses are extremely friendly overall and I really love that they even have a pharmacy I can go to right there if my pet needs meds.

The first time I brought my pet into this clinic I had 2 cats both had ear issues my boy had a bacteria ear infection and my girl had 2 different types of infections in her ears (a massive yeast and bacteria infection) and it had been getting worse for nearly a month despite my having gone to McRae Animal Hospital twice every week that month complaining it kept getting worse for them both.

They had been treating them for mites. Ear mites. They didn't even have ear mites and they said to just keep doing the mite meds they kept giving me when I complained about it getting worse. I brought them here and they took swabs of my cats ears and low and behold they didn't have mites but bacteria and yeast. My poor girls ears were swollen 3 times the normal size and I am so upset I didn't come sooner to prevent her pain.

This place has been my go to since and they have been amazing. Ive been quite a few times and would struggle to complain about the service beyond the wait times. Overall a great pet clinic.

Horrible! My brother took in his puppy today for his vaccines and for a nail trim. They took him back for his nail trim. Apparently he was so "stressed" they had keep him for observation and put him on oxygen! It was not the first time they had trimmed his nails. I am 100% sure they were holding him down with so much pressure that stopped him from breathing.

If they had a difficult time since the start all they had to do was stop. Also he is only 4 months old, not a huge dog! He has been throwing up blood and not gotten up. Beware of this place! Some years back I also took my cat for neutering, he ended up with brain damage and blind. Never had a good experience with this place, looking for a new vet office asap!

You are just a number at this vet. They lack any kind of compassion or thoughtfulness. They work around your schedule and don't care about yours. I dropped off my girl to have a surgical procedure, letting them know that I had to work at 5 pm. They texted me later that day and said I could pick her up at 5:30. I took off work and rushed to get there only to wait 40 more minutes, and only got her then because I demanded it. Then, I scheduled an in-home euthanasia for one of my furbabies.

They assured me when I made the appointment that they would call me with a time and let me pay the day before. When I called the day before, they said that they couldn't tell me anything and would call me the day of the visit to let me know what time and have me pay then. They didn't even care that I was losing a family member and wouldn't be in the right place to do any of that. I will NEVER go back to this place. Worst vet I've ever had.

Besides the long wait the staff is very professional and attentive. They understand people have been waiting for hours and they go around offering water and snacks, that is very thoughtful. There will always not understand how people choose a walk in clinic and think they should have priority over others and expect to be out within the hour.have a seat be patient and shut up they are working hard to take care of our pets

My boyfriend and I cannot thank our veterinarian Dr. Crider and her caring tech Sky. These beautiful ladies have hearts of gold. We are beyond blessed to have them take care and be there for us when it was time to send our baby to doggy heaven. Thank you for being the most kind and genuine to everyone. Keep up the amazing and caring work.

As a client of nearly 10 years, it's hard to know what star rating to give this clinic as it often feels like there is a yawning chasm between the support system (phone, check in, techs, follow ups) and the excellent veterinarians providing the diagnoses and actual treatment plans. So much of the system needs a radical overhaul (from checking an account before sending out reminders for surgeries that were undertaken 3 months prior) to phone call management.

We know your vets' time is valuable, but so, too, is your client's. Being on hold for 15 minutes and then the call is dropped is stressful on top of being concerned for a beloved pet during a crisis. I also have concerns about leaving a message for the vet, even when the vet is the one who has asked me to call with feedback or observations. If I have so little faith that the message will get through, then I am forced to ask for the vet to call me so I know that contact has actually been established.

I'm aware that covid has had a negative impact on many veterinary practices, and we are now in the "catching up" period when people are coming back with pet care needs, but shortfalls in service that are due to inefficient processes and high turnover/poorly trained staff are not going to be resolved by numbers. However, the quality of care by the veterinarians allows us to tolerate the shortcomings of the support system behind them. It's sad that it is necessary, when so little is required to bring the team up to a standard that befits the service offered by the vets themselves.

I have been going to this clinic for many years and through many pets. There has been several changes in staff but they always seem to hire the best and most compassionate! During this visit, my fur baby was diagnosed with CHF. He was clearly in distress and every pair of hands that touched him, handled him with care and gentleness. I was informed of all the procedures that were recommended and all was explained in great detail so that I could make an informed decision and better participate in his care.

Dr. Flores and staff at the NE Vet Clinic saved my Oliver's life. He was taken in for bleeding and diagnosed with Hemorrhagic Gastroenteritis. He was hospitalized at the clinic for three days - They saved his life. I can not express enough gratitude for Dr. Flores and staff. The Vet Techs were amazing and kept me up to date twice a day. They were Fabulous!

Staff was very attentive. We came as a walk-in so we did have to wait about an hour but the care was worth the wait. Place always seems busy but they're busy for a reason and people continue to bring their pets back due to the care they get and personal attention. Get over the wait and be satisfied your pet is getting great care.

I always felt that my pups were in caring hands when they came to this vet clinic. The doctors and staff were awesome. We felt that they genuinely cared for our pets. I have moved out of El Paso within the last year and man there's no other vet clinic out here as great as this one, I truly miss having to take my pets to NEVC. Thank you to all the doctors, vet techs and rest of the staff there for taking care of my pups. You guys were great!

We had to put our 17 year old min pin down late Saturday. The medical team was kind, compassionate, and understanding. They let my wife hold our dear dog until she passed. I am very grateful for their compassionate attitude.

My dog had an emergency today and hurt her foot while trying to get out of a family member's backyard while we were inside. It looked like her foot was completely broken. Dr. Giles decided to see her immediately and took care of her right away. He explained every single finding and step with us from the very beginning. He showed us the x -rays and explained the plan to us in detail. It was incredibly reassuring and he made one of the worst day's better. I definitely recommend this clinic. The staff were all incredibly helpful.

I brought my yellow lab named Humphrey to this clinic for 13 years and always received the most professional care. Now, I have another dog and it was an easy choice to pick this veterinary clinic. I've had two appointments for Romeo and every single staff person from check in to check out are friendly and helpful. I am impressed with the medical staff also. I highly recommend this clinic for your pet

Yes, the wait time is long (2 hours) but they are seeing so many pets a day on a walk in basis along with their appointments! Be prepared to wait but it's no reason to not bring your baby for excellent care (or to rate them one star). The wait time is nothing when it comes to getting the best care for my baby. They do put priority on emergent cases & I didn't mind, they needed more help than my baby.

It was our first time here & I was extremely nervous as was my baby. The staff was so friendly to me & her. During the wait, everyone was offered water & it was obvious everyone cared about the pets coming in. Dr. Bailey was very helpful, thorough, & answered all my questions. The staff is very compassionate & I thank them for being so welcoming & arranging her exams in a timely manner.

Had a great experience bringing my dog in for an emergency today. Christopher immediately noticed when we walked in and had us set up in a room to wait for our exams. Skyler came in to help take notes and tests and explained everything that would happen in detail and detailed all of the costs to me before doing anything. Christopher and Skyler were both very attentive to my dog and making sure I was okay.

The staff was very friendly offering water to both human and furry friends while maintaining a clean environment. You can definitely tell they care about the animals and thats why they are here. My dog got treated and is already feeling better. Will definitely continue care.

Took my Shih Tzu in after returning from Korea cuz the vet there said he had a heart murmur. This vet says, "naw he's fine they misdiagnosed him." Well guess what, Cosmo is dead from heart failure. Only one word to simply correlate their medical practices: FAUCI

Came in today as a walk in with my sick puppy, and although I did wait for awhile I would say the wait was worth it. Our vets name was Brian Glies and he was awesome, very knowledgeable, and great personality! The girl at the front desk was so pleasant to talk to, and overall I had a great experience. Goose says thank you! We will be back.

**experience during covid-19 ** This place does require everyone to wear masks while inside the clinic for both customers and the staff members. They also have sanitizer available for anyone to use as needed. Let me tell you I had a stressful situation with my dog and they were able to take us in as walk-ins and took care of my dog. They have a pharmacy, lab, and x-rays in house so my dog was able to be diagnosed on the spot without having to go anywhere and also left with meds in hand.

The doctor was very knowledgeable and helpful as far as answering the questions we had. She also took good care of my dog. The only negative thing I could say is it took all day! I was in the clinic a total of 7 hours, however, at least it was all good. They were nice enough to provide me with water twice since I didn't dare leave the clinic without my dog.

Spring 2021. I have visited the Northeast Veterinary Clinc many times in the past 6 weeks. My dog broke her paw on a Saturday around noon and they were the only Clinic in the area to promptly call me back and give me a same day appointment for my dog. They have a great system to handle the COVID19 restriction requirements and I have no complaints. It's actually perfect.

They have been extremely caring to our needs and they are relatively affordable specially for the quality of care we have received. I am so glad my dog is now their patient. I highly recommend them. The only con is that due to their population unless it is an emergency its hard to get a "soon" appointment for any other type of care but the wait time is totally worth it.

I would give 0 if I could and I genuinely mean it. I took my cat in because she had been doing very bad these last few days not even eating. After $500 I was told that she was dehydrated but they didn't even make an attempt at giving her any fluids or ivs. you would think after charging 300 dollars even before they saw her, they would've given her something to replenish her strength.

They told me and my family to consider putting her down because they didn't want us to waste money on a cat before any bloodwork or exams had been done to help us figure out what was going wrong. After we insisted they do work on her, they found nothing wrong and told me to go pick her up. me and some other pet owners waited an hour outside for our pets after checking in with them. They take their time on calling back, doing exams, and even giving you your pet back but within 10 seconds of giving them my card information they took the money.

So sad and disappointed I have brought my dog before and they were quick I brought them today just for shots and they told me it's an 1-2 hour wait I waited for 3 and a half almost 4 hours and they kept saying 20 min 20 min each time.

On September 5, 2020 my baby Romeo passed away at Northeast veterinary clinic. I was told I would be receiving a paw print so, I waited almost 4 weeks to call them. When I called them I was informed that because they did not do their paperwork I would not be receiving my poodles last paw print. They then told me that they would refund my money but I do not wanna refund.

This is extremely unprofessional in my opinion they did not care to do the paperwork in order for me to get the final paw print of my of my beloved poodle for past 10 years. It shows how careless unprofessional cruel and inhumane they are to their customers. And one day I hope they feel the pain that I am feeling right now. Next time get it right

My best friend, Harley, was seen here for the last two years. NEVC has been very kind and supportive during his stay. Today, my bestie was put to sleep with the upmost caring one could ask for. The Dr. and her staff were incredibly comforting and understanding. NEVC will always be the clinic I go too because they have treated both of my pets with the most loving care.

If I could give a zero I would. Staff is completely incompetent. It's funny how condescending these tech school graduates can be. A simple question. Does my dog have a thyroid issue? Spent about 20 minutes trying to get his answered. The test cost me about $400 yet somehow the result seems to elude the genius staff. Supervisor was no help either. Referred me to front desk manager. We will see if she calls back. For some reason they keep calling me and not answering when I pick up. Really unprofessional.

This place was HORRIBLE! The wait to get my dog was 2 HOURS! Just for a couple to a few shots, her nails cut and a examination for A TUMOR/ CANCER ON HER NOSE! Even after hearing the news they took their time to give her back to us! On the discharge papers we were supposed to be referred to a specialist, but we weren't even given the freaking number or name of the specialist!

When we went to get our dog, Tyler, ignored us when asking about when we get our dog! They had called us saying she was ready but we had to stand outside the building for freaking 20 minutes! Like please don't tell me my dog is ready and then not give her to us! When we got her back she was shaking and her heart was racing. Like what were they doing to my freaking dog for her to get like that?! Sadly I can't give 0 stars!

Once again I have to deal with this Lucero asst. This time she's checking in patients. The process is to sign in as the big red sign states then you're called to be checked in. She takes someone who walked in without signing in first.while another person and myself are waiting to be checked in. The last time she was a new asst here so was still learning but this time who knows. She isn't very customer service friendly or knowledgeable on the process here. For that reason alone I give me vet clinic 1star. She needs more training!

3 days into antibiotics and my kitten is much better! We went on saturday and luckily this clinic is open 7 days a week! There was an hour wait but we didn't have an appointment and they were really busy, so it's what I expected. I'm very glad for their service and availability outside normal business hours.

If i could put ZERO stars I would. I took my cat here and the first time my husband and I waited 5 hours. Yes, you read that right. And only to be given a list of 1300 dollar bill. They are money hungry. And when I was told to bring my cat to put the sub q's for free the next day they charged me 26 dollars for the tech's help and didn't even let me go back to see him administer it.

And when I got home my cat didn't even have the knot where they gave him the sub q's. And they never let me go back there to see the technician do it. I honestly don't trust them. The girls there are rude. I try to be nice to them even though I have heard them talk about other clients there. But, they are the worst vet to take your pet to cause they are money hungry and care nothing about your pet.

Another thing for vaccinations that are the least expensive in the entire El Paso area, go to Petco on Saturday and sundays from 1 to 6 pm. Call to make sure on the hours. It's about 15 per rabies shot. They are not money hungry like these people. And are not rude. The girls upfront and even the techs at northeast vet talked to me like they were always angry.

I didn't argue with them as I was devastated over my cat's health and didn't need that added to my stress. They are very inconsiderate of the animals and their owners.

They did $300 worth of tests on my dog and still didn't know what was wrong with him. I suggested getting him checked for parvo from the beginning but was told he didn't look like he had parvo. Instead they did x-rays and blood work on him and I cant remember what else. When i took him for a second opinion elsewhere they confirmed my dog did in fact have parvo. This place is useless and only interested in getting as much money out of you as possible, my best friend could have died because of you!

There was a good amount of folks waiting, about 5 to 7, so i asked the lady at the front desk how long the wait would be. She said from 45mins to an hour and a half. Ok fine, understandable. And since they are currently under remodeling or what not, their services are being done with bungalows with the waiting area outdoors. So they allowed us the courtesy of waitinf in our cars and they will come out to find us when time.

So we took our babies to the car and started the long haul wait. Probably 10 mins later, they come around already to have them seen. That was a pleasant surprise. The staff are friendly especially the veterinarian himself. We have dealt with an assortment of vets at this point since we've been moving around for the 5 years we've had them.

He was very patient and thorough with his assessments and asked all the right questions while allowing us our input without interruption. He also explained the options we had for treatments and the cost expectations and why they were necessary. So they brought us the summary which we signed off on for oral and injection meds and told us we were good to sign out.

What we didnt realize though was that they were gonna give the injections in a different room than the exam room we were in. So they took each cat one by one to a different room while we waited in the sign out room. Took about a total of 20mins. Then when they were both done with the injections, we kept having to wait for another 20 mins for our charts to be finalized apparently before we can finally pay.

And of course the server decides to crash on us to pay the debit transaction. Perfect. I feel like that whole process took longer than it needed to towards the end and we had no idea why. Just that they still had our charts even though we already signed off on the summary. The injections could have been given right then and there in the exam room and saved more time and possibly any further issues with their charts and avoiding a longer wait on that.
