I have been working with animals my whole life. I have a real love for both animals and the outdoors. Growing up my parents were horse trainers. I worked on a ranch that had horses, hounds, pigs, goats, cattle, chickens, ducks, and a mule. As I grew older my appreciation for animals grew and I began a career in Veterinary Medicine.
Products & Services

Spay and Neuter

Spay and Neuter for both dogs and cats.
Wellness Care

We recommended an examination for every pet at least once yearly and in most situations a twice yearly examination is more appropriate. Pets age faster than people. During the comprehensive wellness exam, our team will discuss your pet's health status and recommend a plan tailored to your pet's health care needs.
Surgery
We perform all kinds of surgeries on dogs and cats, including:
- Spays
- Neuters
- Abdominal exploratory surgery
- Laceration repairs
- Growth excisions and other soft tissue surgery
- Oral/periodontal surgery
- Emergency surgery (for example, wound repair, foreign object removal)
- Urinary bladder surgery & much more
Emergency Services

Mission Veterinary Clinic & Animal Emergency Hospital is open until Midnight 7 days a week for emergencies.
Pet Dentisty

Animal Dentistry is very important for your pet. We routinely perform this procedure.
Orthopedic Surgery
We often perform pet orthopedic surgery on an emergency basis to repair broken bones and fractures for pets that have been involved in an accident. We also have planned procedures due to a change in your pet's health. Active and working pets can suffer from torn ligaments or they can damage joints to the point that they may need replacement. At Mission Animal Care Center we provide you and your pet the best care possible.
Digital Radiographs

Digital Radiographs can be a very important part of diagnosing what is going on with your pet. X-rays work very well to see bone, but also to see organs and air-filled structures throughout the body. With x-rays you are also able to see some foreign objects like metal, rocks/stones, and some other materials.
In House Laboratory

Mission Animal Care Center uses an in-house laboratory that provides us with the ability to perform CBC, Health Profiles and Electrolytes.

We are so thankful for Dr. Gurmani and the staff at the Mission Veterinary clinic and animal emergency hospital. They were so talented and took great care of our girl Nala for her acl surgery. They truly care! We can’t say thank you enough.

I've read the recommendations, and must say I might not have taken my dog in based on what I read, but thankfully I had not seen any reviews prior to taking my dog in. I can only recommend a place of business based on my own experience. My dog woke up with mucus in his eye, and by mid afternoon it seemed as if his eye had collapsed. This was the closest veterinary clinic on Google, so I rushed my dog over there with no appointment or call. The staff at the front desk saw the urgency and squeezed my dog Zeus in. They charged me the standard visit fee, and yes they provided to treatment plans, but both seemed reasonable and affordable in my opinion. It's been a few days now and my dog is recovering nicely. I am so very thankful for the care received.

Daniel superb assistant technician made everything positive happen myself and Margo's dental surgery. There for me my inward panic. Any problem call before 11:00 am I am here to help. Also Daniel had me see a doctor before her surgery which helped me. Nice receptionists. Did meet dentist, but am very happy with results. Did not meet dentist. Would definitely highly recommend Mission Veterinary.

Customer Testimonials
I have been very satisfied with the service and attention from the vet and his friendly staff for our dog. You will too!
Danny takes such good care of my huge lovable brats. It's like they are his babies too. He makes their experience a happy one. Doc G always gives me honest treatment plans and explains things. He doesn't mind my 100 questions. It's always an easy experience and my babies feel safe at Mission. Thanks!!
My companion, Cooper 5yr old ShiPoo, got his paw caught in an escalator flying home from San Jose. Completely my fault, while on the airplane had my son look up Vets in my area. Found MVC... thank God! Open till midnight, I arrived at 10:50. They took us in immediately cared for his wound and continued his care for a month after. Cooper stayed in the hospital for 5 days, they amputated part of his paw and 3 months later Copper is doing awesome, like nothing ever happened. Their staff is amazing, compassionate and helpful. I will never take my family any where else, ever...
From the moment we stepped in the door, we were greeted in a very friendly but professional manner. The reason for our visit was annual shots for our two cats and a consultation with the doctor regarding our one overweight kitty.
They addressed our every need with confidence and we have now found our "forever vet".
Thank you all for the great care and professionalism you extended to our family.
Love this place! My dog is never afraid to come here, the staff are friendly and kind and the prices for vaccines are the best I've found.
After my dog had Orthopedic surgery with Dr. Gurmani I became I client at their Regular hospital. The hospital is busy at times. The staff is always nice and attentive. Vannessa is very sweet and helpful. The blond guy is also very nice, I don't know his name. The Dr's are not always available (probably because the hospital is busy) but they do always get back to me. They always spend the time to explain things to me and are very helpful. Pets (and I have a lot) are lucky to have them.
I volunteer for a dog rescue, and often times we have emergency situations -- especially on weekends or late at night -- when a dog in foster care must be seen by a vet quickly. Several times I was able to get an appointment that same day, and have the dog examined. This particular dog was scared, and the Tech and Vet took time and patience to let the dog calm, before they examined her. It's important, as rescued dogs are often freaked out anyway with all the change going on around them. The care we've received has always been thorough and reasonable. I've never felt like they were "selling us all kinds of tests" -- the Vets got us what the dog needed to start healing, at very reasonable rates. I've recommended them to friends and other rescue colleagues.

In your search for a veterinary facility, we believe you should expect high quality care as well as great service. Our goal has been to assemble a veterinary health care team committed to providing exceptional client service and veterinary health care. Our commitment to you is to continue to offer our world class service and a state of the art veterinary facility. Your pet's annual vet check-up will include a total physical exam, with a thorough investigation of your pet's head, body and tail, and all his assorted cavities.
Seizures (convulsions, fits, epilepsy) are commonly encountered in our household pets, but can be frightening, nonetheless. They can occur in cats and dogs of all ages and can be caused by many different problems. As you can see, a seizure is not a diagnosis in itself, but a sign of an underlying problem. After one such episode, it is usually difficult to tell if your pet will ever have another seizure or not, but your veterinarian will make some suggestions for looking into the problem. A thorough history-taking and physical examination will provide your doctor with quite a bit of information, but often some simple test procedures are needed to study your pet's problem more closely.
Pyometra is a serious disease of female dogs and cats related to hormonal changes within the reproductive tract allowing the accumulation of pus in the uterus. It can be FATAL! The cause is really not understood, but we know the female hormones are involved in allowing the reproductive tract to become more susceptible to developing these infections. In some animals, the uterus responds abnormally to the hormones produced during the "heat" cycle causing a secretion of mucus and inflammatory cells to collect in the uterus.
