I truly appreciate the dedicated and compassionate staff at Milwaukie Animal Clinic! Dr. Conrad and the rest of the hard working people here are always looking out for the patient's best interest, and they put their heart into their work. Thank you for all that you do!

Love the clinic and the vet staff. We're lucky to be able to go and see Dr. Conrad for my pups. They always provide excellent care.

We decided to switch vets last minute and a friend suggested Milwaukie Animal Clinic. When everyone else had a 3 month wait for spaying, they were able to get our dog spayed within the month. Staff was super friendly, showed a genuine love for the animals and price is more than reasonable. A++ thanks

We've been taking our Chiweenie to this vet since she was a baby. She's 3 1/2 years old. Was just in for annual checkup. She hurt her leg today when running in our backyard. We called the vet to have them look at her. We're told there's no way they could see her! WOW UNBELIEVABLE. COULDN'T TAKE EVEN 5 MINUTES TO CHECK HER OUT. THEIR WEBSITE SAYS COMPASSIONATE! DON'T BELIEVE IT. WE WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN. WE WENT THEUR MONTHLY. WOUKD NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE!

Quoted one price the. Told another went in for allergies told time come back after a month. If it continues. Great now I'll have to go to another vet for the same issue. Lame. More than happy to charge an outrageous price for dental cleaning. Only place taken new patience and now I know why.

I had taken my dog here for the past couple years and what started as great service has taken a serious turn-around in the past year. We are dealing with ear infections for my dog and after seeing her twice and promising they had done all they could do the issue was not resolved. We did end up taking our dog to another vet that in one visit gave us more information and solutions and better care all around. I definitely do not recommend this vet.

I used to only take my pet here. However it seems there are some "new" doctors on staff. Most recently being told my animal is just old and that's the problem. I wanted a second opinion so I went elsewhere. They were able to get us the help and my dog is in his recovery now. Prior to the "new" doctor, I would've hands down given them a 5 star rating.

WARNING! The folks that earned this current 4.4 out of 5 star rating have sold this business to a couple of swindlers. After nearly 8 years of bringing my basset hound to this veterinary clinic I am disappointed and disgusted with what has become of a once reputable and respectable business. Though some of the support staff remained when the business changed hands I can now understand why some left and why animal owners are leaving this vet in search of one with integrity.

After receiving a written quote for surgery intended to remove 5 tumors from his skin and waiting a month and a half before they could get us in their true colors came to surface. The "package" they quoted included multiple mass removals, a cone designed to keep him from getting to the incisions, the tumors being tested for cancer, all medications needed, and 2 follow up appointments to inspect/remove stitches.

On the day of the surgery they attempted to raise the price of the already expensive surgery by over 60%. They explained that they had made a mistake with the quote and expected me to pay the difference. I presented my written quote and they seemed offended that I expected them to honor our written agreement. Though I paid the full price of my quote they only removed 3 of the 5 masses promised and also decided to save themselves money by not having the cancer testing done.

I paid full price for a fraction of what they promised. After surgery they sent us home with the cone they required me to buy as part of their package. Unfortunately, they gave us the wrong size cone and while I was at work a couple days later, Bentley was able to bite at one of the incisions and opened up a 6 inch gash. I notified them as soon as I realized it and they had me wait 4 days with that open wound before they would get him back in to have it fixed.

Though he was able to get to the wound because they sent us home with the wrong sided cone, they presented me a bill for $650 to fix it. The doctor didn't even have the integrity to talk with me about it after questioning the additional charges. We will never go back and I hope sharing our story keeps other animal lovers from being taken advantage of by them. Pictured is what they made him live with for 4 days before they felt it was important enough to get him back into surgery.

I've been bringing my chihuahua here since he was a puppy (now 4 yo). They always handle him with care and do everything they can to keep him comfortable. They also make sure that I understand every procedure and make sure I don't stay with unanswered concerns. Really great clinic, would 100% recommend.

Love this place! I've been taking my 2 doggies here for 6 years now and they are so good to them. Their prices for exams and other procedures are much lower than others I've looked into.

I am so thankful for this clinic! Yesterday I called them at 1pm, because my dog had injured himself the night before. I had never taken my dog to this clinic, but the front desk ladies on the phone were so kind and got us in for an appointment literally 45 minutes later. The front desk ladies were so welcoming and kind, and made me feel so much better.

We saw Dr. Thompson, and she was wonderful. She took extra care of my pup, doing an exam and asking questions. Also my usually anxious and nervous little guy did great with her, he really trusted her. I appreciate this clinic so much, and am happy to bring my pet back here as well as recommend it to anyone in need. Thank you so much for getting me in so quickly and taking such great care of my little guy!

We love Tanya she is very caring and thorough. We were very concerned when Hiro scratched is right eye and thought he might lose his sight in his eye but Tanya took excellent care of him for several months and it healed up nicely.

To not feeling right and they got me in pretty quick. Our first visit was yesterday and went fantastic. All the staff was nice, checking process was fast and the doctor was quick to come in. Very Happy we switched over.

Very good treatment and prompt follow up response to online questions. As others stated, they do not up-sell services but they provide good service and give you options to consider without a guilt trip. I've been to several other vets in the area but was hesitant about this one at first because of the small strip mall location; however the facility is clean and welcoming.

We had a great first experience there with our rescue. The staff was kind, efficient and welcoming. The appointment started on time.They patiently and professionally answered my many questions about our new rescue. They complimented her and offered options for flea control, diet, and allergy control without pushing, allowing me to make my own decision. They even included a new patient discount that I wasn't aware of in the final bill. We will definitely return for future visits.

We have been taking our cats and dog here for about 2 years. Everyone in the office have been courteous and knowledgeable--Their prices are very reasonable, too.

I have been taking my family of animals to Dr. Fahlman for several years. His compassion and knowledge is unmistakably the best! I am always so grateful for the ability to reach out to him and his staff when I am away from home for extended periods. Having moved quite a lot over my lifetime, it is rare to find a vet who gives so much of himself and his time to his clients, and who cares about what he does.

He is a genuine diamond in the rough. His staff are also as kind as he is, and just as loving and dedicated to their work. I have no idea if he is more expensive or less expensive, but what I can tell you is that every dime spent is well worth it because the care is by far the best.

I took my cat here for an exam and loved it! The nurses, doctor, and woman at the front desk were all super helpful and friendly. They all seemed very knowledgeable and kind. I also needed some help with behavioral problems and they were super helpful (which was especially great because other vets have been dismissive and rude). It's super affordable too which is amazing. I 100% recommend!
