Always super wonderful to work with. Also usually pretty busy but I've been going here for years and always have been happy! UPDATE: I was just in again today for a UTI with my cat and as always they were so kind, fast, and lovely. Absolutely love this place!

While I had one bad experience in the past due to the lack of emergency staffing, I'm so thankful to the doctors that were so kind to me when I had to put my 17 year old cat down. They did everything to make sure my baby was comfortable in her last moments.

Not to happy about this place because I don't get it. I called to try to get my girl in because she is sick and they would not see her saying they are not excepting new clients. Like what the hey I been in there to pay for an older lady who's dog really needed to see a vet. But this time I need my baby in. I am sad they would not see my girl.

I wouldn't recommend Miller to anyone I called to get an emergency appointment for my Nina & the receptionist said we are scheduling at the end of April If you cant wait you can go elsewhere, I called on a Monday & Nina was dead on Friday, Miller is very uncaring & the desk person wouldn't even let me speak to Nina's Dr,

Vet staff is very knowledgeable and caring! Dr. Kooney is incredible and always followed up. But you have to deal with unanswered phone trying to make an appt. Less then professional when they do answer. I called last minute to bump up a euthanasia appt for my dog they have seen for 9 years. "Sorry we're booked today, try MSU 24hr clinic." Then I called the next day to cancel the appt for a dog I just put down and we got "ok. It's cancelled" click. I'll honestly find a different place for my next pet.

Post from weeks ago when we came here: The nicest most accommodating team! My pup is not the nicest at the vet and yet they still make him feel loved. I really appreciate their flexibility, love and guidance. Now: decided to move my dog to a new vet. I sat on hold for 20 minutes for them to tell me my dog would need to be sedated for all visits, which I would totally understand had they not said he did great just a few weeks ago.

Very disappointed at how rude the receptionist was telling me I could go somewhere else just like that. I easily found a cheaper nicer vet. I sat again on hold for 20 to cancel my appointment and be respectful to let others take that time. But It was clear they don't want or need my business as my appointment was cancelled by them without telling me it was cancelled. Clearly we aren't wanted there.

I took my pets here for years and was generally pleased with my experience. I had a final visit and communications with them to provide my cat with medications during travel to leave the country. For a WEEK I called and they said they would call me back, and did twice in one day, but my voice-mail was full. I kept calling back, and kept being told they would let the vet know, and then finally the on-call vet said I would be taken care of morning of our trip and I arrive and the staff looks irritated and says they can't do anything for me. So.if you weren't going to help me, just tell me so I can make other arrangements.

So frustrated and disappointed and feeling abandoned at the last step of my journey with them. UPDATE: It's been a few days since my last review and my experience worsened. I had requested a travel certificate as I was moving to Germany and needed proper documentation to bring my cat with me. I initially confirmed this with a vet there in May and they said it would be super easy and to come back a couple weeks before. So, I come back a couple weeks before and ask for a travel certificate.

The front desk staff woman prints something out and hands it to me, and I ask if this is a travel certificate and she says "this is what we do" and I say okay so this will work for travel? And she says "yes, this is what we do." Okay so I must be good. Not at all. It's only by chance that I found a vet in Chicago to look at Lucy for travel meds mentioned below that the vet happened to ask where I was traveling to and asked if I had the proper documentation. Because of this, I had to cancel my flight and rebook while I waited for the right documents to come in. What a hot mess.

We've brought our animals there for the last eight years. They have a caring and attentive staff. We have an epileptic cat and they have done a great job on consulting with us on the best medication combinations to ensure she is doing well.

I've been taking my pets here for a long time. Personally I've never had a bad experience. This is not an emergency clinic, I would not recommend calling/seeking emergency care here. Appointments have to be scheduled pretty far out, but they're busy; I get it.

The vets and technicians all seem to truly love animals! For the most part, our experiences there are pleasant and well handled. I believe we've only had one or two times where we have not been happy with the service and it was with a vet who no longer works there.

I'd give zero stars if I could but it doesn't seem to be an option. The vets are great, the office staff is terrible. Ended up paying for two appointments that I shouldn't have had to pay for because of their errors, and then when I missed an appointment they billed me for it. Called twice, wrote twice, no response. And now I've been referred to a collection agency. Go anywhere but here.

I can't bring my cat into this clinic because they are not accepting new patients. I had been talking to them for two weeks about bringing a wild cat that lives close to their clinic but no one told me I had to of had another pet seen to be able to use their clinic. Today I found out and I am not pleased.

Been going to Dr Miller for 10 years, after being referred by a friend. He's helped my fur child grow old with me. He is so busy for a reason.because he's amazing. His personal touch to his practice incomparable. His team members, like Meredith and that tall lovely gentlemen tech, are the reasons I continue to feel cared for and my dog is loved. Can't recommend them enough.

I was going to take my puppy here for his 16 week vaccinations. I would have been a new customer and was told to call in advance because of COVID. The woman who answered the phone was extremely rude and said "we aren't taking new customers! How do you not not realize that we're under staffed!" I then said okay that's fine, can you recommend any other animal clinics for me? And I was hung up on. I understand the stresses businesses are under because of covid, but this was uncalled for!

The folks over at Miller animal clinic are genuine and compassionate animal people who have taken amazing care of my pet. In addition to nothing but positive experiences with the ladies up front and the doctors, i just want to say Megan and Elizabeth have gone SO far out of their way to do genuine acts of kindness that they have actually brought me to tears. I can't recommend this place enough. Thank you to your entire staff for all you do

This is a busy place. But there's plenty of staff so the wait time was brief. Nice, friendly staff. The vet's assistant was great. As was Dr. Jenny! Very caring and thorough. They are reason enough to stay with them. My dog and I both left happy!

We have been using Millers for 40+ years (our family) Dr Miller saved our puppy from parvo and we were grateful. Dr Kooney and wife took over and some changes started. My dog was attacked by my dam and he needed immediate care. I was told to go to MSU. I said, I can hold pressure and drive that far, im alone, and i will be right there. The staff lied and said no doctors were there.

When I arrived, i saw the vet drive by me. I proceeded in. The vet came back and fixed my dog up. When I checked out I made sure to tell the person at the desk that lied, not to ever lie again. We have had a few other bumps but still use them. Their current staff is a little better with customers. I give Jason 5 stars for sure. Hes soft spoken and understanding and always pleasant. The others should take direction. MSU is super expensive and not always an option.

DO NOT have your female animals spaded here. Had my boxer done here a few years ago and she has had issues holding her bladder for normal periods of time. Took her to a new vet and was told that the vet that did the surgery did not perform it correctly thus resulting in her being unable to hold her urine. I would never recommend anyone having their animal spade here. It has been a very difficult issue to deal with.

I called to set up an appointment with my cat for the liver ultra sound. They took him in. I was waiting for the nurse. She came out and took my cat and I said do we need to go over anything before you take him? She said no and took my cat. I came to pick him up and the receptionist said it would be $190. I said what happened to it being $90 for the liver?

She had a smart mouth on her and she goes that's not what it said in your chart. I said, well don't you think you should have double checked that with me before doing that then? So instead of taking responsibility like an adult. She goes well whoever set up the appointment must have wrote it down wrong then. Then her smart other lady decided to whisper something in her ear and they laughed about it.

Then I said okay, but do you see my frustration? I came here to pay $90 for a ultra sound of the liver because the cats probably having liver failure and since you are incompetent and couldn't take down the orders right or even think to double check with me, you think it's okay to double that amount? I am not mad at a $190, that's chump money.

I am mad because this clinic can't follow simple directions or even check with their patience's! Animals can't speak for themselves! I will never go here again an tell people not to take their pets here either! Complete incompetence!

We went there for several years until their incompetence killed my dog. Their front of the house staff is rude and unprofessional. Their assistants are incompetent. Most of their vets are oblivious of the pets history, and also incompetent. I will never subject my pet to them again, if you care about your pet then I suggest you don't either! Wait times were always ridiculous too.

I like this place other than w hen you first walk in and go to the "check in" window. Even if you are the only in line you wait & wait & wait. There can be 3 or more employees running around in the area but not a one will even take the time to even acknowledge you are even there. Happens every time you go in. The other day there was no one in the waiting area, no one in line at the window but me and two employees within 5 to 10 feet away from me.

I stood there looking at them for 8 minutes. I shuffled my feet and cleared my throat several times before i had to finally ask them if there was someone to help me. I was here just a few weeks ago and i was already checked in and in the waiting area. While sitting there there were 6 people in line waiting to check in. There were 5 employees running around the office area. The customers waited in line for 15 minutes before an employee started helping the first one in line. They need a better system and a little common courtesy would not hurt.

Miller animal clinic does a great job with routine visits (shots, heart worm tests, etc.) but are not very accommodating when it comes to an emergency situation. Our 14 year old lab suddenly could not stand up. This happened in the evening. We called as soon as they opened the next morning to try get him in and were told that they had no openings and our only option was to show up and wait to see if they could fit him in. Oh, and they would be closed from Noon - 2 so we could wait until noon and then come back again at 2. It's not that easy to carry around an 80 lb. dog who can't walk. We ended up taking him to MSU small animal clinic. We didn't even need to use their emergency room. They were able to get us in right away.

I have never boarded my dog. Because of a dog sitters' emergency, I had to board her for 6 days while my husband and I were out of town. I was a wreck. Miller Animal Hospital (where my dog is a patient) said that she would receive 2 shots (bordello and distemper) and be put in quarantine because the shots have an incubation period. When I picked her up, I was told she was with the other dogs.

Since she has been home, she is coughing so hard it is causing her to vomit. My husband and I were up all night with her. I WILL NEVER USE THERE SERVICES AGAIN! If you have a pet, you know how hard it is to leave it. You should at least have piece of mind that she will get the care promised.

Miller Animal Clinic has been, more of less, in "the family" for fifteen years, so they were my first choice in my future pet care. I recently added my first pet to my home, and was very impressed with the care and attentiveness of the staff. Right off the bat, they squeezed me into an emergency Saturday appointment without much notice. Dr. Baciak was the doctor who examined my new pup, and I believe her to be an excellent addition to the wonderful veteranarians here at Miller.

She was intelligent, kind, and engaged me with interest about my dog. My pup was nervous at the beginning of her visit, but had a wagging tail before long. I am excited to develop my dog's relationship with her new clinic and doctors, and feel very welcome at Miller. Tip: Miller Animal Clinic is kind of hard to find. it's located off the road, behind two other random establishments. Mapquest before you go if you're not familiar with the N/W Lansing or Delta township area.

This is a clinic with several vets. We were satisfied with the friendliness of staff and recieved adequate treatment for basic needs such as basic exams, immunizations, etc. However, when we ran into a more complex problem locating and identifying the source of pain we were frustrated to have different vets and they even seemed too afraid of our dogs to adequately asess them.

Our dog had bouts of crying out. We brought him in and when they turned his neck he whimpered. We had already moved his body like that and he didn't whimper so we assumed it was a fear whimper. They ignored our advice and said his neck was hurt. A few months later, it happened again. We returned, they did x-rays and said he had spondylosis deformans and that was it--end of story.

We were told it could be an emergency situation someday and that it was degenerative, etc. We did research and found that 70% of dogs at his age have this and that it seldom causes pain at all. Plus, they did not adequately palpate him at all. We went to Dr. Leppanen in Lansing, MI and he said it could be a variety of things from muscle spasm, to injury to spodylosis, but the x-ray wasn't good quality enough to say it and, he admitted, that it doesn't usually cause pain. So, I would not recommend Miller if you have a problem that could be complex.

They definately did NOT palpate him correctly--my friend is a vet and I have had other dogs with broken and sprained limbs enough to know that what they did was not enough to feel injury or identify the source of pain.
