The MOST caring and empathetic vet I've ever been to. On my dogs last day after 4 days of nonstop diarrhea and vomiting, our vet of 10 years refused to see her. I called Mile High in tears and even though they were fully booked they got us in, in 2 hours. Unfortunately, it was my girls time to cross the rainbow bridge but Dr Braun and team were patient, kind, and so thoughtful through the entire process. We can't say enough good things about this place and have now transferred the care of our other dog here!

We have been coming here for well over a decade now and they are always amazing. Two months ago we had to say goodbye to one of my sweet boys and they really made sure his last moments were comfortable and were incredibly kind to us. We love Mile High.

My pup, Julio, tore both of his CCL's a month apart. Let me be the first to tell you that it's not a cheap surgery and has a roughly 6 week recovery period per knee. The lead doctor is so polite, she takes time to break everything down and talk options. I was concerned enough about the high price of the surgeries that she contacted other Vet.'s and relayed the pricing to me.

They were the cheapest by several thousand. Julio is recovering well from his first surgery and preparing for the second. Thanks to everyone at Mile High Animal Hospital and the surgery team they use.

I am hesitant to trust vets - but had a great experience with Mile High Animal Hospital. They made me (and more importantly, my dog) very comfortable.

They're always extremely friendly and kind, taking the time to ask questions and understand both your and the pet's needs. While not cheap, they're also not "cheap" and not unreasonably expensive either, working with me to keep costs in check.

Dr's and techs are great to work with! Don't feel I am being pressured into any additional unnecessary services. Were great helping us prepare end of life for one of our dogs with leukemia back in February and just took my 2 new puppies for checkup and they are great service providers!

Super knowledgeable! Super great with my new puppy's first visit! They played with her and gave her treats! I think she'll be happy to visit again soon to see her new friends!

The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. We typically go to another vet in the area, but they have been very booked for sick visits lately. I was able to get a same day appointment here and was treated like we've been going there for years. It is a calm atmosphere and clearly built to reduce animal (and human) anxiety (I'm a psychologist who has studied some animal behavior). Reasonable prices, and they sent the info to our regular vet without me even asking. Considering transferring to this vet for all our companions!

I am a big fan of this vet! I initially found them because they were very close to where I was living at the time, but I have since moved far out of the neighborhood and continue to bring my cat here because I know I can trust them with her health care. Dr. Engel and support staff really treat her like a VIP! :

I've been bringing my pets here for a while through a vet change and a software change. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The most recent appointment I called just after 6 when I got off work and they were closed so I left a message. I got a call back from Stephanie a few moments later because she checked the VM before she left for the day and wanted to get back to me a get an appt set for me.

I've only gone in for happy visits so far, but the staff has been incredibly patient and supportive with my anxious dog and I am so grateful. They really seem to love dogs here, and it never feels rushed.

Caring staff! Very friendly & genuinely concerned for the well-being of our dog. Everything was explained in detail about how to help our dog feel better once we left & for when we got back home.

Honestly one of the more affordable vets in the area for the quality of service, I brought my pup in for an exam for a foreign body in her skin. She got her exam, blood work, and medication all in one visit! I love that you guys fill the prescription on the same day. The assistant (with the Jason themed nails, I'm so sorry I forgot your name) was so kind to my dog and was easy to talk with and ask questions.

My dog was a little nervous around one of the vets, but he took his time and was very patient and calm the whole time. I got a call back the next day to check how my dog was doing, and a call the day after that with blood test results from the vet himself. Will definitely keep going here for all my vet needs!

I am going to give a really honest review. I have been going to this office since 2014. Dr Cole is amazing. That is why I am giving them a 2 instead of a 1. I had an appointment to get my dog, a long established patient, a booster shot with a tech. Ashley at the front desk was kind enough to work with me, because like everyone else, I have a busy schedule, and add traveling for work to that, and some major surgery coming up, I had limited time.

We found a time she stared worked for the clinic and for me. When I came to the appointment today, during the "check in process", Haley, the tech called me. She started out with stating I made an appt with the vet, which was not necessary. I told her that I made an appt with a tech for a booster. She then made a snide comment about my "limited availability" for appointments.

She then went on to be nasty as to I barely made it so they didn't have to start my dogs vaccine over again. (By several days). That was it. I am leaving this practice. I don't need to be spoken to that way by anyone. I left, without the shot. I hate to say this. Stay away from this practice. For their high prices, I don't expect to be spoken to or treated that way.

Great Vet. My dogs don't even mind going (That says something about them). For now they are all curb side, which is a little weird but they are generally prompt. Staff is always friendly and professional.

Poor client intake & customer service. We chose veterinary office based on stellar reviews. Not our experience. We have a new puppy & he needs his 3rd set of shots. Made an appointment not realizing curbside drop off means handing over my puppy to a team & vet I don't know. Called the office after receiving paperwork day before visit & explained we are not comfortable dropping off our puppy to people we haven't meet.

All the receptionist said in response was "Do you want me to cancel your appointment?" Well, if that's how you deal with the owner why would I trust you with my pet? Poor experience & lousy people skills. You may be great with animals, but why should I trust you?

My dog is a old lady and not in love with going to the vet. I warned them about her possible hesitation but they handled her perfectly, gave great advise and showed true TLC. Jaime, on then phones was terrific and listened to every detail. Nurse Robyn was amazing, patient and caring. The doctor called to inform us of all the details! I would definitely go back if and when I need too.

Have been taking my dogs to this vet for over 7 years and recently moved out of the state and I have to say this is the cleanest vets office I have been to. It's very helpful they have an exit and entrance door. Recently took one of my dogs to the vet in my new state and I really miss Mile High. Thank you to the doctors and staff there over the years!

Could not be happier with the care provided to our four legged family member. Dr. Timmerman met our dog sitting on the floor for his annual checkup today, which kept him much more comfortable than had he been up on the table! She provided wonderful resources.

This is an amazing vet office. It's very nice, clean, and very spacious. The rooms you go into are very nice and well and are very big. Everyone here is really nice and are so sweet to your animals. They know exactly what they are doing. They don't get five because I know they are a stand alone vets office but they extremely expensive for a vet.

I needed a tooth pulled and a cleaning for my yorkie and they wanted $1500 for all of it. Needless to say I didn't have it done here. I found two other vets that were more than half that and the one we chose did an amazing job with my little girl. I'm not saying don't go here but maybe check somewhere else of it isn't an emergency situation. Very nice vet office though for sure.

Update: Been very happy with this vets office. Consistently can get me in for appointments and been happy with all the doctors we've met with. Clean facilities and modern approach to medicine for my lab pup. Would recommend to anyone looking for a vet.

I just can't believe all of the negative reviews for Mile High Vet. I was about to call to schedule my dog a wellness visit, but I needed to write a review before calling since I just don't understand the low rating. We've been going here for over a year now and have nothing but great things to say. We came here due to our cat needed to be put down for medical reasons.

The entire staff and doctor was extremely compassionate and gave us all the time we needed to say goodbye. They gave us a free paw imprint of our kitty too which was thoughtful. All of our other visits have been for our Giant Schnauzer. He is almost eight years old and he hasn't had any major health issues other than a broken nail that Mile High Vet fixed up for us last year. I'm always very happy that they clearly explain our treatment options before administering any services, so I know exactly what I will be paying. Absolutely no surprises here. Going to schedule our next wellness exam today :

I love bringing my dog here. Dr. Waskow is extremely patient and really takes interest in our dog's well being and not just her physical well being but also her mental well being. We've gotten so many helpful tips from Dr. Waskow in regards to training. Even the setup of the office is perfect for dogs with a separate entrance and exit to avoid any accidental run-ins. I would highly recommend bringing your pet here.

If there were an option to submit a review without choosing a star, I would choose that option. Horrible place! Horrible prices! Horrible Hospital Administrator Jamie Davis, CVPM Rude! Rips people off! Zero compassion! Not personable! Even with a death in my family I was charged a missed appointment fee of $59.75, even though it was disputed and I did not dispute the payment of the actual service, this person was still ok with taking my money. Responds to a Bank dispute 2-days late and asks my bank to "consider" her rebuttal even though she did not comply by the due date.

I was not given that "consideration" yet, she has the nerve to ask for my Bank to "consider" her reply. WOW! Is all I can say about that. I don't need the money, it was the principle, but I guess MILE HIGH VETERINARY HOSPITAL likes ripping people off in vulnerable times of they're lives & must need it. Pretty sad/pathetic. People like you, go nowhere fast! : Reading other reviews, I guess I'm not alone and not the only one that has been ripped off by them

I find the previous negative reviews to be baffling. We have three Labs and switched over to Mile High about a year ago. We have seen both Dr. Waskow and Dr. Kriet for sick visits and well visits. They have provided top-notch care at reasonable prices. At no time did I ever feel there was an emphasis on costly procedures or insurance. They have a nice facility and very convenient hours, with no extra charge for evenings and weekends. I would recommend Mile High Vet Hospital to anyone who would like considerate, caring vets for a reasonable cost and flexible hours.

We have going here for the past 3 years and wanting to go a different hospital since Dr. Waskow started pushing us for using his insurance and behavioral classes for our dog. My dog does extremely well Until he walks in all a sudden with his stethoscope. Without warming up to my dog he would just come to check him with the stethoscope and he would bark at him step back and hide behind us.

This would start off a never ending lecture from Dr. Waskow on how my dog need behavioral classes. Even if my dog was quite he would make a sudden movement to just scare him and start of his lecture again. We asked him why would he not take him inside and check him he would say he cannot since my dog is anxious and that we had to come back. He did this to us when we went in with a severe ear infection.

He was least worried about ear infection. All he could care was about how he is anxious and he sent us home with pain killers and not checking his ear out. Which doctor does this? We humans get all the details required before we get a shot or test or check up. We still are anxious. Here he just walks in and that too a stranger and my dog should not get anxious.

All the other nurses who meet him when we check in, he has no problem with any of them. They went ahead and put a note saying my dog is anxious and when we went in today wfor his yearly check up with another doctor he just started repeating like a parrot that he is anxious and we have to come back for check up, while my dog is siting and eating his treat. We finally quit this money minded self promotional hospital who don to care for there pets

It's been a couple years and I have had a couple very unsatisfactory experiences with this place. They moved their offices a while ago and their prices seemed to jump up. So, I haven't been in with my dogs in a while. I called a couple days ago asking for Glucosamine and they said they had a version of it that should work. It is not a prescription item so I figured it would be no problem picking some up. Then, today, I went there to see about getting some up for my friend's 18 year old cat, my friend lives in Colorado Springs and that's where her vet is, that I am taking care of they would not give it to me without doing an exam.

This cat is ancient and just had an exam a couple months ago at the vet in the Springs, but they didn't want to hear that. I'll go elsewhere to take care of my animals and get pet care products. I'm looking for a new vet that doesn't try to be cutesy, takes care of animals, doesn't charge an arm and a tail, and works with you in a reasonable fashion rather than just seeming to want money.

Cost $35 for 7 pills. They charged $25 to count out 7 pills. Now they won't refill the prescription cause we complained, they don't care about my dog being in pain. Stay away from this vet.
