My cat is very sensitive. He had a lot of health issues as a baby and this place helped a ton and didn't give up on him. He loves coming back for check ups. Everyone is kind and friendly and the service is top notch!

All of you! Marina is the best ever and I do not recall the nurse's name because I was extremely nervous but she is sunshine, everyone took a lot of care and time in understanding our needs and going the extra mile! Thank you so very much! Chaos & Val

Took a sick cat they wouldn't take care of it, they wanted me to go to emergency clinic THEY recommend, when I didn't and went next morning they told me they would not care for my cat because it didn't have a million vaccine it didn't need, it's an indoor cat that was neutered at animal services. Front desk people are rude and unfriendly, the original vets retired and only one snotty vet working. They used to have a great reputation, not anymore, even my vet used to recommend them. My cat was saved at another clinic without any hassle.

The new veterinarian, Dr. Kesseru, is extremely knowledgable and explains everything in detail. She is one of the best veterinarians in town. The receptionist, Elizabeth, and the nurses, Roberto, Jesus, and Carol, are so attentive and kind. Despite the stress with the new hospital transition and COVID protocols, they continue to give quality care to their patients. Highly recommend Miami Animal Hospital!

Took my baby Mia to them. Even though she was in a pretty bad state and emergency vets had me waiting in the car for hours, the doctor here took in my dog in no later than 10 minutes and gave her much needed meds. She is now doing a lot better.

Do not bring your beloved pets to this clinic. The business is a mess. Nearly every employee has quit due to poor management and bad treatment. The main vet has left the practice. Only one person works out front and they are woefully incompetent and unprofessional. They threatened to call the police after my asking several times for my 3 pets' records from the last 3 years.

The employee does a good deal of complaining about their job and life yet tells the clients how much they are getting paid! My suggestion is to avoid this business and find someplace more professional.

My experience is a clinic that, whenever I go, is clean, very organized, and service is the most The members of the clinic are very cordial and know how to treat the animals. I would also like to consider the veterinarian Alberto Stark for his service to my dogs and his concern for their well-being

I totally recommend bringing your pet to this clinic. Staff was super friendly and professional. Currently they offer curb side service because of the pandemic. Which was super convenient. Doctor was great and took his time explaining my dogs treatment plan.

The care for animals seemed high, and the doctor did what he could to keep his costs low. The only reason I didn't give 5 is because I had to wait in my car while the doctor was at lunch. He's gotta eat, I get that, I just wish he would've given the staff what they needed to wrap up our appointment because I lost an additional 2 hours of work, for a total of 5 hours sitting in the lot.

Although minor snafus were encountered the staff and doctor did their best to make amends and helpful suggestions. These things happen during a pandemic. Sometimes you have to be a little flexible and go with the flow. They are always professional and good with my doggie. I appreciate everything that they have done and continue doing.

We took our small (19 lb) Bichon male dog for a check up due to a slight limp from his hind left leg and we thought to take him in to make sure nothing serious was happening. Due to Covid-19, I had to wait in the car while an assistant took him inside to do the medical check up. Dr. Stark called me to advise that he had performed a medical check and found no issues but gave him a shot for the pain and gave us some pills for the inflammation and asked to see how he did in a week.

The next day our dog could barely walk and his leg was worst then ever so who know what the Dr. Stark or the medical assistant did but in reality he came out much worse than when we took him in. I filled out a survey giving them a very poor review. The front desk assistant called me a couple of days later to ask why the poor review so I explained the situation and she passed me over to the office manager (Yami).

I proceeded to explain Yami the situation again and her response was to advise that they only do A+ service and that she was sorry that I was not satisfied with the service. She then asked if I wanted to take him back for another medical exam without offering a refund for the visit or free follow up examination. We are never going back to this veterinarian office! Do not take your pet to this place! It is not worth taking the chance on them providing malpractice on your pet and then take your money just like it happened to us!

I have been coming here for 8 years with my dog and always been treated kindly and respectfully but the other day i was treated so bad by Dr Tejedor that im considering not going back anymore. Dr Stark is a sweetheart but when my dog got acute sick Tejedor was the only one there so thats why he has been continuing taking care of him. If you are planning taking your dog to this place stay away from Dr Tejedor because if you start to question the treatment/ procedures he will get really angry and treat you like garbage. Very unprofessional since you are the one paying.

I have a 4 month old kitten I had checked up with them because he kept scratching himself around his nose and ears and while being there they told me the cat was perfectly healthy and just sent me a medicine to take care of it and within almost two weeks I had to take him to a hospital for vomiting 4 times back to back and once I got there they told me he had scabies, a mouth infection and worms in his stomach. This place is just lies to take your money I will never come here again

Good veterinarian doctors but expensive. They don't take into consideration loyalty to customers that have been coming for years and providing them with business. Had to always remind them of the fact I was spending over $200/month in treatments for my sick dogs and new puppy. Dr. Stark is ruthless and insensitive, when I brought my puppy for an initial visit.

He had one testicle and told me to return the dog, bc he was defective and re-immunized him (full charge-nonetheless, repeat every 2 week visits) bc he didn't trust where my dog came from. Good thing is you can request who to see. Dr. Tejedor is more humane, understanding, and kind. I appreciate him, his staff and will miss them. Just wish they weren't so expensive and that Dr. Stark was more personable and not so rude and snobby.

I have been taking my dogs and cats to this animal clinic since they opened. Dr Tejedor has been our vet always been satisfied with their services and the staff specially Maria and Michelle are great! In July my mothers cat was savagely attacked outside in the middle of the night inside her yard. We suspect it was a chayote or large fox because they shredded her vulva, anus, and part of her stomach!

My mom lives by the Falls area and my husband went over took the cat to her vet who basically told him to euthanize the cat! We rushed to Dr Tejedor right away and he performed miracles! Reconstructed a new vulva, anus, and other internal parts. Today the cat is back to normal! Yes Dr Tejedor you are a miracle worker and one amazing vet!

10 years ago this hospital saved my puppy from parvovirus, I have been bringing both dogs to them ever since. The entire staff is amazing very loving and professional and Dr. Stark is one of the most knowledgeable kindest doctors I've ever met. If you love your animals as much as I do, then bring them here

Over the years, I've been to several animal hospitals/clinics in the Miami and Coral Gables area. Miami Animal Hospital has really earned my trust and respect. Unlike other veterinary services, MIAMI ANIMAL HOSPITAL DOES NOT OVERCHARGE ITS CLIENTS! When I visit Miami Animal Hospital, I can rest easy that my dog is receiving EXCELLENT care without being overcharged. Example: I went in last week for the annual vaccines/licensing for one of my dogs. DR. STARK (always friendly and knowledgable) examined her.

Most vets will tell you you need to do a pricey vaccine 'package' (regardless of your dog's actual circumstances) but not Miami Animal Hospital. For instance, since my dog isn't around other dogs much and I never take her her to groomers to leave her in boarding / accommodations, there were a couple of vaccines she doesn't need. Dr. Stark asked questions to determine my dog's needs and then told me which ones I needed and which ones I didn't. Gee, this is the first time any veterinarian has actually cared enough to do that! (I took my dog to another local vet, when Dr. Stark was on vacation and, guess what?

They loaded up my bill up with unnecessary vaccines, including an $80, two-part influenza shot!). Needless to say, I'm pleasantly impressed by Dr. Stark and Miami Animal Hospital. Some veterinary clinics care more about making money than conservative assessments -- they seem to want to throw as many tests, X-rays, and vaccines as they can, to drive up the bill. Miami Animal Hospital is the only clinic in the area, in my experience, that does NOT do that.

It really means a great deal to go somewhere knowing my dog/s will receive the BEST care (Dr. Stark is truly a gifted veterinarian) and that I won't be charged for tests or drugs my dogs don't need. A+++ not only for great veterinary case but for their honesty! Also, MARIA at the front desk is always terrific (she really knows her stuff!), as are the techs who are so caring with the animals.

About two weeks ago my dog Chip had surgery to remove his teeth due to a severe advanced oral infection. We scheduled the surgery for that same week and felt such guilt that our little Chip was so helpless. The doctor called the next day to follow up and give us further instructions for his care post-surgery. How happy we were to see our baby feeling better.

During his follow up visit a few days ago it was discovered he needed another surgery and we promptly took action. This one was scarier than the first, since he was bleeding uncontrollably from his nose after surgery. But the doctors acted quickly and we were able to take him home. Today, one day after the procedure we got a call first thing from the doctor who answered questions we forgot to ask and told us Chip would be doing much better very soon. I'm very grateful to the doctors and staff for providing such wonderful care and attention.

Upon writing this review, I noticed that Chip was looking to the pantry as if saying, c'mon lady feed me some food. He ate, drank water, walked the patio and is now resting like a baby. No complaints here.

My dog had to get her teeth extracted because of an untreated oral infection (a friend was unable to care for her so, surprise!). The Pet Vet on S Dixie referred me to this place. When I walked in the staff was very welcoming. Dr. Stark performed an exam and found my dog also had an ear infection :/ The dr made me schedule an appt for a teeth cleaning to figure out which, if all teeth needed to be extracted.

The following Tuesday I dropped her off in the morning. They called me at noon to let me know what the status was. Unfortunately, she was going to be toothless but at least she wasn't going to be in anymore pain. Now you know there is no escaping a ginormous vet bill when it comes to dental, or any medical bill for that matter. Nonetheless, I was able to apply for Care Credit- interest-free for a year.

You can use the card for human oral care as well. I picked her up at the end of the day. They gave me meds for pain and said to call in case an emergency. Dr. Tejedor was also a pleasure to deal with.nice Argentinian man. Ps: Maria at the front desk is a sweetheart!

I've been taking my dogs here for the past 4 years and they are incredible! The staff is great, the doctors are great, the groomer is excellent and the service is just incredible. The staff often calls you by your name if they've dealt with you for a while, if you tell them your name they'll most likely automatically know the name of your dog before they check the record.

My dog came from a shelter and he can't stand being in any cage-like place and the girls in the front actually had him sitting in their lap so that he wouldn't bark and I've seen them with other dogs too. The doctors won't insist on you buying unnecessary pills or stuff for your dog. They recommended the Heart Guard the first two times I went, ever since they just ask if he's taking them and they'll say that if I ever want to give it to him that they'll have it and they drop the subject.

They check him and do everything they need to do. If they see something abnormal under the microscope they'll actually take you so that you can see it on the computer. I usually dealt with Dr. Yull, mostly in Spanish but there are other Drs there that I've had the chance of meeting and they were great. The groomer is great! He does what I ask, not a thing more or less.

My boyfriend has his dog full of knots (that's not my dog) and I remember they took him to PetSmart and the dog came back with several cuts in his skin. Ever since that incident they have taken him here (with knots as well) and he's never been cut or anything. The service is great. Walk-ins are usually fast, except on Saturday. Appointments are fast as well, although I've only done one in the past 4 years. You might think I'm exaggerating, but my dog is pretty much my kid and I always take him here. I recommend him to everyone that truly loves their pet.

I have been taking my dog to this vet for a couple of years. They have several doctors but I have always seen Dr. Yull. I speak to him in Spanish because his English is horrible. My dog was suffering from chronic ear infections and he was finally able to convince me into getting some sort of scope treatment (along with a dental cleaning) which was pricey but it worked.

The receptionists know me by my dog's name and the Dr. Yull is always very nice and throughly instructs me on how to care for my dog's ailments. I also use their groomer once in a while which is about $65 ( I have paid $45 at other places) and the groomer does a good job.

Last Friday, my husband brought in our dog b/c he had developed some growths all over his neck and head. We were worried it might be cancer, but the vet, a Dr. Yull (who barely spoke English), was pretty dismissive of our concerns. He ordered some bloodwork and gave the dog some antibiotics. He had no answer as to what the growths were and, for some reason I can't explain, did not order an aspiration.

He reported that the bloodwork was within normal range and told us to keep an eye on the dog. (One thing I will say is that he called the next day to see how the dog was doing.) To make a tragic story short, my dog was dead 4 days later. The lumps that the vet did not aspirate or give much concern to turned out to be cancerous tumors that had spread all over the dog's body.

The emergency vet at Knowles Animal Clinic told us that one of the tumors had likely burst, causing the dog to die. Mind you, he made this diagnosis pretty quickly. Why the vet at Miami Animal Hospital did not order an aspiration of the tumors is beyond me. Had we known better, perhaps my dog could have been saved.
