The mission of the NMVMA is to promote veterinary medicine and quality animal care through communication, fellowship, and professional growth of New Mexico veterinarians. The Other Family Doctor: 75 Years of Veterinary Medicine in New Mexico In 2006, the New Mexico Veterinary Medical Association celebrated seventy-five years of serving the veterinary profession in New Mexico.

Your membership is your voice and the NMVMA is the Voice of Veterinary Medicine in New Mexico. Our purpose is to promote veterinary medicine and quality animal care through communication, fellowship, and the professional growth of New Mexico veterinarians. I have been a member of NMVMA since graduation 14 years ago.
Veterinarian of the Year Award: The purpose of this award is to recognize the veterinarian who has rendered outstanding service to the profession, has served as an outstanding representative of our profession to the general public, and whose activities, civic involvement, and lifestyle exemplify the type of professional person that all veterinarians can be proud of.
The NMVMA is very active year round when it comes to following legislation pertaining to veterinarians and the welfare of animals. The Power of Ten is an NMVMA initiative designed to help recent graduates develop foundational skills in leadership, communication and business. If you graduated from veterinary school within the last 15 years and are a member of the NMVMA, you are eligible!

Took my best friend, service animal, who had traveled with me for 14 years and 10,000 miles to Kent Hall in April. My dog had arthritis and bad teeth . He was eating two meals every day but had trouble with stairs, but was healthy enough for surgery! After four visits, lots medications, bills over $1,000.00 in ONE AND ONE-HALF MONTH LATER——-MY DOG IS DEAD!
If you love your pet and want to keep them FIND ANOTHER VET! I took my baby to SUNRISE VETERINARY CLINIC where they told me with in four hours that my baby had so much fluid around his heart and lungs that he was terminal. MY BABY WAS DEAD BY THAT NIGHT!
STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM MESA GRANDE ANIMAL CLINIC AS YOU POSSIBLY CAN!
