Services
Whether you have a new puppy, an older kitty, or a beautiful equine, the veterinarians and staff of Marina Veterinary Center look forward to providing you and your pet with exceptional service and care. Our goal is to ensure that your pet receives the preventive care needed now to protect him or her from potential health conditions and diseases in the future.
Did you know that periodontal disease afflicts more pets than any other disease? While this may not seem like cause for alarm, if left untreated, it can lead to infections that spread into the bloodstream and result in major damage to the heart, kidneys, and liver. That's why we make cat and dog dental care an important part of our overall pet wellness plans at Marina Veterinary Center.
When a pet requires veterinary surgery-whether it's a spay or neuter procedure or something more advanced-it's important to ensure that he or she will be in the best possible hands. At Marina Veterinary Center, the health and well-being of your pet is our top priority. Our veterinarians and staff will carefully review your pet's condition and all of the treatment options available.
When pets are sick, injured, or in pain from a condition such as arthritis, they can't tell us what is wrong. As a matter of fact, they will typically try to hide their discomfort for as long as possible. Thankfully, we have advanced veterinary diagnostic tools like veterinary radiology to assist us in identifying any pet health issues that may be present.
Marina Veterinary's emergency service maintains a state-of-the-art facility to provide compassionate and expert care for pets that need emergency and critical assistance. Our emergency weekend service is staffed by experienced veterinarians and nurses who work together and with referring vets to provide the highest standard of care to our sickest patients.

Great experience for my dog. I switched to this vet a few months ago as a closer to home option for my dog's kidney disease treatments and have really appreciated their level of service. I've been to a VCA hospital where you feel like your pet is in a factory line, in and out as quickly as possible. This vet provides higher attention to detail and all the staff are very friendly!

Absolutely terrible traumatizing experience. Took my puppy to get his first check-up, the doctor came in, rushed us, questioned our breeder, told us all the things she was going to do including fecal and deworming (which my breeder had just done during the puppy wellness check-up) to which I said "we don't need that". She said sternly that it was standard practice and before I knew it they took my dog to the back to do everything, not in the exam room?

Which I have never heard of. We felt rushed, confused and I was so upset when I left. My dog also came back from the 5 minutes "in the back" like he was sedated. I then got slapped with a huge bill. DON'T take your dog here.

I wanted to write a review as I have been going here with my inherited senior cat for almost a year. E eryone has been fabulous and Dr Halligan is super attentive and has excellent after care. I highly recommend this veterinary group.

Horrible experience. Charged me over $100 for an exam which lasted 5 minutes and the doctor didn't tell me ANYTHING about my pet. I did not hear one single thing about how he was doing. One of the workers Amanda (very nice person) told me more about my pet than the actual doctor. Save your time and don't take your pets here.

SAVE YOURSELF AND YOUR PET. GO TO ANOTHER VET! I wish I read the other reviews before going here! "Veronica" was beyond unprofessional! I showed up for my appointment and she claimed that I called to cancel when I had confirmed just an hour before. She consistently told me what I must have done to cause the mix up on HER end. Not to mention, when I was very audibly upset she continued to patronize me and ensure that my feelings were not valid and I had made a mistake.

She could have so easily gotten a new loyal customer but due to her extreme rudeness, I would never send my dog or let anyone else send there dog to a place that can be so unprofessional, patronizing, and rude. Especially when an owner is just trying to get help for their pet! If they are this rude to vulnerable humans who are just trying to get help for their sick animal, imagine how they are to a creature that can't speak.

Horrible! I Basically Paid 300.$ For An Educated Guess That I Had Already Gotten On Google Search ! The Dr. Only Saw My German Shepherd For Literally Less Than 30 Second's! She Was Having Major Bleeding With Blood Clots Which Could Be Kidney Or Bladder Cancer/Stones Which German Shepherds Are Prone To. Just Treated My Baby Girl For A UTI & Waited 7 Hrs.

The Worst Thing Of All Is You Can't Go In With Your Dog Just Hand Your Baby Off To Them While You Wait In The Parking Garbage. What If She Started Bleeding Out While I'm Outside (Thank God She Didn't) I'm Just Going To Not Be With Her In Trauma Or Worse!? NO WAY! NEVER AGAIN! But I Do Have To Say That The Tech's Were Way More Polite Than MOST ALL Of The Customers Coming In Screaming At These Ppl Like They're Their Personal Help, Honestly OMG What Is Wrong With Ppl Today!? Save Your Money & Go To Any Other Animal Hospital, Even VCA In Silver Lake Is Way Better! Dara Crippen

Big fans of Dr. Moss. We have two German shepherds and we've had less than great experiences at other locations in LA as it almost seems like vets around here are not used to larger dogs. I know they can be a little bit more to handle than small dogs and both of ours are high energy males. Dr. Moss and the team have been great though, and they have not only taken great care of our pups but they are extremely communicative and keep us in the loop on what is happening and why. They also never try to price gouge us and have even made recommendations on saving money on prescriptions that are to their detriment. Will continue using them!

This place left a bad taste in my mouth. The staff are not at all welcoming or friendly. Receptionists spend most of their time whispering and giving out dirty looks. I got about 3 minutes of face time with the vet the first time I went and 0 the second time. They forgot to look through my pets records which I had sent over a week before the appointment, so none of my questions were answered and it was quite expensive. I have never felt so dismissed. Also my dog just about ran the other way when we took her the second time and she's never done that at a vet before. She's 13 years old.

The staff was professional and they kept me in the loop when it comes to my new dog. They gave him the vaccines that he needed and then some. They need I was homeless and they treated me no different then any other animal lover. I forgot to ask them about the breed of my dog and yesterday I seen an email to register on their site so I could make appointments, see my dogs medical records, and more. I found our how old my dog was and what his breed was. I would definitely recommend this clinic to others.

Excellent local care provider for your cats, dogs, birds and other small not-overly-exotic creatures. If you don't have pet insurance, stop what you're doing and get it. Especially if you have an active pet. Consultations are $150 here. You can get a consolation and walk away with an estimate in case you wish to shop around vets in the area. They provide operational procedures for basic needs like torn ACLs. However, if your dog is in a life-threatening emergency, go to Access Vet on Jefferson Blvd, open 24 hrs. Dr. Moss and Dr. Antonio both handled my pitbull-boxer with ease.

It's obvious that these vets care about animals. They also care about your wallet and will run options by you. If they can understand an issue without an MRI, they will avoid the scan for the costs. I read someone's comment about holistic care - that is such a debatable subject and really depends on the animal and their condition. This vet does a wonderful job at treating serious injuries.

Nice clean rooms to wait in with your dog individually. Filled with tips and information about pet care on the walls. They have coffee in the lobby, dog and cat treats and even biscuits for humans. Parking located behind building.
